i never cared much about Norn before watching this episode but this ep. made me love her character so much cuz of how realistic and refreshing. I saw a lot of people hating on Norn just bcz she is being rude to rudues, which honestly doesn't make any sense to me.Just bcz we know Rudues is the mc and has become a better person doesn't mean every character is going to think the same.
I don't know how people could call this episode in particular boring (unless you really just wanna see action) because Norn and Aisha are great. They're both already so complex and realistic. They also force Rudeus' responsible familyman side, which is developing through this marriage.
Aisha was in the bath with Rudy in the LN and she later on sleeps in his bed. And her favorite conversation topic with Rudy is would big brother like to sleep with me. I am fairly sure they are going to cut them off from the anime adaptation in order to not brew any negative press about it. Lilia and Norn's grandmother are actually behaving reasonably to the situation. In Millis having extra wives is illegal. Especially for a noble household. As they have strong connections with the church. Also for a commoner woman to almost break a union between two noble houses. You would be lucky if you escaped that situation with your head still attached to your shoulders.
Sylphy thought that Ruijerd was disappointed at Eris not being Rudy's wife. (like he seriously thought that Rudy must've wife'd up Eris by now after all this time) and IF you're wondering why Paul sent all those money is because those are the school fees for Aisha and Norn and another fact is that Aisha did so well in her exams that university seriously wanted to keep her as a special student just like Rudy and the others and she also has mastery over intermediate or elementary level magic which is very good for her age. Another interesting fact is that the letters they send each other often takes more than a year to reach the destination because the Begaritt and Demon continent are so dangerous and far away.
@@TAMEMED I second the idea, starting to read from volume 11 can lead to surprises that are not appreciated as they should due to chapters cut in previous volumes. There are many people who criticize the university arc, for being boring or whatever, but it is essential in an introductory way for what is cooking for later on. Not only Eris.
We know that Zenith's family comes from the sacred continent of Millis, and Millishion its capital is the religious center of this faith, the most similar to Christianity in our world, devout and chaste faithful and dedicated to monogamy, it is not surprising that Zenith's mother does not approve of the daughter of the maid. The grandmother hates Paul for having 2 wives and surely does not hold back in speaking ill of him, which leads the 2 girls to dislike the old woman and eliminate the option of leaving them in her care at Millis. There is a lot to break down but maybe they will adapt in the next ep so I won't say anything more than what is assumable with what they have shown us. Thanks for the vid! and share your thoughts, despite so many things cut, it felt well carried adaptation (except for Badigadi OMG they butchered him almost completely).
they do seem to be skipping quite a bit of content from the LN that would be nice to have, alot of context and information as well, so they are going through pretty quickly, at first i didnt think theyd get to THAT arc but it seems they will, going at the pace they are.
@@BaselessUpen the University has a principal and that principal has some connections with Roxy (I think) and seriously skipped how much of a pain in the ass Rudeus's grandma is and she basically made Aisha and Norn's life a living hell while they were at her house
Let me know how you guys feel about this episode 🤔

Think I'm gonna start reading from volume 1 after this part🤔
@@BaselessUpen yes you definitely should read from volume 1 so you can better understand why Eris left Rudeus

I'm a little bit sad that they didn't animate the principal's scene 😞
What principal scene?
