Drake hasn't been a "rapper" for a while, maybe ever. He came to prominence as an RnB artist mixed with delivery style of rap. Over time, as he tried to plant himself in American culture, he morphed into a "softened" version of a rapper. Whereas conventional rappers use rap as a medium to channel darker aspect of reality in music form (racism, gangster violence, domestic abuse), he is *emulating* those characteristics. So he is by definition a highly engineered product of the music industry, something more acceptable to sell as regulation agencies caught on in the "Aftermath" of gangsta rap genre. This deconstruction and filtering of gangsta rap made it much easier to sell to teenagers, without all the baggage of controversies it generated in the 90s.
It was all a pretense, trying to seem tough, acting like he "reps" "his people" in the ghettos of America...while being a Canadian. He NEEDS ghost writers, he has no idea how else to relate/sell records. Kendrick hit him hard on this point and before all the pedo allegations, that was Kendrick's main gripe against Drake.
It's pointless to even debate "who won" in Kendrick vs Drake beef, when they are not even in the same "profession". Kendrick might not be a "professional gangsta", but he at least understands the culture in which rap evolved and became the massive industry it is now. Drake is more of suburban family's idea of what a rapper "should be", a manageable "tough guy".

The Pulitzer really tells you all you need to know. It's fully deserved. Kendrick's lyrics are so complex that an hour-long video is sometimes not enough to analyze a 5 minute song with all its metaphors and symbolism. Even just the number "6.16" has like half a dozen meanings ranging from pracical to mystical, the latter of which comments on both Kendrick and the beef as a whole. I'd give anything to hear his thought process as he's writing, because his mind is something else. Not all music needs to be so multi-layered that you need a degree to analyze it, even Kendrick admitted he likes Drake's casual songs. But saying the two are equal in depth or skill required just shows that you're either delusional, or don't understand poetry and art.

Unlike other genres the main skill in hip-hop is lyricism! Using ghost writers in hip-hop specifically ruins the art bc it isn't your skill on display. This is why ppl respect freestyling, it's a display of your wit and wordplay.

The next line is where Kendrick names this alleged Ghost writer, BEAM and when it comes to someone else writing your material I think it needs to be judged on oh much it effects your legacy? Drake wasn't the first nor the last to use writers or be a writer but does this impact his legacy?

I think it depends. If we're judging based on a scale of disses, then I think drake would still be in charge of coming up wit those topics. But if it's about lyrical genius and the flow and skill of the lyrics, then I don't think it's a fair fight. But I'm pretty sure kendrick still won lol. So without a doubt Kendrick absolutely merc'd drake and there is a whole host of reasons you can make fun of or dislike drake for but I actually really am not a fan of Kendrick calling Drake a predator. I mean if Kendrick has receipts thats one thing and I absolutely hate pedophiles and predators that take advantage of young kids, they are literally some of the worst people on the planet. But I genuinely believe that Drake reaching out to some of the younger stars blowing up was out of a desire to protect them. People always seem to forget Drake grew up as a child star and probably witnessed all sorts of heinous shit that predators were doing to desprate kids hoping to make it big and are naive enough to think most people are there to help instead of use them. I mean we haven't heard one person come out and say he behaved inappropriately and there are plenty of other examples of older guys trying to protect kids. Justin Bieber is another one who (for a long time I really disliked as a person) but he went through all sorts of abuse and cohersion while being force fed drugs and when Billy Eilish was blowing up he went out of his way to help protect her from all of the horrible shit he went through as a huge star in his early teens and 20s.. Maybe im the one who's naive and he was a predator but im really hoping that he was trying to help protect people and not use them.

While I appreciate all you wrote, all of that is a best case scenario speculation. I’m sure you know an alternative case could easily be made that is devious and tracks with his numerous questionable relationship with girls-forming relationships with underaged girls then dating them as soon as they turn 18? Drake is on record, in 4k telling a 17 year old that he enjoyed how her breasts felt AFTER she just told him she was 17. This is a rap beef, so I don’t put much stock in the veracity of the lines because it comes with the format,.
