Do you recommend sharpening the blades before assembly?

My buddies in Indiana would say that buck still has milk on his breath. You hold out for 150 plus there.

Can I use these on a crossbow?? For some reason companies have crossbow versions but I think these would be fine.

How well do this work in a crossbow? Specifically an Excalibur Mag 340. They shoot a 16.5" bolt.

Would my son's 40# bow be enough to use with the bullhead?

Should changing out the replaceable blades change point of impact? I thought I was good to go, was hitting the dot every time from 15 yards and after 15 or 20 shots a blade broke. The other 2 were bent slightly so I replaced all 3. Now my point of impact is 5" to the left. I don't understand what is going on. Shooting a Parker Ultralight 31 at about 55 lbs.

I finally got a chance to try out the black hornet ser razor and I was impressed. I know blood trails are dependent on shot location and other things but this one left the easiest to follow trail I’ve followed other then in snow. I have other heads that I want to try but these were so effective it’s gonna be hard to have anything else in my quiver.

what if the new blade doesn't spin true?

I will be shooting the 150 grain Stinger 4 blade this upcoming season. Looking forward to it. I have used a couple different Magnus heads with great success! The Snuffer is a great head as well!

I got my first hog with a 125 grain magnus stinger with my bow just a couple days ago. She didn’t go 30 yards.

I agree. Even if you don't like Magnus heads, don't buy counterfeit junk from China.

I've been tuning my buddies Ravin R10 for him for the last 5 years. I would suggest you would benefit from two specific things. Double check your cam timing/cam lean. Then nock tune each bolt. Guaranteed those broadheads will group better with the field point. I do agree they will hit a bit low at a 100 yards because of the wind drag you just cannot eliminate, but I bet you can get them within 4" of that field point.

I realize this was 2 yrs ago, but saying you have half a dozen employees working there tells me I’m one-on-one with the folks making my hunting equipment. You can’t ask for anything better. I just got 2 pks of Stinger Buzzcuts today and have a pk of ‘regular’ Stinger 4-blades coming. I love knowing the people who are making or breaking my success are everyday folks like me. Have 6 Stinger Buzzcuts on the way and just ordered three Stinger 4-blades as well and will test both and see which gives the best accuracy out of my KI Diesel X. I have faith in both, but it’s Magnus for me, all the way. Great video, thanks! 👍

Outstanding broadheads

I have found that sharpening on sandpaper and films are totally different than the likes of diamond stones. Firstly the silicon carbide breakdown and oxides are rounder and they polish better secondly the way the diamonds are bonded on the stones they stand out more on the surface than coating on the film or paper backing. Shaving sharp is not what you want to cut meat or hide. Take a very polished shaving knife blade and run it lightly over a tomato skin and then a blade that's been on a say 2000 grit diamond stone, same pressure force. The diamond stone will cut deeper. Steak knives are a great example. They exist for this very reason on a larger scale, they are better at cutting meat than the exact same blade unserrated. We are hunters not shavers.

I absolutely love the black hornets for my compound, and the stingers for my recurve and longbow. Hands down my favorite I've used. Still shedding a few man tears about the yote that ran off with one of my black hornets. Still have no idea how I never found him. Pinned him to the ground right after blowing through the top of the of his front shoulders. Spun a couple time and ran off. Oddly enough, no blood, but a TON of white fluid. Almost looked like a pool was leaking. Oddest thing I've ever seen while hunting. I think that yote had clear blood 😂

You make a good product, I recommend the black hornet ser razor to everyone I hunt with or meet in camp etc.

Everybody keeps coming out with "bigger and better" every 6 months. I've used them all. Now I use only Magnus they never change , hit in the same spot as my field tips,and they always, always kill! Thanks guys for a awesome broadhead!!

Being just a tad cynical here- but if someone is too “ whatever?” to not know how to sharpen something as basic as a broadhead they probably shouldn’t be out hunting. It’s not rocket science at all. Well, maybe for some! lol
