Same her except I am on 5th one last one passed away last year around August. My wife and I couldn't deal with how quite it was so we bought 2 more so they could play and have fun together they really are the best dogs. Loud barkers but fun loving and wonderful companions. 40 years for me. I won't own another type of dog, not that dislike other breeds, I just enjoy these because of their bright personality.
remembering this with my pup schnauzer beautiful and a very special moment on the first day giving her so much love and attention is very special indeed well done sir lovely make my heart melt

My heart is breaking. I lost my sweet little Libby shnauzer last week. She was my friend for sixteen years and I loved her so much. This little baby is so cute. I hope he has a wonderful life , and blesses those who keep him.

Grieving myself as well. My Lucy left a huge emptiness in my life. I still feel her, spot her in the shadows and can cry at a moments notice. Who would ever thought such pain. I've bred schnauzers (years ago in Denver), and have had a schnauzer in my life the past 25 years as well. They are great as a pair too.
I have experienced the most painful and cruel truth of being a dog friend many times, but I feel the same pain every time.
I have a pretty much all black schnauzer around 3 years old. She is a rescue from a backyard breeder who was breeding her over and over. Seems like she had hardly no human interaction and was held in a kennel. Scared to death of everything. I don’t use a kennel with her but she has her own big bed which she feels safe in. Had her about 8 months and it’s a journey just getting her used to living a life just being a pet. Plenty of love and letting her go at her own pace. I can see where she would benefit from a buddy though. I have an older blind Yorkie that she is being mother and protector of. They are such a joy to love!!

. This is very close to my heart. I had a mini Schnauzer named Freddy They are Wonderful dogs, very vocal and smart. They are great protectors . I wish you luck with Shana. She is beautiful. In Yiddish Shana means beauty and that is what she is.

I have two Miniature Schnauzer’s Lily and Cody who are brother and sister. I got them at 11 weeks old and they turned 5 years old this past June. They are a joy to my husband and I. Very Intelligent dogs and very vocal.

You need to let her bond with you so give her lots of cuddles so she gets use to you and your smell . She will gain your trust more and she will feel more reassured in her new home.

Poor little girl is scared and needs love and reassurance, that life will be good. I only put my puppies in a crate at night or if i leave them alone. Don't worry sweetheart all will be ok, your future looks bright on future TH-cam videos.❤❤ you are a pretty little schnauzer.

Hold her close, and give her hugs. Lift her up and say, " I love you"! Take her out for walks now. Get her around other people early. Do not let her play w other pups till she has been fully vaccinated . You have to take her out to potty very frequently. Have potty pads. Give her some Royal Canine soft food for puppies. Let her follow you around wherever you go, if possible. Let her sleep next to you at night, in the same room where you sleep. Buy a doggie tent, and have next to your bed. Give her milk. Don't have her spayed for at least a year so she can develope her bones and estrogen level, or allow her to be a mom at least once. She's very pretty, and smart. Good luck!

Happened w my puppy schnauzer too on his first day - where he ignored all treats and play. took him maybe a week to settle in. it was a real warm memory, as I took my time to bond w my baby boi then

Pick her up and hold her. Let her hear your heartbeat alot closer to bond. Don't make her eat if she does not want it. I agree with the comment to give her puppy treats. She is so cute, just love her, she will love you back unconditionally.

She needs to rest on your chest hear you heart beat and feel your warmth. Rub the blanket on your body. Your scent she will bond with and can ease her separation from you. All this is strange for her. She needs to trust you and love you. It will come.

You’re not a dog person l can tell, you are supposed to give it puppy treats not dog treats she’s just a baby and she needs puppy pads so she can use the bathroom or take her outside every 30 to 40 minutes so she can start training to go outside. Thank You
I don’t think it’s so much that he’s not a dog person, just that he’s learning he may have never had a puppy before. Give him time and though he should have done much research before getting his fur baby, he is gonna do wonderfully. Just needs times. You never go into parenting knowing everything or even doing every correctly. It’s a learning experience for you both.
Be kind they will learn just like you had too I know you are not perfect so give them grace

She is so sweet, however, schnauzers have very sensitive ears. The back up keeper on the truck was probably excruciating for her baby ears.
Shayna has a very careful friend who will always take care of her so sweet to see that her owner is so good for her !!!!

Mine was the same way when I first got her at 10 weeks. Would not take treats or toys from me for about two or three days. They her personality started emerging. She's a maniac now at almost 12 weeks old.

I had a schnauzer for 16 yrs, got her at 8wks of age, she only spent one night in kennel...only took her to groomers that didn't cage her up...
My groomers don't keep me in a cage. I have not seen a cake in a very long time. I had this crate for 7 days max.

I actually think she may need to go potty and she may be thirsty. It appears she was shipped in that crate. I can tell she’s scared and needs assurance she will be safe.

Shayna is SO adorable. My partner and I have a mini schnauzer-he’s our world and he’s always cuddling with us. I just hope you don’t leave Shayna in her crate all the time like in this video. She deserves to have the freedom to be curious and explore around your place. Plus, ideally her food shouldn’t be located in her crate. It’s why she kept trying to take her food out of the crate, but you kept forcing her to stay inside it. I’m sure you meant well, but she won’t know any better and it’ll feel like a punishment. By now hopefully you let her have the run of your place and take her on plenty of walks and give her lots of cuddles and affection. Dogs have hearts of gold and mini schnauzers are extra special imo. Take care of her and she’ll take care of you ❤.
Hi, thanks so much. Don't worry the crate only lasted 6/7 days and it's gone. I now have free movement, sleep in dad's bed and get lots of love and walks, which you can see in the short videos.

The bowl is for a huge dog. Get a smaller bowl and less food. Get the kibble for puppies. Would you give a steak to a baby? Pick her up. She wants to be held.

Ihad a mini schouzer for 16 years sadly passed a way I didn't know how to raise u im it wasn't going to be a cage I soon learned he was going to sleep with me I would wake up he would be under the covers at my feet till he got bolder and ended up beside me where he stayed 16 years i don't care cages and dogs in humane and should be punishable by law that dog of his didn't want to get food he wanted food yes he wanted companiansship

That food he's not for tiny puppies because her teeth are not so strong, and you should know that before taking her to your home.

As a Schnauzer owner myself, this is painful to watch! If this is your first puppy, a Schnauzer was a bad choice! Please so some research on how to raise a MS. What you're doing from food, to kennel, to overall treatment is WRONG!

I found this video very depressing. You’re obviously not a dog person sir. Crate training is fine BUT don’t put their water and food in the crate. She’s not a circus animal! Let her out of the crate to eat and to wander around. Put her food outside of the crate and take her outside as soon as she’s done eating so she can pee and poo. You shouldn’t be around animals. You’d better be good to her and learn quick how to live with a dog. I’ve never watched a video that upset me more than this one.
