I found that if you soak the kernels in water for 10 minutes, the extra moisture added to the kernels helps produce larger and fluffier popcorn.
Must try this
Hey thanks! I'm going to try this asap!
soak it in beer
@@DemocratsAllSukDonkieDix modern problems require modern solutions.
I remember eating Cracker Jacks when I was a kid, the tattoo was my favorite prize.
In my second life I should come back as one of Kent's pups.
Call me Bandit.
Don't turn your back on the brisket neither.😁
I think you should win best comment. 🤣
I could tell the Beag was feeling his fine self again when I saw his head buried in the Cheeto bag😂😂😂 Makes me happy❤🙏
When I was about 8 years old, I got a flashlight in a box of Cracker Jacks. It had a chrome steel body with a red lens cap and used one double A battery. At the time I thought it was the greatest thing ever. I used it for several years reading comic books under the covers in my bed and for lighting my way home at night when I was a kid. I still have that flashlight but I haven't tried it out to see if it still works. Thanks for the memories, Kent......and for the Caramel Corn, too :)
Great job Kent and Shannon, gotta love them Cracker Jack's and your versions of the Cowboy Caramel Corn Treats. Any and all three would be great. Thanks for sharing with us, Fred.
The story of the sailor boy with his puppy really brings me to tear. At least they are remembered by people and live on a long life as iconic cartoon characters on this classic popcorn packaging. By the way that caramel looks so mouthwatering, very satisfying to watch the cooking process.
Thanks for always making us smile Kent😃
😊

The cracker jacks are part of life. I snuck our engagement ring in a box. Best prize ever, cowboy style might be coming soon to our house.
Cracker Jacks, brings back great memories. Thanks for the fun! Thank you Cowboy Kent, for all YOU do!
I LOVE pork rinds and would have never thought of doing this. Thank you

Cracker Jack used to be made in Chicago, just south of Midway Airport. It was so hard to drive by the place and not want some! Thank you kids for the great videos!
Dude .. Cracker Jack.. is a rookie compared to Cowboy Kent .. with this version of yours.. but history on Cracker Jack very cool facts thank you 🦅🇨🇦

Wow everything looks so good
I remember walking 3 miles to school each day with friends and stopping at the corner country store to buy a box of cracker jacks and chow it down on the way to school. I think the cost was about 8 cents a box. I ate some cheese caramel popcorn the other day, reminded me of the stuff we used to get at the carnival or fair. I gotta try making this. Thanks Kent.
Love all the content keep it up Kent!!
All of these look so good!
That looks very good. I've eaten a shreded pork version of this.
Thanks so much again for showing something so simple to make and a nice snack
I was diagnosed with diabetes at 7. 1978 they said it might kill me but I still enjoyed me sum crackjacks and a glass bottle of Coca-Cola.
Great recipe Mr.Rollins!
It's nice to see carmel corn coming back into style. I've been making maple pecan carmel corn lately and boy is it a hit.
Sounds so good
Yum, this looks like a nice snack indeed, I have to try it out!
My hometown and I thank you for sharing the tale of this wonderful snack. Flavored popcorns have always been a local favorite treat. Home-made sounds even better.
Next level caramel corn. All versions look great. Cheers, Kent and Shannon! 👍🏻👍🏻✌️

Hey Cowboy that looks sooo good. My little girls will be thanking you.
Hi Kent and shan, thank you for all of these beautiful videos that you do. This video was extra special to me, as it brought back some very fond memories, and I will be making this for this weekend coming up. Big thank you from Stacy in Texas.
They're really good with a hot seasoning, sweet/heat!Thanks y'all God bless.
Cowboy Kent, you're great! I would never think to add cheese puffs and other I gradients like that!
Yum yum! I have made caramel corn a number of times i usually drizzle it with melted chocolate 🍫 these variations look good!
Kent, the kettle corn looks great, but I wanted to pass on a compliment to your better half. Shan, the camera work is fantastic and the close-ups are even better. I don't know if the camera equipment is new or what, but the videos are sharp as a tack and the food looks like you could eat if off the screen!! Keep up the good work! (and you too, Kent.....)
My late wife was comanche on her dad's side and Spanish on her mother's side and every year we would go to the powwow here in Austin, Texas and the first thing I would do was go get me a bag of kettle corn and I would sprinkle my favorite spice rub on it, it would make your spurs spin like a fan blade! Enjoyed the video and God bless!
Great video 😁
Just discovered this hidden gold TH-cam channel through uncle Roger's collaboration video. This is the cutest and coolest cowboy grandpa who can cook amazingly I've ever seen in real life! Especially when he and his friends doing the happy dance, awww
Brother, thank you for your content. You’re such a wonderful blessing to all of us.
Carmel corn is so good
So good
It all looked good.
Great variations for popcorn.
I love carmel popcorn and pork rinds
but together that sounds awesome
Thanks Kent.🇺🇲🍿🤠🥓🇺🇲
These are some versions I have never tried but they look yummy. I like making caramel corn with Made Rite Corn Pops to have it without the hulls too. Or a Popcorn Cake to have the peanuts and M & M's in it for some extra goodness. You made me hungry for popcorn!
Yes I do love me some Cracker Jack, aka caramel corn.I really really love this when I was a child ate it all the time as long as Mom and Dad would buy it. I have eaten probably every type of caramel corn out there except for homemade. Can I have to give this a try especially with pork
Love to see you up to boutineau ND county vetrens hall .some time always welcome😊

You are very welcome
Fantastic, had not thought of this and we are popcorn junkies for sure. Perfect timing for the big game too. Never made carmel sauce either and that is a great recipe to know. We also make it with cajun spices too.
Hello everyone and. Mr. Rollins. I like your version/w the gravy. Also! Mushroom n Swiss! Would be good as well
Thank you cowboy Kent!!
🇺🇲🇺🇸🤠🇺🇸🇺🇲

Hi Kent!❤ llove your videos ❤😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Hi Kent. Great video. How dare that popcorn spilled your story 😂😂🎉
What was made shows seems delightfully delicious?😋🍽
I've been eating Cracker Jack all my life. Heck, I have 2 cases of individual bags of it in my garage, for a snack when I'm working out there.
Crackerjack always had a little surprise gift in the box for the kids at the bottom, Kent's gift at the end of his Crackerjack is the best ever sending prayers and blessings to those who place their lives protecting our nation and sending prayers and blessings to all who watch his videos no matter what and can you imagine that at least once Kent's received a comment that is insulting, rude, or worse.
Then to reply well God Bless you 😊
What an awesome fusion. It’s genius. I haven’t had crackerjack in forever. The kids nowadays don’t know 🐸🍺🔪🔥
I sure enjoyed them now and back then
These all look delicious Kent. I'm glad that Beag is better.
I do a version with butterscotch chips. Just add i/4 cup shortening or butter to the chips. Melt in a pot over med heat and pour over popcorn then add peanuts right away and mix it all up.
It tastes like peanut brittle.
When I saw the title I was like, "Where's the heat?!"
But then I saw the spicy pork rinds and was like, "Why did I ever question the Cowboy?"
Im going to have to try the spicy pork rind version. I saw someone else comment that if you soak the kernels in water for 10 minutes, the extra moisture will make for larger fluffier popcorns. Not yet verified, but its worth a try.
That sounds just too good, m'be even more gooder than that. Thanks Kent/Shannon.
Yup, first thing after you open the box we looked for what treasure we got with the Cracker Jacks.
Nope, a watched Pot never Boils...........
Interesting
Get some freeze dried hatch green chilies grind them to a powder and try it it's the bomb!!!
Hey Cowboy and Shannon, Maj, Duker, Sadie, Cletus, and everybody!! We enjoy watching all your videos, we being the better half Piggy, Blue, and Pretty Girl!! Thank you for being wholesome and patriotic!! We love Ariat gear, too. Do you have a discount code we could use to get some Ariat gear?!! Just curious, we'd like to help you all out and get some money savings for us. Thank you, take care, and God bless!!
Hey look up old Vienna (red hot Riplets) of St Louis. Order the chips or spice. It's the perfect heat!
There needs to be more recipes that incorporate pork rinds 👍
Good afternoon from Syracuse NY brother and everyone else thank you for sharing your adventures in cooking
This sounds so good 👍 Hopefully the Beag is feeling better 🙏
Godfather of Cowboy Cooking
Pork rinds, you got my attention. (Although my better half will no longer let me eat such goodness.)
YES! I need to make Cracker Jack with pork rinds.
That is different Kent! But it looks good. So glad the Beag is doing better. Y'all have a great week! Cheers!
