Yup. Dude's clearly been a creepy piece of shit for ages, and his dumbass fans just keep denying that shit, and defending him. Like, how does somebody have so little self respect that they defend a rich pedo?
There is a reason why even Eminem said he wouldn’t diss Kendrick and why so many rappers backed out from beefing with him his skills and having a whole city right behind him is a lot more than faking being a mob boss without respect and the skills to back it up you shouldn’t even try
Kendrick was really hitting his stride with “meet the grahams” and “Not like us”. Meanwhile, drake is struggling with so much creativity that the most cleaver comeback he could make was the title of trying to mess with Kwndricks future album releases by using “The hear pt.6” first. Idk, how he thought that woulf work out for him, bur I truly don’t think the average person can comprehend how delusional he was even before the beef. Also, Kendrick definitely has the ability to drop club bangers when he feels like it, but doesn’t want to. Every non pop music feature he does is abnger largely because of him, He just loves that everyone knows the words to his hits and when performing it’s clear he loves that they can recite his words on tracks like “MAAD City”, “I”, “Money Trees”, “Humble”, etc. And loves that his world view is understood better by them being so prevalent when released and unique enough to still be remembered word for word. That takes intentional effort to limit yourself to the best lyrical content and the best energy he can offer the world. Meanwhile drake hasn’t been honest to himself on record since, in a self fully prophecy, “If you’re reading this it’s too late”. Which I interpreted as him saying he wasn’t the conflicted kid capable of self reflection he was when he was first introduced to the world. And since the. he has been living his fantasy life while being an increasingly lazy artist. Idk how you go from self aware to being what you feared so readily without being a little bit of a selfish asshole or maybe just a psychopath disconnected from his own life, music, fans, and self. Kendricn had a different trajectory becoming cery self critical and seemingly obsesively thoughtful. Which I think shows how much Drake took truly easy path “from the bottom” for granted whereas Kendrick may have tried, but when you’re not financially stable, you don’t have time to reflect on much other money. I think this is the thing Kendrick attempted to describe on Euphoria in multiple different ways, but ultimately couldn’t explain it other than saying I just hate you for some reason. I only see that because I’ve had it both easy and hard for periods of my life, and to Kendrick wheathet or not he realizes it, imo looks like his steuggles wrre ultimately worthwhile when he gets a massive crowd to diacribe his adolescence or just say I love myself. I haven’t witnessed anyone wbo has the reverence for their own music that Kendrick does and it’s obvious when you see him live and has been since Section.80 released. And I don’t think he even allows himself to feel like he respects himself so deeply, but I think after thourough examination of himself compared to Drake and during the Juneteenth show, he allowed himself to feel as proud of his own achievements as he always has been when plying “MAAD city” or “King Kunta” like 5 times. I thinkk it shows that he wouldn’t have released any of these diss tracks unless he actively saw that people shouldn’t be looking up to drake and decided to make the change happen.
Sorry for the long post and placement, didn’t plan it, but I just kept connecting different thoughts I had previously about each artist separate from the beef to this situation and the psychological phenomena Ive seen in myself that resemble(d) each artist to some extent. For Kendrick I truly think having an audience adds pressure for him but as drake got increasingly lazy with his released stopped putting any pressure on himself and got quite noticeably worse. “If you’re reading this it’s too late” shouldn’ve prevented his life today, but instead he was praised for his ability to not cling to his pain, meanwhile Kendrick just cant stop analyzing his path in life as his own perspectives change. The irony is that as K-dot wanted to be Wayne and Drizzy got warned to stay himself by Wayne, each ultimately being the other’s past self’s ideal for how the world views them. Symmetrical paths based on their love for a man who believed in both of their artistic merits early. Intersecting briefly for a single song that was largely forgotten, “Poetic Justice” which was the first song by Kendrick that charted iirc
Sorry didn’t realize how much I had ready to explain to myself, to anyone who wants to read an analysis of each person as people and how it informed their music. think the ideas are solid, despite not editing them, or having realized the value of my perspective as a fan of each at one point with easy times and struggles growing up and how that illustrates a picture of 2 people who are truly opposite in so many ways
I thought he did stuff with sexxy red before, that’s why Kendrick made the line. Idk but between that, the mr morale line, and drake being in Turks after meet the grahams, Kendrick read him like a novel 😂
At the end of the heart part 6 when Drake said "this was good exercise" and "its good to get the pen working" just made it sound like he hasn't been writing in awhile despite releasing a bunch of music. He unknowingly gave more credence to the ghost writer accusations.
@@kant5696 Twice a year in his new contract!! I swear, Drake’s plan was to stop paying ghostwriters and switch to ChatGPT before Metro and Kenny lined him up 🫠
Exactly what I thought when I heard it. What’s crazy is I could definitely tell he wrote Heart Part 6 because it sounds like old Drake and it’s very basic compared to the rest of the stuff he dropped.

The bar about Kendrick being SA’d, while being outed as a predator, and to even get it wrong is so bad. @@lydiaboll2872 in Kendrick’s song Mother I Sober, he talks about how his family was convinced he’d been SAd by a relative when he was a kid, but it wasn’t true. His mother was the hardest to convince because she had been SAd as a child. Drake clearly didn’t listen to the song to understand it, and during The Heart Part 6 made an awful reference to Kendrick being SAd “mother I- that’s that one record where you say you got molested” - NOT true at all!

Drake stans was tired of the beef because Drake was getting absolutely WASHED. He lost the battle with Meet the Grahams then lost the war with Not Like Us. Kendrick fr rapped circles around him and Drake stans wanted the slaughter to stop 🤣
Kendrick didn't win by rapping circles around Drake, they both came with bars. Kendrick won by heavily out strategizing Drake from the different types of records he released, and the timing and frequency at which he released them.
@@ledah0012that’s what I was saying!! I'm a 31-year-old white metal vocalist who has had a passing interest in rap music at certain intervals in my life. As a kid I was pretty much all into Southern rap music but then metal hit me pretty hard and since then I've been going in waves. This Kendrick beef brought me back into rap music really really strongly. I'm getting back into all sorts of hip hop and even getting into the history of other beefs. I can't believe I never recognized how entertaining the background stories to all this music is. Obviously the Kendrick Drake beef is pretty unique but there's been beefs for years that I've not known about but we're a big deal when they happened. Essentially a lot of good has come out of this beef for me in the form of entertainment and lessons I didn't realize I could get from this space. I feel like we're watching a Shakespearean drama play out.
In his song, Lytskin he admits he wrote it. That’s been out for a few years. He only recently denied it and most likely because he got threatened with a lawsuit.
The way Kendrick Lamar uses his voice is absolutely magical and electrifying. The entire Dear Aubrey section in Meet the Grahams transports me down my spine, out my body, and into the ghost realm so I can attend a Christmas Carol level reckoning. Rediscovering Kendrick by being smacked (1-2-3-4-5+5) in the face with his brilliance might be the best thing that's happened to me this year. Listening to U hits so different post-D.R.A.K.E. (don't rap against Kendrick ever).
100% agree that Kendrick's songs get better and better over time and Drake's songs have the opposite effect. I found myself going back to Euphoria the most, more so than Not Like Us
The craziest thing i keep remembering about this beef is that kendrick really did come into this fully prepared to battle Drake & Cole at the same time. Thats kinda wild ngl
no he didn't, even his verse on like that is almost entirely focused on Drake with a couple jabs for Cole. Same reason why Q told Cole to back out of the beef in the first place. Kendrick and Drake genuinely have issues, he doesn't have any problems with Cole, it was Drake's head he was after.
@@anthonyvibe1709 he didn't 'have jabs' for both, he dropped a couple light disses Cole's way for mentioning him on FPS and the ENTIRE rest of the verse is him dissing Drake and talking about burying him... Not even remotely the same.
@@ledah0012 regardless of whether it’s a “jab” or a threat to bury doesn’t matter. Mentioning both their names provokes a possible response from both. Which it did get a response from both. You tryn too hard to be a contrarian. Even if Q went to tell Cole it not a problem there’s no guarantee cole listens. Kendrick and Cole had been trading subs for years. Kendrick knew what could’ve happened by mentioning both.
@@anthonyvibe1709 You're ignoring several key aspects that make all the difference. Kendrick himself said this is not about whos the best, its about how much he hates Drake, and wants him out of the convo. Him and Cole don't have personal issues, with them its just competition. We can clearly see this by what Cole said in his apology. Then you have Q telling Cole to step back because these two have actual issues, and its clear to see that Kendrick was never after Cole. He sent some light shots Coles way, the same way Cole sent some light shots his way on FPS, literally just competition.
"I hate the way you walk, the way you talk, the way you dress" that was a light jab? Fr? Most rappers (if they werent international POP stars) woulda crumbled from tht alone. Every bar was an attack meanwhile Drake was like "haha your short haha"
Quick correction many real hip hop heads had Meek taking down Drake before it went the way it did, And realistically Meek is and was a better lyricst. He allowed Drake to preasure him into Dropping early while Meek was still on tour. Fast foward to today Drake didnt respond to Kendrick for 20 days but used tour as an excuse. Now that the enchanted popularity armor is off we should go back and reanalize events and put them in proper context. Meek didnt lose to Drake, he lost to Daylight. Ironically after exposing Drake for a ghost writer /song maker in Quinten Miller.
This whole comment is why I'm so confused on how everyone suddenly turned on drake this time...everybody likes Kendrick that much more than meek apparently
@@jaahnnnSweetie, the rest of us don’t need a celebrity to worship like y’all do. I can acknowledge that Drake is a parasite to our culture and not ‘stan’ Kendrick (or ANY other entertainer) 💀 Stop worshiping false idols, my guy
Meek won lyrically, but lost the popularity contest. Just like Nas beat Jay-Z when it comes to raps, but lost when it comes to business and being relevant. The audience is often very stupid, specifically brainwashed fanboys and fangirls.

Bruh, ADHD, Swimming Pools, Maad City, King Kunta, Alright, and Humble all slap harder than every Drake track and also sound good on an album, which Drake can't say at all. Half of his only passable album is stolen Weeknd tracks.
Everyone likes the main quotables but my tops are “Keep making me dance waving my hands and it won’t be no threat” and the one I say AT LEAST ONCE A DAY TO MYSELF “Sometimes you gotta pop out and show niggas” 🔥🔥🔥
That’s in my top 3 “And Baka got a weird case, why is he around” “Headshots for the year, you better walk around like Daft Punk” “I even hate the way you say nigga, some shit just cringeworthy, it ain’t even gotta be deep I guess”
"Let me see if Chubbs really crash somethin'. My first one, like my last one. It's a classic, you don't have one. Let your core audience stomach that, then tell em where you get your abs from. V12 it's a fast one. Bow, bow, bow, last one. Headshot for the year, you better walk around like Daft Punk." "Yachty can't give you no swag neither, I don't give a fuck about who ya hang wit." "Wop, wop, wop, wop, Dot fuck im up. Wop, wop, wop, wop, Imma do my stuff."
The funny thing to me is seeing someone named ImJustSaiyan not describing Kendrick's side of this battle like its Dragon Ball. The first track "Euphoria" was like when Trunks just showed up and bodied Freiza and then saying, "be warned something more sinister is on its way". Then "6:16 in LA" was where everyone prepared themselves "to go to war" and finding out about 19 and Gero only to realize they weren't the real threat but a precursor to the actual threat which is 17 and 18. Meet the Grahams was the sinister introduction of Cell, and the track progresses like his forms (Imperfect (adonis), Semi- Perfect (Sandra), Perfect (Denis), and Explosion Semi- Perfect (Baby Girl) Super Perfect (Aubrey)), and Not like Us was the Father-Son Kamehameha just absolutely obliterating Cell and Celebrating the victory while wishing Trunks off to his timeline to go (wop wop wop wop wop) on his enemies one last time.
@@ImJustSaiyan I had to fix a couple things but I'm laughing at how perfect (pun intended) Drake as Cell is. The reason I changed it and made baby girl (explosion semi-perfect) is because if Drake really planted that fake info that he was hiding another child. He basically blew himself up on that.
meet the grahams genuinely almost made me cry the first time i heard it, it works so well at establishing its somber tone and just thinking about the lyrics really resonated with my own family life. thanks a lot k dot, you fuckin' broke me man
Not Like Us essentially was for the people in the back who didn't hear the first time. It laid all of Kendrick's previous points out clearly and quickly. And the fact that it's so extremely catchy AND copyright-free from what I've heard is so genius.

I think this beef was the pinnacle of rap beef, it’s never been like this before. All the other famous beefs took forever since artists would in the 90s release disstracks in the form of records. So the reason why Kendrick was so effective at this was because he could upload songs to at get to everyone’s ears, and that includes being able to release music only 30 minutes after drake, which absolutely diminished the impact of his family matters song. If it got to marinate for 1-3 days, the impact would’ve been much greater, but Kendrick released a eerie masterpiece that had way more effect than family matters right after Drake.
The reason why most loved this beef. Is there wasnt any excuse people could pull for Drake losing. Pusba t definitely won but he was overlook due to Drake success overshadowing his by a vase Is margin. Kendrick rival his status within the game put them on an equal playing field.
Yeah, one thing I took away from this beef but I already kinda knew was that a lot of people on both sides lack comprehension and debate skills. Like Myles said "a diss track isn't just about the lyrics it's about the disrespect, the bars, the shock value." Idk man all that sounds like factors of the lyrics 😂
Yeah, I’m cynical as hell but I don’t try to expose myself to people’s opinions even if I fundamentally disagree with them as long as they can articulate why they feel the way they do and from what I have seen the worst of Drake’s fans are somehow the loudest and most vocal.
For real. Kendrick out here with street cred and earning respect from hip hop legends and here we have drake getting exposed a pedophile and alienating himself from everyone 😂
How is Ebony Prince on Twitter "just yapping" when he literally is in possession of everything Kendrick posted for the cover art for 'Meet The Grahams', and he stated Drake lied about planting those things. That's not yapping that's further exposing Drake as a liar. And, he stated Drake filed a police report after the fact lying about those items being stolen which in the rap culture that makes him a 🐀. In addition, he literally caught the journalist in a lie with the surveillance footage.
He’s just yapping because besides him being in possession of those items, he ain’t really saying or proving shit. And the one thing with Chris that he seemed to actually know of, he didn’t provide the video unless he was gonna be paid for it, so it’s like why listen to you after that point.
"Meet the Grahams is a bad song bc it's not fun to replay" 1) It's fun to replay if you hate confirmed pedophiles, confirmed deadbeat parents, or people who don't understand rap 2) This statement directly translates to "Nooooo it's making me think too hard I don't wanna think about how the guy I help provide millions of dollars to is in little girls' DMS and is abandoning two kids"
6:45 there's actual paperwork on Drake being a pedophile He's been texting Billie Eilish and Millie Bobbie Brown since their mid-teens and been talking to them about romantic advice and sex advice. Quick correction many real hip hop heads had Meek taking down Drake before it went the way it did, And realistically Meek is and was a better lyricst. I Definitely agree a lot of these so called “rap fans” are exposing themselves as npc’s
Excellent unbiased breakdown 🎉
"Meet the Grahams is a bad song bc it's not fun to replay"
1) It's fun to replay if you hate confirmed pedophiles, confirmed deadbeat parents, or people who don't understand rap
2) This statement directly translates to "Nooooo it's making me think too hard I don't wanna think about how the guy I help provide millions of dollars to is in little girls' DMS and is abandoning two kids"
14:50 U My Everything and Wah Gwan Delilah: *exists*

The most analytical takes I’ve heard about the beef so far . Tbh always killing it
6:45 there's actual paperwork on Drake being a pedophile
He's been texting Billie Eilish and Millie Bobbie Brown since their mid-teens and been talking to them about romantic advice and sex advice. The fuck?
Not to mention that video of Drake at 23 touching up on a 17-year-old, finding out she's 17, then doubling down.
And that's just the surface level shit.
That's actually about it. There was another girl he groomed and Kylie Jenner but those were both adults.
There is alot of smoke but no fire.
