Ive been chasing DW for 3 years on my wj. 1 1/2" bucket lift. The length of lower control arms and camper is only thing that throws me for a loop. When i ordered them new, they said its fine w/ stock controls arms, so i ordered stock length. Ive done everything you did in vid with a little more including polymer track bar, new tie rods on everything.
3 years of chasing it. If its as simple as my camber angle and going adjustable, I would kiss you. Or at least that pretty lady. High five to dude. Thanks for good video.

Great video, this was so helpful and made the job so much easier, combined the alignment video it was just what I needed. Death wobble gone, on my 2004 Jeep WJ 3" lift. Installed the Core 4X4 Tier 3 front upper and lower control arms and trackbar. AWESOME 😀, really great quality products and great support.

For me it was a mixture of out of balance tires/shocks, but also my front upper control arms on the axle side were completely obliterated, when I took them off the bushing just fell right out of the axle, BINGO!

Power tools and any kind of heavy suspension repair requires _eye protection_.
My WJ had bad DW between 42 - 48 mph, (2" lift), and the same day I bought it, I had the two front tires balanced and it cured it completely.
It even had two worn ball joints on the pass. side, which I went ahead and had replaced.
From 0 to 95 mph, rides like a dream.
I have a 4-in lift on my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee what control arm length in the front lower and upper would you suggest?
I noticed you didnt use any washer/spacers on the lower control arms which are clearly needed for proper installation? Also how did you guys determine length of control arms vs height of lift?

Do you have a link for the tool and size you are using to tighten the jam nuts at 15:20 in the video ? I installed my links about 4 years ago and the jam nuts are constantly coming loose.
I have the cruise set on my wj and a 4 inch bilstien setup. As well as new tie rods. I still have dw around 60. What do I need to adjust my control arms to? Alignment is at 3.75 caster. Tires are 265/70/17 front. 275/7017 in the rear. Any idea what could be causing my dw? Thanks
I installed all of these parts on my 2-WD WJ a while back... nice stuff! The issue I'm having now is DW at higher speeds of 70 or above which I call "10 seconds of terror". Could too much positive caster cause this condition?
The WJ's are the most prone to it. Too much caster can cause it, but most of the time it's a combination of a few little things, not just one. Like a little too much caster with a little play in the track bar. I would check everything.
@@core4x4fab I think my Core 4x4 upper control arms are a little too long.... longer than your recommendation which puts my wheel a little forward of center in the wheel opening. I'll shorten them to your spec and see what happens. Thanks!

Is caster a huge issue? I recently acquired a 04 wj and its got real bad death wobble at 40-50. Went to change ball joints and there 1.0 degree offset. Dont really wanna spend a bunch extra on a vehicle im not sure on the rest of its quality. Its only lifted maybe 2-3. Should i just adjust control arms for now
Could you tell me the size crows foot I need for the Jam Nut? (What size is the Jam Nut?) Is it SAE? Metric?? I've searched on your website and I can't find this information.

For the WJ, you will want to be between 5-7 degrees of caster.
Can bad ball joints couse dw?
