@@lukas______ If apple can't do it nobody can. Even Zenfone are out of the small phone game. It will flop because as 15 people in the world that wants a small phone is not enough to be worth it for any company..
Just wondering if you say that apple and samsung have been recycling the same designs for the last few years? Because in my opinion the pixel design is improving and and changing year after year from the way the camera visor is made, the shape of the phone, and the screen shape has evolved from flat to curved back to curved and this is only the last 3 versions we're talking about! You can't say the same for apple or samsung.. Good video otherwise.
This is the most straightforward review I've seen online regarding cellphone comparisons. This video has actually helped me make up my mind about which handset to buy. Thank you for a great review without all the nonsensical fluff we find elsewhere on here.
Overall, the Pixel 8 Pro is my pick. Better uw cam, plus the 5x periscope telephoto cam. But, i really wish the Pixel 8 has Pro Mode on the camera app. Also, but phones have below average battery life. My flagship phones of 2023 are: the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and the iPhone 15 Pro Max. With additional mention to the Huawei Mate 50 Pro.
@@Criticalmaze it's also called Expert Mode. It is a feature in the default camera app that allows you to shoot in RAW/JPEG and can adjust or change the ISO, Exposure Value, White Balance, Focus, and Shutter speed.
My previous phone was a 6.7", I've now got the Pixel 8 and finding it feels too small. But I got it at such a good price, I couldn't justify going for the Pro for the bigger screen and camera zoom as rhe only 2 features I'd want from the Pro. Still, the Pixel 8 is ok, but not wow for the price bracket it's normally in.
I may have to get the pixel 8 As more affordable and I need a larger phone as I struggle with my eyesight but all the other large phones are waaayyy to expensive
Thanks for your comment, I was about to get the Pixel 8 until reading your comment and I checked, the Pixel 9 is coming out next week, I am going to get it next week.
Don't sell the LTPO tech a feature. It doesn't do anything itself for the user. The relevant point is whether battery life is any good, which I hear it is not on these phones 😕
I think getting the Pro is a better idea if you want to use it for years (both the vanilla and the Pro versions will have updates until 2030) because it will be relevant specs-wise for a long time and it looks like smartphones have reached a point where there are no new features (other than software ones) to be made. There will be no reason to buy a new phone if you have a Pixel 8 Pro.
I'm still rocking my Pixel 3 that I bought new I've had it for 5 years or so if you're like me and keep a phone till it breaks I guess I should opt for the more expensive pro since I plan on having it for a long time
@@mr.rotdog4244You should definitely consider this aspect , yes. If you're fine with a phone that you're used to and want to use it till it breaks it's definitely worth it to get the better phone. But , that doesn't mean the 8. The 7 pro is 300 $ now and it's 90% the same phone. Only the support won't be that long , but I doubt pixel 8 is gonna be supported that long. It's just a gimmick , like their camera photos backup thing back in the day.
I'm like you.@@mr.rotdog4244I just ordered the pro today because my one plus 6 is starting to do some goofy stuff and I didn't want to wait till it totally crashes. This one is 5.... Love one plus but I'm gonna go pixel and see how it goes.
I just ordered the pro... Google offered me 250.00 off either so I figured this would be the time to spring, 256 and it's cheaper than the 256 regular 8 price with no discount. I do some yt so the camera is a bit more important for me. I would've gotten the 8 if I didn't get that discount though.
Went for the 8 Pro. Honestly couldn't be happier. Always had the regular Pixel model never had a Pro Pixel phone. The size is a little bit too big and it gets warm a times, though much less frequently than the 7. Everything else is great.
Ok but how was the size of the 7? Because I have the 7 pro and thinking of getting the 8 purely because of the size and also since the 8 series has 7 years of support lol
Do a video conerning Pixel 8 & pro screen bump impressions caused by underlying components. Do a teardown to see if really needs to be addressed for google to recall. Currently have minimal bumps on mine
And in reality alot better camera, ltpo, brighter screen and in true useage better battery life plus more ram and larger screen . It is the better phone by more than u think
@@mackmccord3743 Probably Samsung the same company that Google gets it's chips, display, smartphone body from. I prefer the Pixel 8, primarily because of its smaller size. Easier to carry, feels faster to grasp or pocket.
the pixel 9 is supposedly coming two pro sizes
