Encore un magnifique épisode d'Andor, surtout visuellement cette fois! Même si comme d'habitude Nicholas Britell a parfaitement habillé l'image. Et puis les dialogues sont toujours aussi bien écrits et l'intensité est permanente. Très bel épisode!

Is this magnificent piece of music yours? Did you work on this? It’s such a genius and moving work, which takes me immediately to this gripping (anguishing) sequence. I would buy this soundtrack in a heartbeat.

His character surprised me at first but ended up as one of my favourites pretty quickly, rip!
@@JeremyBraunsMusic great actor... conveyed the excitement of a young revolutionary and the emphatic command to "CLIMB!" was a convincing delivery with the character's myriad of pain and urgency.
When he said ‘climb!’ He sounded just like K saying it to Cassian in Rogue One when he was dying. Dusty in here.
Tbh they all were, except Skeen. Gorn for the sheer risk in his role, Taramyn for trying to save Vel, Cinta for staying behind, Cassian for getting them out of there.
the background music and soundtrack of this show is superb; one can listen without the visuals, in an opera house.

Yeah. I kept getting Hans Zimmer vibes. Can he compose music for a Star Wars project?? He’d be a freaking natural at it.
Such a fucking fantastic episode. This show doesn't have the luxury of using fan favorite popular characters like Vader, Ahsoka, Obi Wan or Boba Fett to bring it popularity and viewership.
Instead, it has amazing soundtracks, beautiful cinematography, great dialogue and fantastic pacing and themes. I might be a Star Wars fan, but Andor would be one my favorite shows regardless. Fucking masterpiece so far.

Best Star Wars material since 1983. Ngl, this is better than the prequels, the sequels, all the streaming shows, better than even Return of the Jedi and approaching A New Hope level.
It does have the luxury if it wants it just doesn’t choose to. It stopped being a luxury ages ago under Filoni and faverau as that’s all their shows ever seem to be

Totally! I was afraid the build-up would lead to unmatched expectations but they absolutely nailed it!
My mother and I shared a tired sigh when we realized we were doing a heist plotline now. We were expecting some boring, predictable heist episode with all the typical beats, and boy howdy was it nice to be proven wrong. This episode was awesome.

I agree. The plot and characters are much better written and fleshed out here. I still love the Mandalorian but man there’s so many cameos and references to other Star Wars things and most episodes feel like side quests in a video game. Mando wants something people say yeah but first we need you to do this for us, so Mando goes and does it and he gets what he needs then moves on the next side quest.
@@heyiamnick4144 Personally I kinda like that vibe, what I didnt like tho is how often the people he met are the cameos and are made to be backdoor pilots to other shows. It makes the universe feel smaller

I would say YES. It doesnt have the flare or the eye catching, fan hypping looks of the main character, but overall, this show is just better written episode to episode, at least so far. Mandalorian may be more emotional and "fun", but this here is quality stroytelling served in a silver platter. I'm happy i finally see something star wars this well made, what a thing to remember.
Damn for Andor we needed this kind of music the rage raising inside, they are not super heroes, no super powers, just complex humans fighting for the cause they think right, they are true Rebels, what is more epic than that!!
Because of Andor.. I love Star Wars Rogue One even more!! My favorite Star Wars movie and one of my favorite movie of all time!!
If you watch the speech of Cassian to Jyn Erso in Yavin 4 base at Rogue One , it makes so much sense after watching Andor. This is a man who really had to give up something from his humanity , all his worldly possesions and family and make hard choices to survive and found a cause and seeks absolution
The producers Tony Gilroy and Dan Gilroy created their own Bourne character in shape of Andor in Star Wars and I am very glad for that

Good, but they didn't had to kill the hacker boy. His character was the only secondary well written alongside the girl leader. I love the music though.

Finally finding the time to catch up with my TV shows. This episode had me totally gripped, it was excellent from start to finish, such tension.

Pieces of the music remind me of pieces of Hans Zimmer's music from "The Dark Knight" score. Specifically from 0:32 - 1:40 and from 2:19 - 3:15 sounds like "Batman Begins" end credits. Definitely my favorite episode thus far and best piece of music from the series for me so far.

The scene reminded me so much 'Legends of the Lasat'. And I LOVE it.
But whereas "Journey Into the Star Cluster" felt very grand beautiful, "Escaping the Eye" here feels *adrenaline pumping!*

This episode was superb! This particular soundtrack makes this episode the greatest! Kudos to Andor series
Coming from a Mandalorian fan, Andor is becoming one of the best pieces of Star Wars content out there and it just might've beaten Mando slightly in my opinion, I did not expect this at all. The music, the story, the effects. The Mandalorian has the magic to it, but sometimes the budget isn't quite there, with Andor nothing feels cheap and fan-made like some scenes in the Mandolorian tend to be.
Cinematography of Kenobi is weak. It’s sad. With Andor everything feels real. You feel you can be in that world.
This show has an amazing soundtrack. Impressive recreation! :D
Man what an amazing sequince, an amazing episode, an amazing series so far. Exactly what ive been wanting from star wars.
Wish the kid survived. At least he lived on in his manifesto being passed on to andor. I am almost sertain it will come back in some way later in the story.
Cant wait to see where it goes from here, my guess is on more flashbacks.

I mean Luthen wasn't actually fully lying with this phrase to cover his involment. He is playing long game, he would be ok by failing such risky scenario. Atack on garrison would still serve its purpose of annoying Empire.

Yes, as a fellow mass effect fan I've been seeing other hints of it in places. When the cyberpunky music started playing in Ep7 i watched today i expected it to cut to a nightclub and had mass effect in mind. Some of the architecture too, uniforms and the way the politics is being brought to light all give me hints of ME.
Also thought that song from ep7 would be a nightclub/cantina track!

You can check out "Spitfire Audio Academy", they have plenty of tutorials on their site (the best ones if you're starting out are near the bottom of the page, called Orchestral Programming Day One, Two, Three)
The soundtrack of this show is really good. But it feels to me more like SF than Star Wars.
It's quite different from other SW soundtracks for sure, but so is the show I believe!
i recently heard a old piano/string composition that i thought was this but it does not match up. this tells me 2 things, not exactly "original" also that i need to keep looking :(

Andor's cool cause he kills imperials for his momma. The show gives people what they want, NEW STAR WARS. It's scifi and plot are taken serious, and lo and behold it's the best of the shows.
