    Wow, I didn’t know you could use the mats from the portrait 3 on the portrait 4 ❤. Going to try on mine and see. Thanks for all the info!

      @@mariandry76 yes! 👍 I use the ones from amazon - "Nicapa" and they work better than the original mat 😅

    Hello! I don’t see a merge option and I’ve been trying to find it awhile so I can create sticker sheets, I have them in seperate tabs and don’t know how to put the designs and the background together, any advice?

    • @kristadraws
      @kristadraws  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi! I usually open them in separate tabs and then just copy & paste them to one sheet, for some reason it's easier for me. But there is an option to "merge" under the "file" option in the top bar - that will open image in your current tab. 👍

    Hello. 😊 In silhouette studio, how can I remove the cut line on a drawing in the sticker sheet that I don't want to be cut? For example, there are small hearts that only serve as a design in the background. Thank you very much.

    • @kristadraws
      @kristadraws  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey! Merge the hearts with the background colour (in my case it was white) and then it shouldn’t draw the cut lines around the hearts, only the background itself 👍🏻 Let me know if it helps 💛

    Is the lamination step optional ?

    • @kristadraws
      @kristadraws  14 วันที่ผ่านมา

      As these sticker sheets are meant for bullet journals & planners and don't need to be super durable, I don't use lamination. But I know some people do add lamination (sometimes even sparkly one), it's up to you - what you prefer. 👍

    Thank you so much! It’s very helpful! I have just one problem, for some reason in “line” I have everything together and I can’t choose background separate. Maybe you know why?

    • @kristadraws
      @kristadraws  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you! 💛"Lines" show up, if you have seperate layer for background & the stickers. Make sure that you export them separately & the sticker layer as transparent .PNG file, so Silhouette studio "sees" the outlines. 👍

    Do you have some tips for the machine to easily read the registration marks? Mine was having trouble reasing it.

    • @kristadraws
      @kristadraws  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi! The main thing I have found is that Portrait actually reads the marks best without any harsh light, so I wouldn't recommend keeping it right next to a window or a bright lamp.
      Another thing I have done, is to go over the registration marks with a black marker and when I do lamination, I cut off corners, so it doesn't go over the marks. Hope that helps! 💛

      if your machine is having trouble reading registration marks, check the scaling of your printer, once i found out that some printers don't print right to scale, everything was fixed, this happened to me a lot with the portrait 3, now with the 4, it never fails to read registration marks, not even in the dark. if your registration marks are even off by 1mm, the machine won't read them. (I'm using an epson ecotank printer)

    Hi, How did transfer the file to your computer? Also is a pc or Mac?

    • @kristadraws
      @kristadraws  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have iCloud, so I just saved it to files (you can also use Google Drive, or send the file through email). I actually have both Mac & PC and I have used Silhouette Studio on both - it's the same process. 👍

    Hi, can you pelase tell how much time the autoblade last? Also, can I also do different depth cuts with manual blade by just changing the force settings? That will help me a lot Thanks.

    • @kristadraws
      @kristadraws  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi! I haven't changed mine yet and it has been a bit more than 6 months, so maybe around one year? It probably also varies based on how much you use your machine. Either way I would still keep a spare just in case. 👍 And for the second part - yes, you can adjust both force & add multiple passes (that it cuts multiple times the same shape) and then you should be able to get away with manual blade for most things.

    • @tech_pbi
      @tech_pbi 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@kristadrawsThanks for the quick reply. 🙂. Can I add multiple passes for a specific shape and is it easy? I have cricut machine and to do a multi pass, I need to draw that shape multiple times

    • @kristadraws
      @kristadraws  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@tech_pbi it's super easy in Silhouette Studio - it's right next to the boxes where you adjust force & speed (I talk about this a bit more in my holographic sticker video, because I used multiple passes for those) 👍
