- This video showcases 20 Japanese cars that have only been featured in one or two racing games.
Cars that were made specifically for a certain game, such as Gran Turismo's Vision GTs, or released after 2020 are excluded. Non-licensed car appearances were not taken into account for the video.
Game appearances are based on the information found on game wikis and IGCD.

Regarding the Daihatsu: the word "M*dget" is considered a derogatory word by TH-cam. You might think this is stupid, you might think this is understandable, it doesn't matter; if I don't censor the word, I'm likely risking demonetization of the video or worse. Of course, in this case, it is only used as a model name for a kei truck which obviously shouldn't count as an offensive use of the word, but knowing how well TH-cam's automated systems work, I rather not want to find out if gets caught by it or not.

You should start a new thing called Unicorn Tracks in racing games, where a real life race track is only featured in a handful of games
Pines Peak speedway is a prime example I forgot which nascar game it was in but it's definitely a unicorn track

Just a polite clarification. The Honda NSX GT2 was also featured in the first Gran Turismo game on PS1 under the name Honda NSX-R LM GT2. Also the GT2 engines were Na whilst the GT1 race cars used twin turbos and both cars utilised 6 speed sequential gearboxes from hewland. Although in 1995 the GT2 car won it’s class the GT1 cars suffered after entering two cars Car NO.47 retired after 7 laps killing it’s clutch whilst car NO.46 finished the race but wasn’t classified
Would also like to add to this at 1:03: An FT-86 II concept was made and AFAIK it was also featured in GT5 and 6 along with a mobile game called "GT Racing 2: The Real Car Experience". The car got removed in a later update during the game's lifespan but I remember having a lot of fun with it
Probably it was related with Toyota's infamous move to pull out from almost all racing games, since I remember Asphalt 8 lost Toyota around the same time

You mean real life footage, or in-game footage? I compared the GR Supra 3000GT to the original TRD 3000GT and thought people should talk about AR a bit more. It definitely deserves more recognition now that it’s getting cars that **almost** no other game features.

Yo, thanks for showcasing mobile racing games like Assoluto Racing for the Toyota GR Supra 3000GT at 3:31! This particular car really deserves more attention as I hear not many people talking about it, and it suddenly has become one of my favorite Japanese cars ever.
By the way, what is this _Drift Spirits_ game from 2013 which also has the GR Supra 3000GT? Based on that release date, it doesn’t seem like it would have gotten that car.
That jiotto Caspita is such a sexy looking super car, it really reminds of the designs of cars such as Nazca M12, its really sad that it didn't make it into production
The reflections in Enthusia got fixed in PCSX2 builds starting early last year (also BTW, RPCS3's shader compilation notification in the bottom left corner can be turned off)

Nice video! I would like to ask a question though: isn't the Stagea also present among the Second hand car dealers in GT4 or am I confusing it with another car?

13:35 Correction: It was supposed to be a Lexus LS, not an LF. it also appeared in Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune as a playable car.
Also, the Stagea Autech 260RS had appeared in Drift Spirits and also in arcade game Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune since the 5DX version. I know this, since in WMMT I used to own a fully tuned one myself prior to retirement.

Sorry, it was a typo. However, this is the XF20 generation, which hasn't reappeared in later games, only the XF10 first-gen Celsior.
As for the Stagea, the one in the video is the Nismo-tuned version, which has only been featured in Gran Turismo 2.
3:31 The GR Supra 3000GT concept also appears in Initial D The Arcade, albeit as an aero vehicle.

I remember the Ft-86 in GT Racing 2 on mobile. can't believe that that game is 11 years old now.
Jiotta Caspita is also in Automodelista. Mitsuoka Oriochi is also in that game.
Stagea 260RS is in later GT games as well. At least 4,5,6. The i-Miev is an evolution (ironic) of the Mitsubishi "I", which was in GT4
@@toddthezondalover645 The Stagea 260RS that appeared in later GT games is different from the Nismo found on GT2. While essentially the same mechanically, the Nismo has funky body kits, and it never appear again after GT2. They're not the same car
The Caspita in auto modellista is the Mk. II version with a somewhat different body and a V10 instead; it will be covered separately in a future Volume.
Consider featuring the Falcon F7 in a future video, it only appeared in Asphalt 8

From what I can see based on IGCD, it's only the first-generation Celsior that appears in later Wangan games.
Wrong car. That was the XF10, the unicorn here is the XF20. Different chassis, different generations.

The Celsior is an XF-10, not 20. It's also In Wangan Midnight for PS3.
Can also be referred to and mostly is referred to as the UCF10, UCF20.

Good video , but bit boring cars this time ( not your fault you just state every unicorn). Alfa Romeo gtv and MG zr in toca 3/ Dtm race driver are a unicorn I believe never seen those models elsewhere.
Now I see why the boring cars , they are all Japanese ( 1 country) and I find Japanese cars quite boring .. I would love to see it mixed agian like usual

IGCD is definetly unreliable source for such obscure games, you better play them by yourself
IGCD still are useful, but doesn't have present every racing game.

Fun fact: The daihatsu M*dget I was used as a taxi in Indonesia until as late as 2019 (possibly 2020 idk). We call these taxi "Bemo" and in some towns you could see a bunch of them and it's like time travelling to the past.
