Thrawn's Introduction Theme OST (Ahsoka Episode 6 Music Cover) - Jeremy Brauns Music #ahsoka - เพลง
Now that was something ?! Were your expectations met regarding Thrawn's live action debut? Mine certainly were, hearing his voice all this time after Rebels gave me some serious chills!
Lars Mikkelsen crushed it in my opinion. His voice was perfect in Rebels, and now, in Ahsoka, he physically portrays Thrawn just as good - the mannerisms, his posture, all fits really well. I'm satisfied.
@@FindingTanalorr-bw4kpCalm, collected yet incredibly commanding. Lars' charisma is on another level
I cried when he spoke
Grand Admiral Thicc certainly didnt disappoint. All jokes aside tho. I do wish he got a lil slimmer aside from that i think hes perfect. Cant wait to see him on the big screen tho well have to drag our feet through the mud that Disney has in store for us between this and Daves movie.
I know shifting an animated to real life can lose some of the original design of that character...but Thrawn just feels...wrong here. Maybe its the shift and I'm not used to it yet....maybe it's just me. But I won't say seeing Thrawn back wasn't a good thing...glad to see the old fool still kicking
A villian so badass that they couldn’t change his actor from animated to live-action.
I've read the books with Lars's voice in mind the whole time, he plays him so well
He is not a villain, he is a hero for the greater good.
@@shril171 anti-hero, but in the plot he serves as an antagonist.
"a person or thing considered to be the cause of something bad: Fear is the villain that can sabotage our goals. villein."
in the show, he is a VILLAIN, with the whole "war is coming" talk.
@@shril171 NOPE. The means don't justify the ends - thats the point of his character.
He could serve the New Republic and reform their military, he could've aided the rebellion, but he genuinely believes fascism and oppression are the only path to total victory. That makes him a villain.
@@forrestpenrod2294 did you read the books? sounds like you didn't read the books.
"THRAWN! THRAWN! THRAWN!"
THRAWN THRAWN THRAWN
THRAWN! THRAWN! THRAWN!!!!
THRAWN! THRAWN! THRAWN! THRAWN!
THRAWN THRAWN THRAWN THRAWN THRAWN THRAWN
THRAWN! THRAWN! THRAWN! THRAWN! THRAWN! THRAWN! THRAWN! THRAWN! THRAWN!
"What was first just a dream has become a frightening reality for those who may oppose us."
The delivery of this line was incredible
When I heard this line, I cried like a little bitch)
His next line should be i am the heir of the empire, and my return is inevitable
Strong words from the man with 1 broken ship, a small group of stormtroopers in repaired armor, 4 witches, and 2 jedi. This small resources against a galaxy. And the galaxy must cry in terror, because this man can do everything, that he promised to his people.
@@user-is9gw8vq5i 0 lore knowledge
I have a feeling fans will chant Thrawn to Lars Mikkelsen on the next celebration 😅👍👍
Thrawn and Galen Erso are bro's in real life
Amusing , it is 😂
@@Elena-ce8ek now we just need a rogue one prequel so they can meet haha
@@TheStormingmonkey that would be EPIC 😊😊
Oh I guarantee it. It’ll be like people chanting one way out to Andy Circus. What a freaking legend Thrawn is.
@@TheStormingmonkeyI'm just gonna say this would watch that movie
"I'm not looking for glory, only results." -Thrawn.
A very Thrawnian quote!
Correction the full quote is: i do not require glory only results for my emperor
Pretty much why I call Thrawn The Walking and Living Sun Tzu of the Star Wars Galaxy.
And the results are glorious
I don't even care if Lars physically isn't a perfect match for live action Thrawn..... his voice is just so perfect
For a 68 year old Thrawn, keeping in mind Chiss age about the same as humans, he's dead on.
Not just that, but mannerism and behavior! He got the character completely right.
I honestly wouldn't have given his looks a second thought. He's been living in exile all these years and is almost 70 years old by this point
considering almost every character's animated version looks very different from their Live Action counterpart biggest example is Count Dooku, whose Animated head is taller and skinner then Christopher Lee's head) asking for Live Action Thrawn to look like his animated version is not gonna happen
I mean if you are stranded on a planet for multiple years, I think you are going to put some weight on.
"To defeat an enemy, you must know them. Not simply their battle tactics, but their history, philosophy, art."
All these years later I still get Goosebumps from that Trailer.
"THRAWN! THRAWN! THRAWN!"Those chants alone tells you that Thrawn’s troopers, have love and respect for him
Assuming they're actually alive. What's the way they're banded together in red like the night sisters there's some theory that they may not actually be alive and that they've been resurrected with the night sisters magic
@@RabidNemo I have a theory that it’s a combination of three aspects. One is that some of them are original crew members of the chimera that are still alive. Two Some are resurrected by night sister magic, and three, since I can hear some of them chanting. In an alien language, perhaps thrawn recruited some nomads from the planet. into his army that’s my theory at least. Might be wrong.🤷🏻♂️
@@larrylindgren215 I didn’t think about recruiting aliens, interesting thought.
@@user-ud6ru4gu4e Thrawn might seen a good reason for it though, I never thought about it because the empire is xenophobic as hell, but Thrawn isn’t because he isn’t human and his men have such devotion to him they likely won’t question it.
@@user-ud6ru4gu4e That was my first thought while seeing them
When that organ hit, it was like an out of body experience in my living room
Chills man, chills
It was great because as my soul was leaving my body, all I could think was that so many other people were having the exact same reaction at the same time lol
I like underlying militaristic motif running through. Thrawn is is cool, cold, calculating, and efficient. And he trains his troops to do the same.
I love the imperial march but this shit just strikes more fear into you..
"Everything Leading Up To This Moment Has Been Rehearsal. The Real Performance Is About To Begin."
- Grand Admiral Thrawn
"But it was so artistically done."
That just gave me chills. I know where that’s from. But it’s also true in this case.
Thrawn is the one villain you don't want to mess with. And I'm glad he's back!
Ahsoka was becoming a snore fest until the last two episodes.
@@movienerd202 agreed
Almost got Apocalypse Now vibes from this. The way the stormtroopers are dressed remind me of Col. Kurtz’ ragtag group.
I mean he the dude that single handedly almost beat the whole new republic
Indeed! I thought the same thing when I saw this scene! Like, these guys are not typical imperials anymore!
ahh yeah very very nice reference. What's scary is that Thrawn's ST are most likely "Spirit Troopers" or EU's "Death Troopers". Zombie or re-animated troops created by the Night Sisters.
All that’s missing is random corpses littering the floor of the Star destroyer.
It would be cool if Timothy Zahn wrote a story in the line of that idea, With Thrawn trying to irk out an exitance in a hostile and desolate land with supernatural forces menacing him and his ragtag forces and managing to make himself into a warlord with his meager recourses. Seeing Thrawn the Survivalist from legends would be awesome.
Say what you will about Ahsoka, but the Empire of the Hand is looking pretty decently terrifying. Undead Stormtroopers, Enoch the cyborg Captain of the Guard, their supernatural Allie’s, and a Tactical Admiral that is actually competent.
There are people genuinely not liking Ahsoka?
You know any good Bounty Hunters for hiring?
@@shriekingskeleton The show is not anywhere near as bad as Mando S3 but it's not really good either.
Just your opinion and those other peoples opinions. I am rather enjoying it regardless @@TK--hf6db
@@Henbot You can enjoy it and still acknowledge it's of low quality. Hell the low viewership and list of writing flaws each episode have to be saying something.
@@TK--hf6dbWhere's the low viewership?
This Thrawn introduction had an impact similar to Dune’s Sardaukar introduction scene
Agreed
My words
Stormtroopers are basically the Sardaukar of SW, but now they have leader who is truly worth of them, unlike the last one.
Now with a leader that they would follow without question and near fanatical loyalty
TFW your troops can't aim, so you go to salusa for melee training.
For a decade.
They had no reason to go harder than the imperial march but I am so glad they did for him.
Thrawn is the only villain I have legitimately feared in the Disney Star Wars era. Sh*t is about to get real 😈
*MAD REAL!*
You really think Kathleen Kennedy is going to let a character like Thrawn live up to it's full potential? I got a bridge in New Mexico to sale you
I love his theme, it’s super unique.
It gives that “super intelligent” kind of feeling to this character.
Evil kind of smart.
This music makes me want to swear allegiance to Thrawn
Me too 😊
Yes!!!!
Thrawn Night troopers are just like one of those old mythological Roman legions.
One of those who seems came out from the sands of eastern deserts even if they was supposed to be destroyed centuries ago, but the soldiers are still marching on.
We need a thrawn chant on loop
This theme sounds like the original theme from rebels missing some notes. Which is very fitting imho with the visual, Thrawn isnt at his height at the moment, he is beaten down, his ship is barely holding together and his soldiers are probably undead. But he is still menacing and very very dangerous.
I would think that once he gets up and running we will hear his full theme again (as we already heared fainted hints of in the previous episodes everytime his name was dropped).
The soundtrack in this show is honestly the biggest surprise it’s cool to hear a good soundtrack for star wars again, a story that should not ever lack in that area
LONG LIVE THE GRAND ADMIRAL OF THE EMPIRE!
The heir to the Empire will take he's rightful place in the galaxy!
Thrawn: Ahsoka?
You mean THRAWN: Heir to the Empire?
Step back, jedi. This is my show now
I love the implications of the track even more than seeing Thrawn again. He's back and he has learned many perspectives never considered before. A new theme, for a new Thrawn.
Right. And that in turn makes him even more dangerous. The New Republic doesn't stand a chance.
Grand Admiral Thrawn dressing sharply as ever.
THRAWWWWWNNNNN!!! Read all the books, one of my favorite characters. This is just awesome
"You gamble the fate of your galaxy for that hope"
He’s the model naval officer:
-intelligent and inquisitive in general
-tactically, operationally, and strategically brilliant
-polite gentleman
-uniform always on point
The heir to the empire has returned
“What was first just a dream has now become a frightening reality for those who may oppose us.”
This man will be the reason we get the FO and I'm all here for it.
Great music for a great character
Long live the empire. Long live the chiss ascendency. Long live grand Admiral Thrawn, heir to the empire!

"Today, victory is mine..." - Grand Admiral Thrawn
Man this was one epic menacing entrance. We haven’t gotten something on that scale in a long time if ever. And the chanting of Thrawn’s name. But if anyone deserves an entrance on the level of Bader and Palps it’s him.
Can you imagine. After that entrance, Thrawn walks across the bridge and says.
"Perfect timing. We had just run out of toilet paper."
Cracked a laugh at that one, I won't lie. 😂
''What was first just a dream has become a frightening reality for those who may oppose us''.
To defeat an enemy you must know them, not simply their battle tactics but their history, philosophy, art
-Grand admiral Thrawn
Just seeing the Chimaera sent a shiver down my spine. A viewer, knowing it couldn't harm me in any way. Now imagine a rebel seeing it.
THRAWN! THRAWN THRAWN THRAWN THRAWN THRAWN THRAWN THRAWN
Im in a war rp rn. I have been nicknamed “thrawn” multiple times. This song courses through my veins
This is what Imperial remanant should be. In weared armor trying keeping together last empire tech they have.
"I study the art of war, work to perfect it."
If Sun Tsu's work was a person, it would be Thrawn. The Art of War.
"Who deserves what is irrelevant. What matters is...who. Has. Power."
I absolutely love this theme its 100% in my top5 SW Themes
Glad your basically cover for Samuel Kim for this. Lord knows what's going on with him.
Also Thrawn's reintroduction theme is exactly how I envisioned it.
Such an epic entrance, the Grand Admiral in all his glory.
LONG LIVE THE EMPIRE.
Very nice arrangement! The organ was used in Rebels as well. It also reminds me of Hans Zimmer, Interstellar. The organ has a religious feel. Like the there is a higher power involved.
Today the victory is mine. Long live the empire!
THRAWN! THRAWN! THRAWN! THRAWN! THRAWN! THRAWN!..
This topic just gives you goosebumps. The actor is extremely well chosen for this role
Long live Thrawn 🤟
This would make one heck of a cool marching song. It's as if all the drumbeats are in perfect sync with Thrawn's movements in the episode when he enters
Best scene in all of Star wars
They lived so long on an unknown Planet and Thrawn is so badass, that manages to control his army and they are still loyal to him. What an 🐐 Villain. THRAWN! THRAWN! THRAWN!
THRAWN THRAWN THRAWN!!!
I have a feeling that the Imperial Remnant is going to be far more deadlier with Thrawn.
I dont even care that he has a bit of a belly, I mean being stranded for years will do that to you, but his hair, his manners, and his most defining feature, his jawline, is on point.
The music is beyond amazing
I really like the use of the rests; they make the song sound incredibly epic and powerful
Return of the king
This is the coolest Star Wars villain theme since we first heard Darth Vader’s Imperial March in Empire Strikes Back, and suitable as Thrawn is the coolest, most calculating imperial officer villain since Tarkin.
It's so artistically done..
All hail Thrawn, the Sun Tzu of Star Wars and Heir to the Empire.
The Galactic Empire left the game.
The New Republic joined the game.
Years later...
Grand Admiral Thrawn joined the game.
Also The New Republic: Shit...
The New Republic left the game.
This is going to be my wedding intro song for church.
Cheers to my boy thrawn.
This sounds so... monstrous... almost like a Frankenstein movie soundtrack..
The Night Troopers are reanimated dead brought back by the Nightsisters...
So Frankensteinnesque sountrack like this is perfect when you see the rows of zombie troops.
It reminds me of the Orc captain encounters in Shadow of Mordor.
Epic
A theme so epic because not even words can describe Thrawn’s genius
I'm pretty sure Thrawn has a pipe organ in that hangar which would be incredibly cool
This day has been long forthcoming. Thrawn has returned and he will have his vengeance.
This theme gives you goosebumps!
It would be so much better if the Stromtroopers were *not* clones but really the same Stormtroopers he had with him when Ezra sent him to the unknown regions. Imagine Thrawn being SO smart, durable and tactically able to just keep 90% of his crew alive despite basically being sent to Australia before it was uncovered.
BRO EVEN PULLS UP WITH THE SAME F*CKING STAR DESTROYER!!! Like huh?! Bro kept the Early Game Inventory! 💀
They're not gonna be clones but I'm betting you that they're undead
I guarantee those are the same troopers that got sent to hyperspace
@@snowbound4913 well yeah, but question is how many survived that
Thrawn is, in my OPINION, if you made Sherlock Holmes one of the joint chiefs of staff.
He's Moriarty who was Holmes' intellectual equal.
We all know a massive battle is coming The New Republic in it's current state will not be prepared for Thrawn's grand return
It gave me chills when Thrawn appeared and the tropers and played this Soundtrack in the background, it's impressive. If Thrawn manages to recover his empire, he surely will. It would be even darker and more evil than Palpatine's reign, plus he has the support of the Nightsisters. This is going to be spectacular 😎😎
The funny thing is, Thrawn's Empire of the Hand was actually probably the "best" of the Empires. It had aliens in their ranks, and seemed to honor the actual ideals of the Empire rather than Palpatine's selfish desires.
@@Amann0407 to go alongside that, Thrawn's power lies not in his evil but his dedication to order. It is said that he always sought to work with/through the empire as a means of preparing for the arrival of the Yuuzhan Vong. Thrawn isn't a selfish power hungry monarch, as you noted; he's a soldier seeking security and stability in uncertain times and in a way, that makes him far more terrifying.
@@mr.badwolf7356 Thus why it shall be even more evil and darker then palpatines empire, Thrawn does not have the resources or the means for a "Good" order, not like the empire of the hand. He has the nightsisters and an army of maybe the dead. Meanwhile the empire has fallen to dust in all but the most loyal areas of the galaxy. Any good will the fanatics might of had burnt by operation cinder. Thrawn has a lot of work cut out for him.
We had to be so greatuful on Dave Filoni he give us a AMAZING show to all fans of Star Wars a big dose of happiness, this dude is a maestro he is the chosen one of lucasfilm
I was hoping theyd use the rebels theme but this is good as well. The organ suits his character well. Menacing and complex.
"The Empire plays Chess while the Rebellion plays Checkers. But Thrawn, he plays a totally different game that only he knows the rules too."
-A wise man
I don't like imperials but him? Terrifying ,brilliant and genius.
GROND GROND GROND
Had Palpatine listen to the advice of Thrawn, the rebels who have never even joined together😅
Had Thrawn been around for The Battle of Yavin & on: Things would be a lot different. Starting with the Empire thriving under the Grand Admiral taking a higher rank and absolutely crushing all hope for rebellion.
*"Still, he has arrived and it was magnificently terrifying"*
One of the greatest scenes in cinematic history
You turned this around so f***ing quickly
The music is great for this return. Lars Mikkelsen il excellent
Loved his performance as well!
" LONG LIVE THE EMPIRE! "
Lars is what Conroy was for Batman, what Hamill was for Joker and Luke, what Daly was for Superman, what Guinness and what Ewan was for Obi-wan, what Hayden was for Anakin. We read Thrawn, we hear Lars. He’s the character now. An icon.
These may be my favourite storm trooper variants, they striaght up look like Roman gladiators, and my friend is a big fan of their culture.
What I like about this theme is that makes him come of as both heroic and villainess at the same time!
This feels like napoleon Bonaparte returning after his banishment
What was just a dream has become a frightening reality for those who would appose us
Love the military drumming
1:14 "What was first just a dream has become a frightening reality for those who may oppose us..."
I haven’t gotten vibes this good from a soundtrack since tron legacy
I miss his original theme, “Thrawn’s web,” but I’m glad they kept organ elements. This is definitely still a theme worthy of him, though!
