    How is the visibility compared to the LS2 Thunder Carbon?
    My top want is full face safety but a view point if almost no helmet at all.

    Thanks for the review. Does the Flex system really makes a difference to just EPS?

    • @Championhelmets
      @Championhelmets  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The Flex system is going to be a novel alternative to EPS. While most other companies add multi-density EPS to manage different impact speeds, Bell's solution has managed the same while also allowing for better ventilation and managing rotational impacts. Considering that the Flex system first appeared in their off road segment, which often needs that extra level of impact safety, the Flex will make a difference compared to EPS.

    What is the weight difference between the race star and the pro star (size M) ?
    Does the pro star have speaker pockets ?

    • @Championhelmets
      @Championhelmets  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The weight difference between the two helmets in size M is going to be about 100-130 grams. Unfortunately, the Pro Star is not Bluetooth friendly, so it does not have speaker pockets. Most likely, this is to ensure the helmet offers the maximum level of impact absorbing safety.

    Does this come with the photochromatic shield in the box? Or does that need to be purchased separate?

    • @Championhelmets
      @Championhelmets  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there! In the U.S., the Race Star Flex DLX comes with a single Panovision ProTint Photochromic shield. For the rest of the world, the Race Star Flex DLX comes with a Panovision Pinlock Clear shield installed and an additional Panovision Dark Smoke Pinlock with Tear-Off Posts shield in the box. What did you think about the helmet?

      @Champion Helmets My order was cancelled and refunded (helmet is not actually in stock until September), however I was charged $40 currency exchange fee (Paypal) which was not refunded. This is really unfair since you're showing this helmet is in stock (even today). The customer service has not been great and I'm not getting responses. Bummer, I was really excited for this helmet. Caution to any international shoppers, the site does not reflect actual stock of helmets and you will get stuck with a currency exchange fee. This was a waste of my time and money.

    great video. What is the difference between the Racestar and prostar?

    • @Championhelmets
      @Championhelmets  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The main difference between the Race Star and the Pro Star will be that the Pro Star is designed for competition level racing. The Pro Star is constructed out of Textreme carbon fiber (versus the Race Star's 3K carbon fiber) for a lighter weight and even greater strength, and it is also FIM homologated. Because of the added certification, the Pro Star also comes with safety updates including the Flex liner and an additional penetration resistant layer. Besides this, the two helmets will be similar with Panovision visors, Virus Cool Jade interiors, and ventilation.
      Thanks for the question!

      @@Championhelmets I can't find any information about an advanced Flex liner and an additional penetration resistant layer for the Pro Star, not even on the Bell website, do you have a link or can you point us in the right direction ? thx

    • @Championhelmets
      @Championhelmets  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@marselusnoname2766 We've talked to our supplier and the Pro Star includes an additional carbon fiber layer to help it withstand FIM testing requirements and the same Flex liner as the Race Star. The other main difference as far as the interior is that the helmet does not use Magnefusion cheek pads, and it does not include an additional dark smoke visor.
