It's an excellent port, another step forward for Kojima Studio's mission to reach all gamers across platforms, maybe we'll get to see their new IPs on Nintendo consoles as well, at least I hope. As for comparisons it is just another affirmation that the Xbox Series X and the Playstation 5 are nearly identical in performance.
Sort of 'nearly identical'. Theres still a 15-20% performance advantage on the xbox but with sony having a much larger console market share, their platform gets the vast majority of optimization time and effort, which it completely understandable. You put the time into the biggest potential profit maker.
Series S on my 1440p monitor set to 1450 runs games great and looks stunning, and i am never not impressed when i see the console running the latest games with no real issues.... ...and it only cost me £250 just over 2 years ago......amazing console that give fantastuc bang for buck.
Decima is the engine of the decade. As a PlayStation fan, i always seen Decima as a better engine than UE5 and was hoping Sony would allow it as a 3rd party engine for all devs. Now that we see the results and the amazing optimization it brings. Hope we get to see more games on all systems run it.

Graphically, no game does faces as good as Death Stranding. It could be the cast of professional actors, but the tech is also breathtaking. Tears running down Fragile's cheeks , that kind of graphical fidelity of faces is unmatched anywhere.

I love my Series X, but still defend the Series S. It's such a capable, low priced little box. Its small form factor reminds me of the NEC PC Engine, for they both create a good punch for such a small foot print.
I purchased a series s just to play Xbox games and I find myself playing it more than my ps5 or rog ally. Also since I travel for work it’s small enough that I can add it to my kit.
Somewhy Death strainding: Directors cut on PC also got like way higher CPU requirements then original game. Original game did run like 120+ fps on my old pc, and Directors cut often run under 50.
As much as I want an another bloodborne, I highly doubt Fromsoft has the enough ability to optimize the game for current or future gen without third parties' funding and technical support.

I bought this as soon as I knew it shadow released on Xbox. I have a 1tb SeriesS and they reason I stuck with the Series S is that I game on 1440p monitors that have a 165hz. I don't game at 4k that's why I don't need the Series X. The Series X is identical as the S but at 1080p 60fps, and that's all I need. Death Stranding blew me away with the crystal clear visuals at 1080p monitor with high hz. Series X is good but a waste of money for gamers who don't game at 4k resolution like me. 😂

Normally I'd wait to see if this got a physical release for xbox, but for £17 it was a complete steal. The only problem I have with the game is that quick resume has a bug that will stop your game from saving, so I have to close the game each time I leave it.

Normally I'd wait to see if this got a physical release for xbox, but for £17 it was a complete steal. The only problem I have with the game is that quick resume has a bug that will stop your game from saving, so I have to close the game each time I leave it.

@Spartan_83 death stranding was a Sony triple A game that xbox fans trashed. Sea of thieves was not this type of game of massive big budget game. Playstation fans did not care about sea of Theives being a xbox exclusive and didn't trash on it because xbox didn't say 'look what we got' that's like having knack come out on xbox and hitting number one on xbox charts
