I just finished making this then road-tested making a single chapati. It did exactly what it did in the video (puffing up), I am so chuffed ! As I rolled, I counted 3 rolls back and forth then turned it 45 degrees. Then kept doing this until it was thin. I ended up with the roundest chapati I've ever made - fantastic technique ! I brushed on a little butter to keep it soft then spread it with a dal I made earlier, then rolled it up. Yum ! Thanks for the tutorial :)
you all prolly dont care at all but does anyone know of a method to log back into an Instagram account?? I stupidly forgot the password. I would love any tips you can give me!
This is the most precise recipe I’ve come across. After days of struggling with below average chapatis, I got the perfect phulka. Thank you for letting me achieve my Quarantine Goals 😊
Still the best! Been following this recipe and procedure for couple of years now and finished product is always perfect! I tried this using bread flour, same ratio and it works too!
Guru ji with ur teachings and ashirvad, we guys can make chapati at the best way anywhere in this world.. thanks for this video.. love it from KL India.
Thank you for this video. I was gifted Atta flour and am excited to make my first flat bread. My landlady is Indian and I can't wait to show her lol (she shamed me out of using canned/jar seasoning and I now make "ok" curry from scratch lol) I'm not yet comfortable putting it on open flame but will work up to that.
i tried making chapatis some time back and always turned out like biscuits! :( so i gave up. recently i decided to give it a go and after watching some videos with pretty decent results. Then i found your video!!! I have never had such awesome chapatis before! you are a legend in my books! Easy recipe and instructions! Thank you very much! Now i can enjoy a touch of home after a very long time!
It's like math class , meditation class, and wow.... It puffed up.... Such a beautiful music for meditation..... But we gotta close our eyes.... Felt good... Nice video, nice voice.
The best people to make Chappati are the Punjabis. Fantastic so very clearly articulated, great demo. Thank you my dear bro I am going try it again and again to perfection. From a South Indian Tamiilian who loves Roti Chappati Fulkar. Thank you bro.
fantastic technic....so easy to follow and omg... i can do it ... i smear ghee on it before serving... first time try n people say i do it like a pro... ehemmmm...tq so much
It's interesting how you make Chapatti. Chapatti is also a local food in Kenya but we add sugar and salt to ours. Our cooking method is different, though it still comes out really soft.
nice video...i am a student ..and never a good cook...i tried roti at hostel but was never eatable ...but fortunately i came thr ur video and followed ur instructions...OMG...for the first time my rotis were too soft and were phula-huwa... u made my day :P ...Thanks alot ..... :) :)
Hi sir, all your tips helped a lot.. i used to get soft roti most of the times but not consistently..but never perfect round ones.. I got both today..one by initially not pressing hard and the other one of ur 45° tip really worked..thanks so much..
Mother has gone to India for holiday am left to fend for myself, so am going to follow your clear & concise instructions.... BTW, this is to go with Moong Daal & Dil. Fingers crossed. Thanks
Bloat up like heaven? Is heaven bloated up??? Thank you, Gurjeet. Those were good tips. How about some tips on making good puris for anaarees like us??
I feel like this guy just worked on my childhood traumas, neuroses and overall stress levels without charging me. I wish I could have his voice around whenever the s...t hits the fan.
Roti is actually the most simplest thing to cook but it does have it's techniques. Kneading requires real good efforts as I can see in the Video. I will try and know the difference of before after. Thanks much!
