- #thermaltake #Noctua #asuspcdiy - Is it a Coffee Machine or a Gaming PC? Both? It's a tall order... Let's get stuck in with Thermaltake's latest chassis; The Tower 300!
Timecodes, though I don't recommend skipping for visual narrative reasons!
00:00 - It's Been Brewing a While...
01:06 - The Tower 300 Overview

It's been a short while brewing, but I finally had chance to build with The Tower 300! Almost every build I've seen with this case has tilted heavily towards the RGB rainbow-wave vibe, but I just didn't see it that way, evidently!
The Tower 300 is on the large side for a Micro ATX chassis that's for sure. However, its strength is in its size, combined with the ability to house some extremely large hardware with excellent cooling potential. Given its shape and presence, I really wanted to utilise this as an opportunity to showcase a more artistic, subtle and earthy pallet of colours via the Noctua theme.

I love the cinematic way you assemble and present the PC! Thanks for the video and greetings from Brazil!
Thank you 👊 Greetings back at you from the UK 🇬🇧
Greetings from Mogadishu Iran!
@@Mr_Matt_LeeWe already have a fish aquarium but now we also have a reptile terrarium!
Not just a coffee lover's dream pc.... anyones dream pc!!
I hear you! 🥰
Ah Mabey not for everyone 😊
Another no RGB build featuring Noctua fans!
AHHHH! What a lovely build! ~ ❤
Wonderful work Mr Matt! It’s always a joy to see what you upload!
What an absolutely sick build! My dream GPU, an amazing(-ly tasty) theme and one of the best artists in the community sure do blend together well!
I'm not sure about the top fans as an intake, but you're not given much choice if you want a 360/420 aio in there. Really cool case nonetheless and a great video as always Matt
Thank you Matt for posting the video, was waiting for this
That looks epic. Love the way you do build videos, a break from the usual 👌🏼
Thanks for the support Matt, always great to see your Thermaltake content.
ooo hell yeah. I've been waiting to see a nice build in this case, but the Noctua coffee build is 👌👌
Love these outside-the-box builds that require extra considerations. As usual Matt, your attention to detail and artistry are unmatched.
I´d love to see thermal images of your builds. Nice work!!!!
Really a nice build🙃👌and now I definitely need one more coffee😁 🍵Thanks for the good video and the fantastic cinematic!
Many greetings from Germany✌
Outstanding build, never thought I would like the Noctua vibe but man it does look incredible....
So worth the wait. Love your take on The Tower 300. Well done mate ☕️
Outstanding presentation, mate!!!
You are the best, every build is a masterpiece!
The fans on top surprised me. In the original they were clearly used as takeout fans.
Same here. I would have though exhaust fans on the top while the CPU, GPU and power supply pull in cool outside air. Because the exhaust slot on the GPU exhausts inside the case, that would have GPU heated air trying to cool down the CPU radiator.
I thought the same, the GPU exhaust hits the intake air, so all the heat from the GPU will be pushed back into the case and likely to recirculate back to the GPU fans.
@@sebashadow2209 HOT AIR RISES. SO DOES MY BULGEASAURUS
Maybe he is going to mount it on its side using that case mount made specifically for that case?
it's mounted that way because of aesthetics I guess. If the radiator fans were pulling air, their back face would face towards the interior of the case, so the build wouldn't look so clean and elegant 😅
Didn't think those fans could look good! Great theme and execution.
Amazing air flow visuals as usual, best build I've seen with that gpu
The production of this video is out of this world. The smoke sensation within the perfect time frame makes it even more interesting. Very well done Mr. Lee.
Simply i adore it....its great ...visualy and in performance Thx Matt
Brilliant video as always. I always wait what you got in store for us every Monday:)
Wow! You're talented👍 The water block coffee idea is genius. ✔
The case design is incredibly good. It was well thought out that the GPU fans were designed as close to the case as possible.
Gorgeous. As usual. Keep it up!
Must be to nice to have such a cool pc
Coffee and Noctua! The best combo ever!
🦉+ ☕️ = 🤎
this case is like no other vertical tower, it feels like a gundam display pc case tho. stunning!
All your works (Builds) are excellent, I live with 3080, but not have that sum of money to build that Beautiful PC. Good work. 👌
I love these formats for PCs. Great hardware and optics. Another mega strong video from you. Love it.
Thanks so much 😁✌️
Simply incredible!!! It will be my next upgrade for sure! congratulations on the video!
I’m impressed - you actually managed to make Noctua fans look good! 🤯 Well done!!!
Came out great! I just built mine a few weeks ago and I am loving it so far
This video is like an espresso brewed in a busy cafe in Roma. Exquisite.
Absolute banger mate, would do anything for something like this. Love the videos pal, appreciate your work :)
😁☕️ Appreciate you buddy! Have an awesome week ✌️
8:30 - The video of double open spouts dispensing espresso on the AIO pump head is a genius touch! ☕️👌🏻
My guy is an artist
Another fine piece of art Mr. Matt Lee. You are the modern-day DaVinci...
I don't even know what to say... but whatever it is it's really good. That video hit on all cylinders. Fantastic work!
My new fav content I never knew I needed each video just so perfect 🎉. Bravo
Epic as usual
Get my request fulfilled while also being immortalized at the beginning?! Awesome! Can't go wrong with the Noctua coffee vibes either. Looks phenomenal! Thanks for doing this one.
For those of you looking to build in this case to use, however, I strongly recommend fan orientation of top exhaust with AIO fans and bottom fan as intakes. I've tried every possible configuration including Matt's here and top exhaust with AIO and bottom as intake has been the best for thermals for me at least when monitoring temps in gaming and running some multi core tests in Cinebench. (running a 14900k w/360mm AIO).
thought exactly the same when I was watching the video
Yep
Always a pleasure to acknowledge you guys where possible 😊 Regarding the temps, I also tried it off camera in multiple configurations and found that the top intake worked best for me (only by a few degrees) based on the hardware I’d chosen. That’s not to say it will work best for everybody, all motherboard, graphics cards, processors and such will ultimately have different heat levels and tolerances. The takeaway here is that in none of the configurations was the temps ever a concern… go with what you prefer the look of first, if there’s thermal issues, make a few changes until you find a balance for your individual setup and needs. That should always be the rule 😊
@@Mr_Matt_Lee I completely agree. I preferred exhaust myself for aesthetics, but had to swap them. This 14900k is like a tiny nuclear reactor so it needed the cooler air. I was hitting mid 90s at times with any other configuration. Most other CPUs shouldn’t have an issue going the exhaust route.
@@phizix5023that’s a very educated response 😊 I would agree, the 14900K needs as much cooling as possible. Even I’ve had it thermal throttle in some cases I didn’t expect it to throttle in 😅 The 14700K on the other hand is much more thermally tame as I’m sure you know. Enjoy the build bud ! The Tower 300 is certainly a look ✌️
I dig this case, and I especially like the two green variants.
That top-intake works pretty nice!
What a way to start the day! Thanks Matt!
You’re welcome! 😁 Have a sweet week my dude ✌️
I'm just sitting here drinking my triple shot Latte watching you build an espresso machine
wowwww!!! what a nice case mr. matt!!! love ittt!!! 🔥
This build also reminds me of the wood grain on a classic car, it never goes out of style. Nice build, nice video 😉
Wow in my wildest dreams would I have a PC like that stunning great video keep it up
I love how easy it was to screw in that top right screw on the motherboard.
finally a title true to it's roots, I'm clicking that sub button finally
your work is art 💙
So clean! ❤
Love the NO RGB build!!! But would love it even more it was in the smaller tower version called Tower 200. I so want that chassi.
Very awesome. This case looks cool. :)
Being a vertical build it was cool to see how most of the text was oriented correctly (VRAM heatsink, GPU backplate, RAM, Bottom fan, etc.). Given your attention to detail I am sure this was calculated. Well done!
Perfect work 👍👍👍
I really liked the Noctua's color blend towards it! When you inserted the graphics card, Zelda's theme came to mind. I guess cause the owl logo reminds me of Majora's Mask.
Thats a great observation 😁 🦉
By far my favorite build you have done yet 🤌
Thank you Matt ❤
that rig with those keycaps is absolute * chef-kiss * 💯
Thank you Matt. ☕️
You’re welcome 🤓☕️
Thats a pretty one. Great work!
I could just say that this is an amazing build, but it wouldn't be anything new, nor surprising. The level of your work goes only one way - up! 🔥
And the more ☕, the better the result! 😁
What I will say though is that I've been building PCs from ~1998 till ~2010, with a loooong hiatus that ended just last year (2023). This "time off" lets me see the coolest upgrades in PC building we had in this field over the last decade and a half and undoubtedly there are two:
1. Data drives in the form of PCI-E/NVME - it makes it all look so much cleaner! And yes, I'm the guy that still remembers those terrible IDE cables with Master/Slave configuration jumpers on the hdd drives and cd drives. 🙈
2. All the different form factors for cases! It's just amazing to see all those different approaches from case manufacturers. It's not "all the same" with a different front anymore and I'm soooo ready for it!
Cheers! ☕
As usual, amazing video
Beautifuckingfull! #justclassy ☕️💪🏻 Keep Up Bro!
Imagine these Internals with the Black Fractal North Case 🔥🔥🔥
love this style of video no talking just written descriptions, and the build something i would do Noctua all the way who needs RGB fans
I feel you with that clomp clomp clomp... 😂
I just like watching his videos now ever since I seen that ROG setup
It s prefekt. Good Job bro.🤩🤩
Giants??! 😨 Great build as usual! Thinking of getting the Tower200 for myself 😊
He is a kind of DJ for PC Builds :D But very best one :D Thanks for amazing videos.
like always perfect ... perfect music
Another great job!
Bummed out with this, I have yet to see a build in a Tower 300 that has blown me away.
It is a really nice setup, although I'd change three things:
1: rotate the top two fans to exhaust
2: rotate the CPU all in one for intake
3: change all the fans to chromax blacks (like what you have above the PSU.
Other than that, I could live with this PC! :-)
Same. I'd love to see comparisons for the airflow in both layouts. My tower 100 is pretty effective in chimney layout running silently. No other option with that case though.
@@scottyanderson7263 I have Tower 200 and put lower one intake, one lower one near cpu for intake, higher one for exhaust and top cooler for exhaust. all works pretty good with air cooling assassin iii from deepcool
Start your own YT channel and see how you do.
@@scottyanderson7263 There are other reviews on the other Thermaltake cases that are larger than this one and they all show the chimney layout you are running is the most effective way to use these style cases. Any time you have air being pulled down from the top it creates higher temps. He would have lower GPU temps even having the radiator blowing the hot air into the case and using the top as the only exhaust than even doing it the way he is using it. And having a lower GPU temps is way better than having lower CPU temps for gaming at least.
@trsskater great point. Mr Matt has another video on airflow where he describes Gpu priority vs. Cpu priority, but ultimately, if your gpu is working hard, your cpu probably won't be maxing out (Gaming vs. Productivity) unless one is mismatched. My tower 100 is my 3rd chimney style case. I had a Phantechs shift before but ran hot. I still have my Silverstone FT03m as a nice little minecraft and homework device for my kids. Looks like a series X.
Great computer and great video!
at the same time relaxing and great!
That beautiful PC makes me want to get a coffee and prepare for Destiny 2 tomorrow. God bless you and the misses ❤
Ohhhh Destiny 2 will be exciting! I’m sure you’re going to have a wicked week (just get that coffee fix first…) ✌️
Sick build. Love the fact it supports matx mobo.
I'm loving this mATX case revolution.
Beautiful build
Great build as always Mr Lee and using the 🤔 Thermaltake terrarium 😂
Thank you, Matt, for creating the coffee machine that every gamer needs 🍵
Watched this while having a cup of coffee ☕
i need this in my life hehe i like the case great build and great video
Thanks 😄 Glad you enjoyed it!
Clean transitions
Nicely done Matt, great efforts as always! Noctua has such a dominant color scheme, yet with this build each part compliments the other. Imo, the Thermaltake chassis is the froth on the coffee :-). Cheers - Jass.
Thanks Jass! 😊 I agree, the color pallet for Noctua certainly has its own dominance, but if executed properly it can look really pleasing. Hope you’re doing well ☕️
Perfect build 10/10
10:20 "Hello, I'm having trouble with my coffee machine. It won't turn on"
Service Tech: "Did you try pressing the switch?"
Best comment. Yep, this is exactly the conversation I had with myself 😂
Dude, your taste in music is God-tier.
This one is outstanding gorgeous 😎👌🏻🤩👏🏻
ME ENCANTA EL NIVEL DE PROFECCIONALIDAD QUE LE DA A CADA VIDEO Y LO INCREIBEMENTE GENIAL DE SUS ARMADOS WOW...
This is incredibly insanely bad ass
I was thinking the top fans would be exhaust. Cool
Thank you 🙏
Finally you using contact frame that was pleasing mate
Glad you enjoyed it 😁👊
I was waiting for this
Hopefully worth the wait!
@@Mr_Matt_Lee Yes, as always.
