Lyrics:
Mut the dangerous dead
Trouble me no longer
I inscribe thy name
I threaten thee with the second death
I kill thy name
And thus I kill thee again
In the afterlife
Bau terror of the living
Angry spirits of the condemned dead
I write thy name
I burn thy name in flames
I kill thy name
And thus thee are accursed
Even into the underworld
Mut the troublesome dead
Plague me no longer
Thou art cursed
Thy name is crushed
Thine clay is smashed and broken
Thy vegeance against the living
Shall come to naught
It's like they are having competition who's gonna finish this song faster
lmao!! thas exactly how I felt
That’s fucking hilarious, now I will not ever forget that! 🤘🏽😂
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL !!
lol :D
But it's so good though
This style of music is so oddly therapeutic and relaxing to me. It's like a perfect lava lamp of unrelenting chaos.
This song has some of the heaviest, most brutal and wicked riffs ever written.
so is cannibal corpse
Pedro Afonso Karl and Dallas are riff GODS
Churning the Maelstorm is also equally cunning. The 29 sec solo on that track truly defines their guitar prowess. Not to mention Tony Laureano is a beast on the drum kit.
@@TROOP3RAK47 dude right this song is bad ass!!!!!!
Dallas Toler-Wade
Nile is the Death Metal Picasso .
Simply piece of Art
Nah DEATH were far better
@@dcmastermindfirst9418Death was much more melodic and thrashy. To outright say death was better is just mildly subjective or outright wrong. The talent necessary for both is up there but when directly compared it's night and day. The talent level with Nile is in a league of its own.
@@TerminalM193 Wrong.
Chuck was and still is the father of death metal.
An absolute genius.
We demand and HD version of this masterpiece !!
Tony was such a bad ass drummer. His work on this album is incredible.
For me best Nile drum work record. With amongst the catacombs of nephren ka too...
Same. He may not be as fast as Kollias, but I think the albums Tony was on are the best albums
@@QuesadillaLover He was good on the album but he was also one of those studio magicians. that's what bothered me about him especially on live records
@@QuesadillaLoverDefinetly
The drummer's energy is amazing.
I've been listening to this for over 10 years and it still fucking amazes me. I'm always noticing new shit with the lead. One of the best fucking Death Metal albums ever.
Jorge Regula haha me too brotha.
Love jamming to this shit on my street glide harley....
You know it's a 2007 video when you have a myspace link in the description
You know what a video is from 2007, when it was uploaded in 2007
You know this video hasn't really decayed that much in audio quality in 10+ years because 240p.
@@Nox210 with vinyl you now would have lost much in audio quality.
Sure 240p is bad. But you can have much better, sure.
archaeologists of the future: "what the fuck is tila tequila"
This video is actually from 2002.
0:34 mo to to to to
😂😂😂😂
Hahahahaha!!! Good one!
Karaoke it is
Hahahah. (The actual line is "Mut the dangerous dead.")
mojo mojo mojo
I am not a super die hard death metal buff, but man. Nile is among one of the most impressive bands when it comes to the genre!
Sawblade cymbal warms my heart everytime (:
My 56 year old dad likes nile and appreciates the heaveness and technicality that comes with this band and he comes from the 70's era growing up with listening to zeppelin, sabbath.I myself believe that nile is a mature band playing intelligent music and i love them!!
I have grown up with Beatles and love Nile :)
11 years later. Still insanely hard
Thank you Nile for making such great music.
Dallas Toler-Wade wrote this.
I am confused how they play so technical and sing at the same time?!Damn these guys know how to raise hell!
Talent and practice.
Too much practice and a lot of Focus, they barely pay any attention to their sorrrouding while doing it, look how thr vocalist looks up with a lost sight when he performs, hes only thinking on what hes doing
@@brookinghouseof9457 no shit sherlock
Karl Sanders throws in a bit of Stratocaster when no ones looking.
They simply are THE best Death metal band in existence.
Circular saw blade as cymbal...nice!
In my opinion, this was their best line-up and best production to date.
George kollias is WAY better than Lauren
@@AnestisStaikos laureano is much more original and varied in composition
@@EvilSimon94 what!? 😅George is much more creative, WAY Faster and has overall better technic
@@AnestisStaikos much more creative lol
anyway faster it does not mean creative :)
kollias is great, but the his drum line, in specially in the last albums, and the his solo works are really boring and monotonous,
laureano has played in all different bands, listens to his works, otherwise it's useless to talk.
@@EvilSimon94 do you listen to nile? Which albums do you know from them? Extreme death metal can't be so creative anyways... But if you listen closely to nile albums with George on drums you will see a lot of different variations and plays... Plus he does it all at crazy speeds.
Everyone who knows from EXTREME DEATH metal admits that George is the greatest and there are a lot of good drummers after him. Especially Laureno is nothing close to Kollias.
THe rhytm guitar over the solo is awesome!
2:34 will forever be imprinted in my mind as the most mind-boggling speed fill I've ever heard.
Same here. Blows me away every time I hear it
Thank Dallas Toler-Wade
There are a lot of good metal bands from North America, but Nile is in a class of their own. Every song by them is a brilliant masterpiece. Also, how the hell does this dude with his giant bear paw manhandling his guitar neck play such intricate notation?
Karl Sanders and his lethal sausage fingers have defied physics since the 90s
Might not have looks that kill but he has fuckloads of skill.
I saw this very lineup playing this at Bradford, England on the tour for 'Shrines' and they totally fucking killed the place. The strange but amazing mix of Karl being all happy and brutal, Jon being brutal as fuck, Dallas....being Dallas and Tony battering the skins is something that has left an indelible imprint on my mind.
what a fucking... amazing... song
Old AF song, but to this day Dallas has to be one of the most intimidating vocalists in Death Metal.
Dallas Toler-Wade knows how to write music.
The year is now 2022 and this album is still in my top 10 rotations
just read the lyrics once,
then everytime u hear this song, you'll be able to understand every word.
the agression in this songs is awesome, I love to listen to it in the morning to wake up, the energy that flows from it makes u wade awake :-)
Beautiful music.
those forearms tho
They all can growl really well. Its nice to see even more variety
Has no one noticed the random Strat that comes and goes at random?
Butt Nile heheh the strat player was too metal to be shown
Butt Nile Judging by the hands, it's probably Karl. Not sure why they decided to do that. Lol
It's one of Karl's first guitars. An old fender which he blocked off the trem, put on a decent pup and replaced the neck with one from Warmoth and here's the best bit...stuck a Jackson sticker on the headstock!
Thanks for the info :)
Yeah dude it's fucking weird. I have watched this video hundreds of time, yet Karl and Dallas are both playing Deans that are clearly shaped and painted differently not to mention that they don't have pickguards. And Jon is playing bass, so... 🤷♂️
Excelente video tremendo tema, NILE excelente en todo ♥️🇻🇪
This song just gave birth to something in my mind, something ancient...
@66samus PLEASE cover this song!
One of the best & most brutal fkn death metal songs on the planet right here!
never gets old
They're NOT HUMANS!!!!!!
Great Band!!!!
METAL IS FOREVER!!!!!
Tony Laureano was such a beast with Nile.
+MikeCT i'm a huge fan from Kollias, but i have to admit that the best Nile record had Tony on the throne
+Yener Ozturk tony laureano in angelcorpse is a fucking crack
Kollias had such huge shoes to fill.
@ he had the ability to do it and admires him alot
George kollias is WAY better man...
agreed about the bassist, definitely their best line up
Is that tony laureano on drums ? He's an absolute monster.. hail Nile !!
Best nile song ever!!!
True and wind of horus
Wutthinan Kamai I think most of the songs in this album are really the best. Kheftiu assar butchiu, churning the maelstrom, the blessed dead. They somehow don’t make em as brutal as they used to.
@@jayantapanigrahi4920 Dark funeral
Wutthinan Kamai oh yeah. No question about dark funeral. Very true to their cause. I am saying Nile does not make em that straight out brutal as they used to any more. Sanders has gotten too artsy fartsy like the Fleshgod apocalypse or the erstwhile sepultura. Keep it true and brutal.
And behemoth too. Big disappointment these days.
Best Album by Nile to date. They sound so meaty and heavy.
Wow, this is one of Death Metal's best drum albums. \m/
The work of a master of death metal. !
Die hard fans from Thailand 🇹🇭
Only nile could make chicken picking brutal
I listenedthis song many times, my mom loves it
I heard this when I was 14…I’m 32 now..still have no idea what they’re saying but I can still make noises that sound like lyrics
Ahah same
It’s crazy how heavy they sound. There are bands that tune way lower than drop A. I think it’s they’re set up and thicker strings. It sounds insanely devastating at the bottom end sound. Heaviest band in existence! 💪🏻👊🏼
this is the first time ive heard them, and wow, i am fucking impressed. The recording engineer or producer or whoever mixed this for them did an amazing job. I fucking love how clear that shredding is from 1:20 to 1:50 I love how the guitarist is also the vocalist. You dont see alot of 4 peice metal bands. Usually a band is marketed around their frontman. But to see these guys doing something out of the norm is sick. Anyone know if they are still together/on hiatus/recording/touring??
nice one didn't heard at all of nile until now great band and also awsome they go all 3 of them on vocals great espacialy while playing
LAUREANO'S ARMS AND LEGS WERE MAKING OVER 1000 RPS
Always reminds me of a glorious sunset on a summer's evening.
These guys have a lot of talent. The drummer's blast beats sound painful to do. It takes a lot of muscle to do blast beats. The guitars are really good too. Nile has blistering riffs and their solos are really catchy. Band members of Nile have studied ancient Egyptian history and have incorporated Egyptian themes into their music. They even have that Egyptian/Middle Eastern sound in their guitars. I can understand why older people don't like this music. It's the awesome thundering vocals right?
Nile truly is an awesome band.
JON VESANO ON BASS
AHHHHH
BEAST drummer.
TONY LAUREANO HORNS UP TO HIM!!!
Wow fantastic lyrics !
Is that bass player a descendant of the Annunaki? lol
brian mossman Lmao. For real!
jon vesano. dude was a beast. i used to know his girlfriend. chick was tiny.
He has ten fingers on his left hand
@@Destrodooomocculta I saw them live once in this lineup. The dude has an incredible stage presence, the only person that came close was Erik Rutan
After the first lineup with Chief Spires, Pete Hammoura, this is the second lineup I really like and miss. These guys made some sick music and also not to forget the sound was so good back then. Now with digital, things are overly processed and the worst thing these days in metal is drum mixes, that sound like a cheap drum machine with lack of dynamics and the live sound.
saw blade cymbal,,damn they fucking brutal
Love that rhythm guitar..
Nile, I just wanted to say.. I love you.
Sooooo good!!!!!!!!
What is this, a resolution for ants?
Goreface69 Well it was uploaded in 2007
+Beards Are Metal Did I really just see this?
RealDisturbed See what?
+Beards Are Metal Profile image. Just surprised to finally see someone that not only knows Cattle but likes Monolith.
RealDisturbed Oh yea Monolith is THE best
OMG I love the way this song is arranged. It's still my all-time favorite Nile song!
@1:46 that FOREARM!
Just saw Nile in Jerome, Idaho with Soulfly ..... Awesome show !!!!!
I got really confused, I've been into extreme metal for a few years now, and this band always sounded a little weird to me, today I listened to it and ended up liking it a lot
Awesome.
La creatividad y ejecución de Tony Laureano en este álbum es impresionante y lamentablemente muy subestimada.
Hghjhcxfj vxg
Awesome performance 🎛️🎸🥁⚡
"In their darkened shrines" is my second favorite Nile album (after AoTW). It finally grew on me, haha. I got into it so much I just listened to it everyday for a while.
I look forward to their new album. I read it would be released this year, but so far I haven't even heard of a title.
these guys are amazing live
tony laureano best drummer ever, speed, technique and originality.
.....mad work.....
btw...can someone tell me who the hell is playing the white strat? haha
+Christian Bjork Karl, because the strat has a scalloped neck and only Karl in the band plays guitars with scalloped necks.
xX_dragonzanddungeonzmaster69_Xx ...That's because the video isn't shot all in one take, genius.
+xX_dragonzanddungeonzmaster69_Xx What exactly is weird? The fact that the video wasn't shot all in one take? Literally everybody shoots music videos in multiple takes.
The fact that Karl is shown with two different guitars? You know he's allowed to own more than just one guitare, right?
ohhhh, youtube comments!
Christian Bjork The home of the ignorant ones.
Actually, the whole internet is.
I like this so much!!!
this song and cast down the heretic are their most brutal songs in my opinion.... and smashing the antiu
dudersification Black seeds of vengeance and The howling of the jinn also
Manuel Aguayo black seeds of vengeance is good too
Dah! dah! dah! dah! daaauuuughh!!! Best line of the whole song.
This is legit.
No costumes, no make-up
Just pure brutal metal \m/(-_-)\m/
Thank goodness to Dallas Toler-Wade. Return to the underground
This just touched my heart.
I miss Jon Vesano
perdedoronline he isn't far away 😉🤘🏻
all these guys "sold there soul"best I've ever heard !!!!!!!!!
Pharoah Akhenaten black Barack Obama
great band!!!
back when nile didn't suck
meocats HAHAHAHAHA THEY SOUND THE SAME ON EACH SONG
k, now this is just awesome!!! and i love the saw in his drum set!! \m/
Have you guys ever wondered WHY you enjoy this kind of music?
Daniel Carneiro Yes, thank you so much for asking us that question. I enjoy this, because it influenced me to get into the Metal scene and it gives me the opportunity to play and enjoy the music, especially when I pick up my first Metal guitar. I'm proud to be a Metalhead.
because we are the peacock angel blooline
Because it's good
Daniel Carneiro the energy and the ability to play this is what won me over
Coz pop culture suck
@Serillian666 yeah this was before they got Kollias. He came on Annihilation of the Wicked. This song is from In Their Darkened Shrines
This is the best technical brutal death metal song ever written, period.
I totally agree, word by word.
@mbphofan Nile was always a 3-men-vocals band, since the beginning. And when they were only in 3 also the drummer was on vocals. The frontman, composer and funder is Karl Sanders, the blond guitarist, and yes, they are working on their 7th album that will come out in 2012 and they will also do a tour after the release.
This October also a demo re-release will come out, "Worhip the Animal" (1994 Demo) and i strongly recommend it, it's great.
Best Nile Ever
Perfect lullaby
Brilliant rock song
Actually this is country
LOL, scroll down and read the comment posted from "aq shades". I just about shit myself from laughter, looool.
What I've always loved the most on this video is the white stratocaster! Technical death metal with a strat... excellent!
i just can´t stop watching this video
I love Nile
