Thank you for using our broadheads we appreciate it. LIFETIME REPLACEMENT GUARANTEE. One thing also is 2024 will be our 40 th year making cut on contact broadheads. Thank you
Thank you so much for commenting! I have loved using Magnus Broadheads this year! I can’t wait for my new arrow build for 2024, Magnus will definitely be apart of it! I hope you enjoyed the video and I would love to work with Magnus in the future to continue to promote your amazing products!
Started bowhunting in 1991 at 12 yrs old. Shot Muzzys, early 2000s bows got quicker and Muzzys weren't very straight, so shot terrible groups. My Uncle gave me a set of 125 Magnus. I shot them and cut fletchings of my 2315s.... switched right there and never went away from them. I have converted a minimum of 50 guys to Magnus over 30 yrs. I cannot tell you the amount of animals we've piled up (mostly whitetail, few bear). I used one broadhead for 5 yrs, 5 buck. I retired it because I feared losing it. I have about 5 that I've damaged through the years that I REFUSE to have you guys replace. I do not mind giving you $40 every year or 2 just so you keep that guarantee for guys who need it. Just bought the single bevel yesterday for my daughters arrow build.... shot perfect as usual. I can not thank you guys enough for the memories you've given my group of friends and family. I will always support Magnus.
Can’t ever go wrong with Magnus! Made in America, one of the best warranties in the industry and awesome customer service! Magnus in my opinion is one of the best bang for your buck heads available.
Just remember this archers, mechanical broadheads were an answer to a Compound Bow problem, they were not an answer to a Broadhead problem. Fixed blade broadheads have worked better and will always work better than Mechanicals.
Shoot the same heads for my bow and my daughters crossbow. Just got a doe at 40. Broke a rib going in and out and split the leg bone and still went about 15 yards past the deer.
Logic and common sense shows reusable fixed blade are the best choice. Even some thin blade changeable blade heads can be resharpened fairly easily. For over 50 years I’ve used fixed blade heads from the Bear Razor to now the Magnus Black Hornets serrated with bleeder for the 5-6 years. Never failed me. I only shoot 62#’s with a 420 grain finished weight arrow with almost 13% foc. Not much FOC by heavy the heavy arrows crowd. Guessing 95% of my deer and antelope hits are pass thru hits. On pigs above 150#’s I usually don’t get pass thru but that’s ok because the lighted nocks help me find them lol. Enjoyed your video here. GOOD LUCK Mr. 👍👍👍👍👍👀👀
I loved shooting my exodus heads, however I really like how the magnus heads fly. Plus i wanted to get into shooting two blades for the single bevel, but i didn’t want to drop $$ big money and not like how they fly. Overall both are amazing heads in my opinion just up to you on what you prefer!
Welcome to the club. Been using them for 15 years. Blows through deer, bear and elk. Life time warranty. Take off your field points, put on the stinger and go hunting without re-tuning
70lbs draw 29.25” draw length 343ibo 34”a2a. Easton sonic 250 spine 30inch @9.6 gpi 50g insert 359g w/o 150g magnus stinger. 509g total 282 fps and 90 flbs of energy
Im looking to go heavy on my arrows as well these past few weeks I have been slowly buying stuff for heavier arrows. I ended up going sirius archery vulcans and havent shot them yet ... still waiting on parts to come. I am thinking about the stinger buzzcuts. I will be going down a rabbit hole for archery :)
I definitely gave heavy thought to the buzzcuts, I liked how small they were! Overall i just decided to go with the stingers because i thought it was closer size wise the to the ranch fairy broadheads. It’s what i would update to next! But i love shooting my heavy arrows they definitely PACK A PUNCH!
@@Take-emTv99 I spoke to Rf about it a while back around this time last year and he recommended me the buzzcuts because I am newer to the arrow tuning side and all that. I can see that they are closer to RF's. Yes they do. I think mine will be about 570 grains with a 16.25 foc.
@@its_sandman2778 NICE! Mine are alittle heavier how ever he is incredibly knowledgeable about everything bowhunting! I would definitely go off his recommendations!! But definitely let me know how the arrow build goes!!
@@Take-emTv99 I will keep you updated. Currently, waiting on parts to get here. got the shafts but waiting on inserts and fieldpoints for bare shaft tuning!
Hey guys I've shot Magnus for years I shoot buzz cuts and stingers in my recurves and compounds I'm using black hornets now in the compounds very tough heads if your bow is properly tuned they fly perfect
So far I am extremely impressed with Magnus. I definitely thought about shooting black hornets but I felt more comfortable with the stingers. However I am thinking about buying a set of the black hornets and putting them head to head with the stinger to see how they will perform!
I have been shooting a 370-grain arrow for well over 100 Big Game Kills including Moose, Elk, Deer, and Bear. I shoot the same Broadhead and have since 1986 or so. With that head, you just don't need the weight. Right now, I'm shooting 57 pounds 370-Grains at 275- FPS. I wouldn't give up the speed for the weight. There is way more to the game than what happens when the arrow hits them. We do want that to be the best it can be, but speed definitely helps us end up in the right spot.
Another major point so many have no idea to where to actually hit a deer for best results. Like a broadside from 20 ft. up or from a pop up blind. There’s no bone there. Learn the what “ bolar triangle” is and where. From a ground shot I do my best to aim slightly lower than where the lower third imaginary horizontal line is on the deer or antelope because nearly every deer will drop. On skittish deer I have even aimed at the bottom hairline on them because I knew they were going to drop. This is normally on 20 yard or less shots.
The qad head is a great head! And I have recommended it to many people! It is incredibly tough and sharp. However I really like the Magnus due to its shape and the overall build of it. I just trust it more if I hit a bone it’s gonna go through. But with the qad I fear that it could break a blade off and cause some issues. Overall I love both of them. They are great heads!
I shoot a Easton FMJ 5mm at a 350 spine, it’s 11.1 GPI and it’s 27.5 inches. The arrow is 305 for the arrow plus I shoot a 75 grain outsert and the broadheads are 125 grains. I’m not sure how much the 4 fletch arrow weight but overall that’s the build.
IMHO- 500-600gr with 16+% FOC should do you well. Unless you go to a 250lbs hog or a moose. My set up is about 525gr w/ 19.5% FOC and Ser Razors or Stingers. Only downfall is sharpening 8 sides per broadhead. But, as you said you can get them scary sharp with a stone & strop.Oh, I like RF too. Especially when he has Rocketman on. Those RADAR tests were stunning. Also, the Vital 'V'.
They're inexpensive, fly true, and will kill anything in NA. I've been using magnus since the mid 90's. That long head with the tanto tip will penetrate better. It's good to see people giving these BH's the advertisement they've always deserved.
You were sound good in the beginning. I think you need to go back and fix your technical comments. 650 is not a "super heavy" arrow. Heavy arrows do not "pull" through the animal. Other than the technical days that was incorrect. It was good that you mentioned the difference in laws from state to state related to broadheads.
I shoot Magnus Killer Bee ( serrated) 150 gr . Total arrow & Broadhead is 470 gr. Got 70 gr. Inserts will bump up to 540 gr. . Easton 300 spline arrow. Bear Species bow at 56lbs.
Definitely sounds like a tough set up! my arrow set up is right around 650 grains, and i shoot 75lbs draw. I love the kinetic energy a FOC arrow provides! Your arrow build sounds perfect for the weight you pull!!
People get caught up on how fast their bow shoots.... speed doesnt kill, not like a well placed heavy arrow shot. Take your time and take a proper shot, rather than rushing and shooting the first shot that you "think" you have.
Better learn to sharpen them.... I don't know what the hell is going on with them.. I just got Stinger Buzzcuts (150) for $23 pack... Yes, legit Magnus heads.
Thank you for using our broadheads we appreciate it. LIFETIME REPLACEMENT GUARANTEE. One thing also is 2024 will be our 40 th year making cut on contact broadheads. Thank you

Just started shooting Magnus buzzcuts they fly just like my field points

They have impressed me so much! I am definitely loving how well the fly and how easy they were to tune! And at $37 a pack you can beat it!
@@Take-emTv99 Lifetime warranty, so, $37 is it unless you loose the head.

Good choice going with Magnus. I've been rolling with the Magnus Blackhornet Ser Razor about 6 years now.. Vicious broadhead..
I love them so far!
Sharpened my buzzcuts on a standard stone in 5 min after shooting it 30-40 times into a target and twice in the dirt. Razor sharp
They are an amazing product!
Shoot the same heads for my bow and my daughters crossbow.
Just got a doe at 40. Broke a rib going in and out and split the leg bone and still went about 15 yards past the deer.

Have been really impressed with qad exodus swept heads. Im always tinkering as well, but keep putting the exodus back on when its go time.

Great sounding setup! Definitely would pack a punch!
So stoked to get mine Monday! 🔥🔥🔥
Best Broadheads on the market!

You won’t go wrong with magnus , I shoot light poundage bow , works great!!!
I got all 3 of those heads qda head is the best out all 3 and stronger it makes a nice hole Blood trail is good .

Black hornet ser razor. Thicker blade and slightly bigger.
what arrow configuration are you shooting with the magnus and how many grains of broadhead vs arrow?

My thoughts exactly! They definitely become my favorite broadheads i have have ever shot!

I shot a buck at 9 yards with the g5 and only one side deployed
Gotta switch over to magnus man!

THATS INSANE! and definitely something i need to learn! it was a very common complaint i came across. However you can get them razor sharp!
I thought you were going to cut yourself Glad you didn't. I shot a large zebra with that Stinger. Well done video
me too! Thank you!
