Really enjoyed this episode 7 of Andor! It was pretty slow but the dialogues are so well written that I didn't even see the time pass! Also, we have to talk about the soundtrack at the end, I did NOT see that coming from Nicholas Britell! It felt a bit short so I wanted to extend, it, here it is! It's the same tune that plays when we first discover Niamos, as well as the nightclub track on Morlana One, in Episode 1.

Andor is still underrated. This show has to be one of the best Star Wars shows ever made. Even the episode without any action has so much tension.

Fantastic song. It manages to be like good old synth wave while maintaining a distinct alien “Starwarsy” sound. This is exactly what I’d expect to hear in a sci-fi club.❤

This track encapsulates how the show boldly takes a different, unique approach to Star Wars and totally kills it. Both are perfect examples of how diverse the Star Wars galaxy is in terms of storytelling and thematic approaches; from it’s genesis it’s always somehow perfectly synthesized a ton of different genres, stories, and ideas, something that truly makes the galaxy ripe for narrative and thematic variation and one of the reasons it will always be exciting.
You’re watching another episode of Andor and then BOOM it slaps you! The birds, the music, you watch full creds just to hear it. What a banger.

As soon as I heard this tune in this episode I immediately thought this is the natural successor to the legendary cantina theme. Has Star Wars party vibe music written all over it.
I can imagine this theme playing in an ad in the Star Wars galaxy. “Beautiful beaches, amazing resorts! Visit Niamos today!”

Holy Sh!t, Nicholas Britell is on roll with his music for Andor. He's now right up there alongside Kevin Kiner, Michael Giacchino, Ludwig Goransson, and Maestro John Williams.
All of whom have given a triumphant score and a unique sound to the Star Wars universe. 🎼🎵👌
John Powell did a great job on the "Solo" soundtrack as well.
And don’t forget Gary Numan!
I forgot to also add Joel McNeely who composed the music for "Shadows Of The Empire", the 1990's SW multi-media project launched by Lucasfilm comprising of a novel, a comic book, a video game and the aforementioned soundtrack. It was supposed to also be a movie, but once George started working on the Prequels, the movie project was abandoned.
Let's not forget John Powell. However you feel about Solo as a movie, the soundtrack was amazing.

I think it's a lot more noticeable here by the way they bring it in. And it fits the vibe those first Niamos glimpses a lot better than the dreary bar.

This show is so underrated. Everything about it is so amazing, of course there are some minor details that have issues but like for real this is the best show to come out since Mandalorian Season 1 (imo)

@@thescruffinator8830 thanks Yoda, I don't remember it probably because it wasn't at the front of the sound mix like it was in the recent episode. Glad I didn't find that vid, the key is different or they did a pitch shift causing the audio quality to be uhhh lackluster

This song is so cool. Radical, discordant, familiar and yet strange all at once. Perfectly fits the atmosphere of the episode/show.

I love how the visualizer to me, tells me exactly how the show is, notes sprinkled with intentional detail for us to take in, and the layers of it all for us to be grounded by it. Just as one song only to set the vibe and aesthetics of Niamos itself, to me this song is the perfect example of how to compose a song that not only fits, but belongs in the show it is made for.
even as a cover, this song does so much for the show than any other music in SW since the original and prequel trilogies.
