I duplicate the background image and set it only as cut rather than print then cut, align and attach. I use sticky note for my settings and paper and it takes 3 copies of the background to get it cut around the outside at less than standard pressure while getting my stickers cut perfectly.
Thank you very much for sharing your steps. I’ve been searching for some time how to create sticker sheets by getting not only the kids cut stickers on the sheet, but also the sheets to cut out! You’re a big help! Thank you 😊
Thank you! I just saw a whole other video and I think it was way more complicated haha.Ive been trying to see what types of products I can create at home. Much appreciated! much love to ya!
Love the stickers you’ve done, they’re adorable ☺️ For my background cut I usually duplicate the layers several times in Cricut design, so the machine does a « fake » die cut while still kiss cutting the stickers. It does take some time though, so your way of doing it might be quicker. It would be amazing to be able to do 2 cut settings in one go 😅
This is a pretty nice way, if the Outlines of the stickersheets are sticked - if you have to adjust everything, it's quite stressfull and not possible.. Actually I do it in some other way: What I do to have a kiss cut on my stickers is that I don't put an outline on the stickers in procreate but I add an Offset (with the option "Offset" around them and Cricut Design Space adds the cms or mms to my design and with "Ebnen" (I don't know how its called in english) it only cuts the offsetborders. And then I add to the offset an offset (because I love to have a little space between the kiss cut and the hard cut but not too much so it's still looking cute) and this offset I add some more times (around 2-5 as it needs per paper, it variates). Then I center everything and connect everything and then I print and cut :) Works fine by me with the lowest cutting setting (I added a personal cutting pressure with the lowest values), but I would also LOVE to have the same possibilities like the Sillhouette ones...
Thank you so much for this this makes so much sense. What is your background canvas size that you use in procreate? Also when your finished offsetting, do you flatten the offsets to your image and then combine to the background?
Oh my gosh thank you so so much for this! I’ve definitely been under the impression that I needed photoshop- I’m so excited to simplify and save some money!!
Thank you for the video! It's always great seeing othere people's workflows :) right now I'm handling the different cut lines in sticker sheets by duplicating my background layer a few times, so that the cricut will go over it three or four times and cut through. It sometimes doesn't leave the cleanest cut though so I'll have to try your way!
Nice and great tutorial. I would love to make sticker sheets so I will come back again. definitely once i have all the equipment. This tutorial will be useful or me once I will be that stage in my business.
I like your way how you make it to kiss cut and then die cut in quite simple way, not like 6times multiplying the thing you wish to cut through. But, it is silly that we have to use these workarounds. I didn't know that silhoutte could do it. I have actually wrote message to Cricut support wishing for this feature, it is actually really crazy they do not offer that option. I would love it for multiple purposes not only sticker sheets. Anyway great video and if you didn't do it, it would be probably better to also write them message with a feature request. Keep up the good work.
Thank you so much for this video!! You have helped me out immensely. My sticker paper this order seems a lot thicker than previously and I have been having trouble trying to cut the sticker paper. I usually duplicate the layers. I have just printed and cut my freebie sheet and it worked perfectly with your idea. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Now I don't have to purchase new sticker paper just for my freebies. Much appreciated.
I normally send it through then once it finishes go back in and flatten this gives you the extra outline cut need to remember to go back and unflatten for your next run.
Hi, Anna! Thank you for making this amazing content! love it for a new small business like me. I wonder tho, my cricut works well for cutting in die cut sticker but dont want to cut kiss cut so I cannot cut my sticker sheet. please if anyone can help? thanks x
Thank you so much for this tutorial ❤ It’s one of the best I’ve seen so far. By the way, are you Swedish? You sound Swedish and German at the same time!
Hope it´s helpful :) on procreate I just erase the corners to a round shape 😂 In illustrator it´s of course much easier because you can round the corners of a shape.
Thank you so much for the tutorial! It was super informative and helpful :)) quick questions though, when making the stickers on procreate do you have the colour profile on CMYK or can you keep it on RGB? Also, I noticed when I was using my cricut, the needle was really shaky even when adjusting the pressure. Do you have any tips regarding this?
Hi, really loved the video and stickers are so cute. Can you tell me the color mode setting in Procreate for the stickers? Do you use RGB or CMYK? First time using so confusing.
Can we do this using ibisPaint? I don't want to spend money on an iPad just to use this program since I'm just experimenting to see if I'd like to make this a new hobby
Hi :) when I print at home then I use RGB because for some reason my printer is printing the colors better with RGB. But when I outsource my designs I always use CMYK and also draw in CMYK in procreate.
This is so helpful! When I add my imges to canvas (PNG, 300 DPI, and they look fine in the preview when uploading) they get incredibly blurry in the cavas. Does anyone know how to fit it?
I am very confused as well, what size was your procreate background? Also when you added the images to cricut did you just select them all and click combine to where it would cut them around the sticker images? Thank you for your video
I want to use my cricut maker 3 to cut the white border off of stickers that i have already bought, so they are already cut and everything (I want to use those cut stickers in a resin project, with the white border it just looks tacky 😔) How would i go about doing that ?
Please help me i donnow why i have followed all the steps very well .. but when cutting the sheet it only cuts the outer boarder of the sheets and thats it never cuts the stickers them selves :( please tell me what can be wrong
hi there! thanks so much for the great tutorial! i do have a quick question however- when i add the background and individual stickers, my cricut only cuts the square for the background and not my individual stickers when i flatten them. if i don't flatten them, they spread out everywhere in the preview. i'm sure i'm missing something.. any help is appreciated! thanks :)
Do you ever have issues with the machine not being able to read the sensor marks? This happens to me sometimes , even after successfully cutting multiple sticker sheets then all the sudden it will not be able to read the sensor marks. I've tried everything, matte tape, printing the sensor marks out on regular copy paper , restarting the software, unplugging the machine...even calling customer service. Super frustrating, I want to make a bonfire with it sometimes.
Yes I had that issue with my first cricut nearly at the end of reading the sensor marks it just stopped and the light started to blink red. It was during the time where the print and cut size got bigger. I called customer service and after lots of tries and errors they agreed to send me a new machine.
Amazing tutorial! I have this problem with makings stickersheets in cricut and I hope someone can help me When I attach the back ground layer and the sticker layer it only cuts the background layer. When I tried making stickersheets in the past I didn't have this problem so I really don't understand why this is happening.
@@annalunakdraws interesting. I ordered from them and the smell was so bad I decided I couldn't sell it. I noticed a few comments saying the same, but perhaps we just ended up getting a bad batch!
@@liamdepam hm maybe it was really a bad batch. I have used the ppd paper since I started making stickers and never had such an issue. But they changed the paper quality a bit since I use them, it got a bit thinner. The only problem I have is that most of the time the big package of 40 pcs is sold out 😅
I always see people who laminate their stickers. Is it always necessary to do so? because I see that you didn't do it and your stickers look great without plastic on top
I duplicate the background image and set it only as cut rather than print then cut, align and attach. I use sticky note for my settings and paper and it takes 3 copies of the background to get it cut around the outside at less than standard pressure while getting my stickers cut perfectly.

From what I understand, RGB is best for digital pictures, and CMYK is best for printing.

For printing always CMYK :)

So do you upload the white background part that is outlining the stickers separately, or are you merging them then saving as PNG?

I prefer matte stickers that´s why I don´t laminate them. But they get much more durable when laminating that´s why most artists do that
