@@danielzychniewicz2633 my friend bought one in 2004 for 10k and there were a couple around for about the same around the same time. Such a bad ass car for that money but now for get about it. Money pit and too expensive to start. Beautiful car but too much $now imo

Rx7 FD was the most iconic car in japan when it comes to street racing because it didn't just appeared in FFTD it was also in a manga/anime initial D which is a street racing theme which was published from 95-13 so just owning a Rx7 FD in japan will turn alot of heads but my personal favorite jp car will always be the honda acura NSX first gen

@@IdealMediaChannel The 1st one is in my heart. My 1st job was at AMC movies during the summer of 2001 and I used to sneak off to catch bits & pieces of that movie EVERYTIME. I'm a big fan of the series except for the 2nd one ☹
They just crammed that in to shut people up. One of the dumbest things done in the series, and they had a Mustange anchor a tank off a bridge.

My stepdad worked at year one back in the day, I got to see a lot of the actual cars from the movies in person at their warehouse. Super cool stuff, this just unlocked that memory lol

One thing to consider when they say they have 6 of a vehicle for these movies, a lot of times the stunt versions of them are mostly just shells with some having the complete motor, some having replaced motors just so they can drive. They probably ( this is just me guessing based off recent films ) had 2 of each Atleast that was complete, and 3-4 stunt versions

My fav would be the Evo 9 and Plymouth Road Runner. Evo for daily use and the plymouth for weekend and night cruising.
The RB swapped Mustang, Monte Carlo, Mona Lisa, Hulk Mobile, Veilside 350z, and Veilside RX-7 are my favorite. Oh and you can’t forget Morimoto’s 350z too!

3:50 actually they took the rb26 for the mustang from this silvia in the movie so there definitely were some mods, and i'm not sure what you mean by base model but the spec r is the top spec that you could get.

Actually, there was a Veilside RX-7 driving around the places of Lahore in Pakistan, which was probably back in 2018. But yes, it was a F&FTD Mazda RX-7.

I actually think the S chassis takes that title, and pretty easily at that. Way more s chassis made than 86s, even with the corolla being a cheap economy car back then. But when theres 3 generations over 13 years I think the S chassis will always be hard to beat as "the most legendary drift car of all time.
The 86 got famous because of initial d, the S chassis got famous because it was good.
Dont get me wrong the levin coupe is one of my favorite cars of all time, but go count the amount of S chassis drift cars over the past few decades, then do the same with the 86. You'll likely fine 50 S chassis to every 1 86
Why an R33 you ask? Better on track, a lot more space (you can actually fit 4 adults) and it's not that common compared to R32 and R34

No, it is an EVO IX, it's just that the APR front bumper makes it look like it's an EVO VIII, When 2 Fast 2 Furious was in the making the 8 only just released which is why it looks like an EVO 7, but when they started on Tokyo Drift the 9 had already been released in the U.S. the 8 got a U.S. release after 2 Fast 2 Furious came out.
