I agree, time does help heal all (most?) wounds.
My wife feels that we will travel a lot in the near future, so she is reluctant to get another schnauzer (maybe two!) and would be unfair to leave them alone or with family for days/weeks.
I feel that the day will come when she'll make the decision to get another Schnauzer!
I have had 3 of these little jewels since 1998. They have all left me but I am looking to fill my heart with another.

Nice to see the boys enjoying a beautiful summer day. Seeing Levi roll in the grass reminds me of my 3. Two of them love to do the same thing. Lucky is certainly coming out of his brother's shadow as he gets older. He is a talker when outside, letting all know "my brother the sentinel is watching you!"

love schnauzers. I had two white ones that looked just like Lucky. Ate a lot of grass, rolled on his back, excited to run around, got hot easily. Lived to 14 years.
Your schnauzers sure sounds like Lucky except for the rolling on the back, he's never done that, but Levi on the other hand, well he's very different from Lucky! 🐾😍🐾

Levi found something he smelled in the grass. He rolls in that area to transfer the smell to his body. I hope that the smell is pleasant. Some dogs choose foul smelling nasty stuff! 😮

You are doing fabulous with a "jungle" for them to explore. Maybe a little bit of a path would be encouragement for their enrichment. As far as eating the grass...if they ate some lettuce on the floor, wouldn't that be the same thing. It's just that we are civilized and they don't need a plate. Rolling in the grass, is scenting, probably something peed there.
Can’t take any credit on the “jungle”… Mother Nature’s work at her best! If it gets any thicker, a path may be needed, but the boys are doing a great job making their own trails! 😂 Liked the lettuce analogy. And regarding rolling in the grass, didn’t know what that was about until I looked into it after this video… Levi did it again the next day, currently working on that video right now (but between you and me, it’s exactly how you explained it, but don’t tell anyone 🤫😂)! 🐾😍🐾
Today my schnauzer passed away and all the algorithms have unleashed the shcnauzer content on me 😮💨 I miss him so much
I know you're feeling! Our Mini Schnauzer (Lucy) passed away 18mths ago! We miss her everyday!😟

When I lost my previous two schnauzer brothers Buddy & Buster in 2015, 7 WEEKS WITHIN EACH OTHER, never thought that one year later I would be ok with getting Lucky and Levi and even doing YT videos… time does heal, sometimes in mysterious ways. That’s because Levi’s personality is EXACTLY like Buddy’s, and Lucky’s personality is EXACTLY like Buster’s… they came back! 🐾🐾

Where did you find such light colored schnauzers … I have been looking for a breeder with light colored grey ones… especially teacups or toy
Welcome to the channel... unfortunately the breeder is now retired. This litter had various color pups and wanted the two that best got along. Levi was much darker as a puppy, so they do get lighter as they get older... they're now 7 1/2 years old. I started the channel when they were 5 years, but I do have a few puppy videos. Food and grooming techniques can change dark grey ones to light grey, I know because that is what happened to mine and I didnt know why, so I researched.
@@zeldafitzgerald4149 Welcome to the channel. if you haven't seen the videos yet, Levi as a puppy was much darker and has gotten lighter the older he gets... they will be 8 in Feb.
