Hey Kent and Shannon! I'm back to this video again because I'm using this recipe tonight. Thank you :) I wanted to pass along a tip I learned a long time ago for hamburgers. If you have to make a few of them and want them all the same size there's a fast trick. Separate the burger into portions for each burger you're cooking. Then get two flat plates - no lip to them. Roll each portion into a ball and put it between the plates. Push down evenly on the top one and you'll get a perfect burger. Every one you make that way will be the same size, same thickness and will cook the same amount of time. They won't fall apart on the grill either and it's easy to make the burger size match the buns you have. Thanks for your recipes and your videos.

I still make some of his dishes I went on a meat and caffeine detox in May, I just adjust or make it vegetarian, I went from 215 to 181 since Memorial Day still got about 20 more pounds to go. The additives in the meats were making me bloat and hurting my joints, Those that like meat go for it, I can live without it and the joint pain too. I make patty melts with the veggie burgers that are out, caramelized onions, good cheese like a pepper jack or sharp cheddar-collby and a bit of homage bbq sauce, I make it with no added sugar Ketchup I just googled a simple recipe I use stevia instead of sugar but keep the honey in it. Good luck If my lazy butt can do it, I also started walking every Morning for 30 minutes and I don't eat after 6pm. I have been on the 16-8 fast, I eat from 10am to 6pm. I was snacking after 9pm watching movies and those calories add up and stick around and all the additives in the crackers and such

We went there together on a date. My first revelation was that I was being screwed on every other cheese burger I ever ate. Hooked for life. We ultimately went our separate ways. But I'll always bless her heart for introducing me to Whataburger. Thank you my pretty little blue-eyed brunette with that adorable Texas accent.

The first bit dance is magical
Omg yes my mouth is totally watering.. can’t wait to make it !
I enjoy yur videos, & I do favor the pup that has the name of Duke. That was my service dog’s name. I had to put him to sleep March 27, 2020, he would have been 15 years old in May of same year. He had a mouth tumor on left side of his mouth, that was growing over his lower jaw’s teeth. I sure do miss him immensely. I’m an amputee now, but had my Duke since he was about 5 months old, as my daughter & I rescued him during a pet fair. Anyway, when I became disabled in December of 2017, (BKA), he became my companion, even more.
But, I’m wanting to say a big “Thank You” for yur simple & very delicious recipes. Mighty tasty, for when the city folks cookin’ doesn’t quite satisfy a country tastebud. God Bless 🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸
Your channel is the best, God bless you and your family sir, thank you for the content.
I appreciate that! and God bless you
@@CowboyKentRollins thank you very much sir, my grandpa was a rancher, you remind me of him, have a blessed one.

Definitely brings back memories of my time in Texas. I lived in Keene and at one point, got myself a job at the Whataburger in Cleburne off Henderson. I can almost taste that good ole Patty Melt.
I love your take on it and it looks really good. Can't wait to try it myself.

It's unfair. I have discovered your fine channel just as I started diet 😥
Fast all day, and eat something big once a day. I went from 198 to 179 in three weeks. Still ate my favorite meals.
@@JM-fo1te
Thank you, I will try it
I still make some of his dishes I went on a meat and caffeine detox in May, I just adjust or make it vegetarian,
I went from 215 to 181 since Memorial Day still got about 20 more pounds to go.
Good luck
If my lazy butt can do it, I also started walking every Morning for 30 minutes and I don't eat after 6pm. I have been on the 16-8 fast, I eat from 10am to 6pm.
I was snacking after 9pm watching movies and those calories add up and stick around and all the additives in the crackers and such

I have a hard time wit meat, never really did like it that much of it in the first place, I do hunt with a camera.
Now greens, beans or corn bread I'm all over that.

Not really for me I'm healthier than I have been in years.
I don't know who was salivating more... Duke the Dog, or me!
“Look Here, More BUTTER” lmaooo 😂
Gives ol' Paula Deen a run for her money! LOL

Love love love patty meltz. This is a whole new level of deliciousness. I see their menu and the green Chile bacon burger looks scrumptious. Wouldn't have a recipe your way of that one too would you? Thank you for teaching us how things awtter be cooked.

One of my favorite TH-cam channel as well🤗
Love watching you cook makes me want to cook outside and spend time with you with my boys around a campfire
I love Whataburger. They arrived in Phoenix in1961. I was a Junior in High school. My girlfriend was from Weslaco Texas. She ranted about this thing called "Whataburger" and how I needed to try it.
Such a great looking piece of food. And that cotton field looked beautiful too. Thanks Kent and Shannon, you're videos really make my Friday nights happy after a long working week. Cheers
Haha, something you'll never hear from "up north". "Have a blessed day!" "Thank you, you too."
For those asking “What’s a Whataburger?” It’s a dang good hamburger is what it is.
Best fast food burger out there that’s for sure I love being from Texas
@@jacoblara4820 In-N-out makes a better burger in my opinion (you can taste the difference in the freshness). Those honey butter chicken biscuit sandwiches from whataburger are phenomenal though
Fun_Dips moot point. There are no In-N-Outs in Texas. I like In-N-Out too but I haven’t had one in forever cause I don’t often travel to where they are.
@@teddysalad8227 There are tons of In-N-Out's in Texas, but they are mainly spanning the eastern side of Texas. Dallas, Austin, Houston, they all have them. I'm guessing you live in western texas?
Fun_Dips that would be correct.
Damn Kent,,,,you are like a country singer who uses food for your voice my friend, ,,,and this is a love song here partner !!!! God Bless from Fla. 😎👍💕
Thank you Kent for this video. @0:57 I remember having Whataburger way back when I lived in Texas. 😅
