There are so many horses in need and it is unbelievable how they are treated, from Amish abuse as not seen as a living animal but as a machine with no needs, from to much backyard breedings, racing horses who are discarded to auctions even when they did run there heart out and knowingly the most horses are sold to killbuyers who are transporting them to Canada or Mexico for a horrible dead.
The farrier literally just said she has a good life. It looks like the problem is partly physical (her hoof is oddly shaped) and personality (she's calm until she isn't and she's hurt ppl)
In real life darlin boleynbull first you have to find a good ferrier. The owner can't trim feet. I would love to be able to. How many horse hooves have you done?
That's got to be one of the worst hoof conditions I've seen on a youtube video. I've watched quite a few donkey and cow videos, but this poor horse's foot looked especially painful. Thanks for helping the horse to have relief.❤
This is abuse. She is in so much pain. There is no excuse. If you own livestock you are responsible for the care and health of each and every one. Thank you for trying to help her.
If you see how some horse rescues save horses from auctions then you know how many uncaring heartless owners there are…it’s un beyond what you get to see.
@@vegaloempia if you want to see some sad stuff, watch the Fletcher Farms Amarillo, LLC channel. They concentrate mostly on draft horse rescue, specifically the Belgian breed. I’m thinking that with regard to the uncaring and heartless owners, the Amish are some of the worst. They will send animals as young as 5 years old to auction simply because they’ve worked the life out of it and it’s gotten to the point that they no longer want the veterinary bills to properly manage the animals health. To them the horse is a farm implement and not a life.
Don't you have laws in America to protect animals and disown owners like this, taking away all animals from him and never allow him to get any, anymore??
I saw a farrier on utube that makes hard soles for damaged hives. They go over the entire hoof just like a hoof. It protects the damaged hoof and is very strong and u can see through it. Even put a shoe on it. I can’t remember his name but that would help so many of these neglected hooves. ❤
Open Gate, this mare remembers Renato. She's not fighting him hardly at all. And I don't think the other person who came, didn't take their time with her, like Renato does. I'm so happy she is getting some help but those owners are disgusting. That poor horse to be left in this condition for SOOOOO LONG..These feet did not get like this overnight!! I think you farriers are a special kind of God's angels! It always amazes me watching these hoof catastrophe videos and seeing how guys like you can take such horrific hoof conditions and restore them to normal again. A great blessing to horses! 🙏
QUESTION: How often do you come back to service the horses again? Thank you Reynaldo for showing her kindness and patience through these horrible injuries from neglect and abuse. ❤
Love you guys. So smart, so caring, so professional.❤ Thank you for your kindness. Why did her feet get to this bad state -- so abusive to this poor animal. Glad you were able to make such a difference.
Renato is doing a great job with this horse. I haven't seen earlier trims on this horse so I don't know what's been said before about it but it looks like she's foundered before and may have coffin bone rotation and would definitely benefit from some boots or casting, maybe even some wedged soles in the casts to relieve the pressure from the coffin bone on the sole and let it grow better. She has very clean and dry hooves which has probably helped keep thrush and white line disease at bay which is really good. Wishing the best for this mare amd hoping she will let you help her more and more every visit. Lovely to see Renato's patience with such a nervous horse, it will definitely help to build her trust.
When i see a horse in this condition, it makes me both angry, and sad. There is no reason whatsoever for a horse to be in this shape! If the owner cant afford to have a Farrier and/or Vet treat this, then they shouldn't be an owner.
unfortunately many people view animals as nothing more than property, and many of them would call you "woke" for suggesting that animals be treated ethically
This horse deserves so much better! ‘Oh, she’s not an important horse so it doesn’t matter.” How terrible for you to say that. Hurt is hurt. You and that elephant guy I just saw working on a shot animal must be brothers. Heartless!

@@charliemcsorley6286 There are glue on shoes which could be glued onto the hoof, removed easily after a month or 6 wks for further treatment, cleaned and put back on.
