Thank you for the video, however I couldn't understand what you were saying because the audio was bad. Also, I would like to know what speed you were using with the lathe, what cutter you were using, and a better look at the polishes you were using.. To be fair I'm 81 and have hearing aids. I have been turning pens for 6 years.
I appreciate it. This was one of my first videos so I was still trying to figure it all out. Still am. I usually rough the blank around 800 rpm then step up to around 1500. I lower the speed to 800 to sand then crank it up to 3000 to apply the finish. I used the Rockler carbide tools. I believe the finished I used in this was called shell a wax liquid friction polish. Hope this helps.
