    Amen, love me some Magnus!!!
This will be my 15th year on the four blade stinger. She has proven herself time and time again, from Wildebeest to eastern N.C. black bear, and way too many white tail to count.
I have failed to do my part at times, but the Stinger never! I do prefer to barely nock the tip down into more of a chisel tip, like Uncle Ted and Fred Bear did, in order to prevent the rare but occasional slight tip curl.
I thank the Lord that my late bow hunting mentor Tony Dukes turned me onto the Stinger, and for such a solid company that has helped to produce a lot of great memories, great trophies, and full bellies!
The absolute best off the shelf broad heads for the money period!
The 2 blade buzz cut is also an outstanding choice for lighter poundage bows, big game and hogs!
Super excited about another year with my Magnus heads!

100 grain Magnus Stinger 4 blades are what I currently and will continue to shoot as long as I can get my hands on em. Those paired up with my Easton FMJ arrows are a deadly combo for a 100% guaranteed pass through shot every time.
The no questions asked Magnus warranty is 100% legit as well. Last yr I sent them damaged broadheads (Pass through shots that buried themselves into creek gravel) along w/ a note of what happened and a few weeks later I had brand new broadheads waiting in my mailbox after work with no questions asked. Cannot beat that at all.

I love Magnus, they have the best warranty. I have tried the Black Hornet heads with longbows, recurves, compounds and crossbows. When shot at ground level I usually have to track down the arrows several yards behind where they were hit. When shot from up in a tree they are always sticking in the dirt. Remember, most of the animals we shoot at are not made of steel, concrete, plywood and on and on.

I will be shooting the 150 grain Stinger 4 blade this upcoming season. Looking forward to it. I have used a couple different Magnus heads with great success! The Snuffer is a great head as well!

Have 6 Stinger Buzzcuts on the way and just ordered three Stinger 4-blades as well and will test both and see which gives the best accuracy out of my KI Diesel X. I have faith in both, but it’s Magnus for me, all the way. Great video, thanks! 👍

This is the only brand I use I like the original stingers and the buzz cuts in 150 grain both are phenomenal broadheads and truly the best broadheads on the market, no other broadhead can even come close to competing with Magnus broadheads they're the best the proof is in the results

Love your broadheads especially the 2 blade 150 grain Stinger. Love your customer service. Love you are made on the USA. My only complaint is in would love to seed a Stinger in 200 grains and would love to see you guys dive into the single bevel world. With your reputation you would sell the crap out of them.

@@MagnusBroadheads I figured. I won't stop buying don't worry. I've been tempted many times to try single bevel and the Stinger just keeps sucking me back in.

@@MagnusBroadheads In TH-cam video tests, it looks like double bevels tend to penetrate deeper. Single bevel people claim they’re more durable and break bones better. For the vast majority of hunters, I don’t think we can go wrong with a double bevel. Thanks for your transparency and honesty.

Another very interesting video. I was intrigued by the steel lid, but more importantly, know many hunters who use, resharpen, and reuse these heads hunting. I use the Black Hornet ser Razors. Keep up the great work!!

Love my magnus stingers. Only one I’ve bent was shot into a hogs head. No way I’m claiming warranty on that. The hog dropped. Why did I shoot it in the head you ask? Cause that was the shot I had and I shoot every hog I get a shot on.

I love Magnus broadheads, they are well worth it. With the 150 Stingers, more often than not, the deer don’t even know they’ve been hit, and stay within 10yds.
As far as the video goes, I think the demonstration was irresponsible. I don’t care what kind of point that you’re trying to make, please don’t shoot hard projectiles at hard targets at close range. Not only is that unsafe for you, but this video might be enough to get someone else to try it, and there’s a reasonable chance that they’ll hurt themselves. I ask that you please redo this video ( b/c I love Magnus Broadheads ) in a safe manner.

  • @longdrawarcher4857
    @longdrawarcher4857 2 ปีที่แล้ว

I like magnus heads, but they are not very durable. I shot two deer last year with the stinger 2 blade out of my traverse, and both heads were junk afterwards. The broadhead did its job, and I’m not upset but to go through the rib cage only and stick in the dirt. And the ferrules were bent significantly. Like I said their a good head just not super durable. And I won’t use the warranty system you guys have for those two heads either, because they worked and them bending isn’t your responsibility to replace in my opinion. I think I would like the black hornet series better than the stinger, and can’t wait to get some of them. Also the comment about the tool steel being brittle is kinda ridiculous. Bishop makes the most durable heads on the market, and their made of a2 tool steel.

Awful ballsy shooting that thing a couple yards away with no eye/face/body protection. I'd be afraid of getting some kind of ricochet, especially as you said you've never done this before.

@@NewDayOutdoors A quick follow-up for what it's worth; after watching 3 or 4 videos I bought a pack of Stingers (100 grain 4 blade) for my crossbow. I took a doe and my son took a buck with one, double lung shot from 35 yards, the buck ran 50 yards and laid down and didn't get back up. Like them a TON better than the Grim Reaper mechanicals I started the season with (one didn't open and I was never able to find the deer). Thanks for the videos, made a difference for us this season.
