Lovely shawls! I’m looking forward to your hat tutorial. I don’t know why I show up as “user blah blah blah” but my name is Melissa. I’m 63 and have been crocheting since I was 5. I have to say, the younger generations have come up with some of the most beautiful stitch combinations and patterns. It’s exciting to see😊. Your channel is charming and refreshing. Take care- Melissa
Your shawls are beautiful. I’m looking forward to your video about the making of the BOD shawl. I like the way you’re making your scrap afghan by putting it together as you go. You seem like you’re taking to this medium just fine! 🦋
I think you are doing an amazing job in the crochet community. I think you're awesome and I like listening to you. Thank you for all the help. Or any help that you may give me.
I have used some scraps to make 3-round solid grannies for donation baby blankets. It's a nice surprise to see how unique and pretty they turn out! Although I detest sewing in ends, I don't mind sewing all the squares together.
I need to keep that in mind for the future - just how wonderful scrappy granny squares really are! Sometimes the simple things are most effective. It's easy to overcomplicate life, isn't it! Thanks for your thoughts, and I'm sorry it's taken me so long to respond!
Hey Mary, those were some nice shawls that you completed. Can't wait to see your tutorial on the hat. Thanks for all the hard work that you put in for these videos.
Thank you! I usually look on Ravelry for free patterns, using different search criteria. Then I just scroll and scroll on "dark mode" when I'm having a hard time falling asleep 😂 TMI? 🤣💗 Thanks for your sweet comment!
Hi Mary! I love your shawls and blanket! There is an ancient wisdom "unfurling." I look forward to your tutorial. As a side note, I'm several repeats into my Bruinen shawl, and have grown so confident reading patterns I started another project I'd put off because I couldn't read them. 😅 Cheers!
Thank you! I forgot to answer your question. I turn my acrylic scraps into magic yarn balls for projects, and did one memory afghan inspired by Colours and squares by Lise Franck.
With all the gorgeous little things you make for your friend, Ms. Betty Lou, it's no wonder you don't deal in scraps! I imagine you find a beautiful use for all of your yarn! Big hugs! 💓💞

I’m not much of a scrap yarn user. I just love to find. Ew yarns and create small projects with it. I love all your shawls. I’ve never attempted one.
