So yeah I said marigold blue instead of hydrangea blue in the first part I apologize and beg forgiveness 🙏 CES 2024 Playlist - th-cam.com/video/eTDz3aGc1TQ/w-d-xo.html
I like how it's already fixed in closed captions even though the video has only been live for 10 minutes. Such dedication to quality and accuracy, keep it up
Thermaltake should sell the case , and a fans kit, then you can buy one or both. I'm a 'fan' of 200mm fan set ups: huge , slow, thin & silent fans are best. Someone should make a case with two 5oo mm fans , one on each side, low RPMs & silent, but constant Air flow by both 500mm fans working together...
$170 IT BETTER COME WITH FKNG FANS. !! You let them know that please Paul. I am REALLY get fed up with these companies charging a lot of money for cases, and they decide to strip it down even more. For $170 The back, top and front better come with fans. And not crappy ones either.
You’re the only one who’s covered this case to provide a closer look at the MOBO I/O so thank you very much great job on that. A lot of other content creators just skimmed over that part.
Agreed. I have a couple Tower 100s from a few years ago that still look new, but this new design has some really nice improvements, like the pop-off glass panels. (on mine I have to remove the 4 screws holding the top down in order to slide out the panels) The octagon shape and dual orientations really give it some personality. I prefer black cases, so the other colors don't really do anything for me. And I really want to know what went wrong with Joe's new $10,000 computer. I hope there's a video on that.
Love the blue and love the mATX case options. Hopefully the motherboard builders can come up with a standard, but I still think properly managed cables are perfectly clean.
I really like the 300 cases. I nearly bought the all white last year. The sideways stand really got my mind going on possible custom case themes. That is gonna be a lot of fun.
Those new tower cases look fantastic. I suspect they'll be a little impractical and that front IO panel looks a little out of place... but still, I'd love that on my desk.
The biggest problem is the hanging GPU. These days, with so many super long huge GPUs, you're really rolling the dice on if your GPU manufacturer did good work on the heatpipes or if the small amount of water is just going to pool at the lowest part of the heatpipes(i.e. as far from the GPU chip as possible) while your GPU melts.
I just built in the tower 500 and cooling is phenomenal compared to a conventional. Only issue is because the case is so huge, I needed to use many various cable extensions. Worth it though.
My Tower 300 in dark green “The Terrarium” will be featured on PCPP once it’s done! And yes, it will have living plants, sphagnum moss, and even a small waterfall!
It was a pleasure meeting you briefly, thank you again for taking the time out of your busy schedule to chat for a minute. The psus were what caught my eye, they were soo small, and so light as well. I was kind of dumbfounded when I held them...can't wait to see what people do with sff builds in the future. The CTE E600 was also pretty amazing, I liked how you can either use glass or vented panels. When they told me the case didn't come with fans but had that nice pcie 4.0 x16 riser cable, I thought "id much rather have that then case fans" finally companies are starting to listen to what gamers want. Hope you had a great ces, I am finally recovering!
Damn you and your CES coverage! I was all set to build in a Montech King 95 Pro case in red. Then you had to go and show me that hunter green Tower 300 that literally took my breath away. I've been in computers for over 20 years and I've built dozens of systems but I've never even sniffed, let alone used anything small form factor. So now I call on you to do a step by step build in a Tower 300, preferably in green but I'll allow you to pick the specific color.
I didn't realize how much nice looking products Thermaltake has. Those towers and some of those fittings look good. I will add them to my 2024 list of pc parts to aquire for builds.
I've been a Tower Series fan for a long time, it's usually my go to for miniITX builds(Tower 100). Nice to see them evolving so well! That Bumblebee version is making my mouth water, lol. Great job as always Paul!
I think, once you get past entry-budget-level cases, shipping without fans is perfectly acceptable. My current build is in one of Thermaltake's entry-level cases (an old Versa V21, it's been great for its purpose) and eventually replaced the included fan with a matched set for the build. Was glad it was included for the initial stage of the build though.
Thank you for showing how to get to the motherboard rear IO panel on the Tower 300 case. I've watched at least 3 other videos about it and none of them showed that and I've been wondering ever since.
Thermaltake toughpower PSU are one of the best imo. I had the original 1000w toughpower back in the day, with the mustard and ketchup wiring and the fish net wrap around it. It lasted 10 years and through three pc upgrades along with gpu cards (2008-2018). Now I have the Enermax MaxTytan 80+1250w PSU that has individually wrapped cables and came cable combs, which I still have for about 6 years.
Vertical orientation is apparently terrible according to Thermaltake’s thermal testing documentation. Strix 4090 ran at 79C and that card is known to run around 50-60C.
I have the Thermaltake Tower 900 and I absolutely love it, it's a beast of a case that is expandable beyond measure. These are cute, but too small for me.
I own one of their Tower 900 cases and its a fantastic case to work with. Abit on the heavier side, yeah, but so much room to play with! Running custom hard tubing is a breeze in that. So much stuff you can fit inside it, it's insane. Dual loop, a 560 radiator each, 400mm tall reservoir tubes... I wish they would make an updated version of that case.
Immediately, I'm not a fan of the difficult accessibility of the hidden IO panel in the T300 cases. While it is true that once setup the need to make changes is infrequent so maybe its not as much of an inconvenience as it seems. It would have been nice (and smart) to see actual cables connected to and routed from the IO panel.
Man, so glad you still do this kind of content. GN doesn't bother, LTT only posts a handful of CES videos for useless stuff like 10 foot wide TVs that get a zillion views, PC World posts a few videos that look like ads.
tower 300 is town down cooling not up. The top is not exhaust, but wow really good stuff they got there. Can't wait for the Tower 900 where it can have a few expansion bays and maybe more support for more radiators for gpu & cpu cooling as well as places to hold HDDs.
why would they fight physics? If you are basing it on fan cage orientation you're likely incorrect considering they are SWA fans with swappable blade "cores" that allow you to change the airflow direction without flipping the fan mount.
I think there should be options with and without fans from ALL case manufacturers. At the very least, only include fans with entry level cases for new builders or those on a tight budget.
WOW! Thermaltake really upped their game with this. They've always been mediocre as long as I remember but this, this is impressive! Their using the thicker sheets along with complete powder coat (as apposed to just the outside). Go Thermaltake!
I watched the TechTesseract video on this yesterday too. Thermaltake have some really awesome products there! That side ways tower case, I can totally see that being used more as a wall feature type thing. It reminds me somewhat of a fish tank and I can almost imaging some kind of vivarium style setup with that case safely integrated somehow, particularly if the cabling can be cleanly routed either through the wall or through the unit holding the feature. Also, I love that blue colour ❤
oh my god so much good stuff unbelievable l think l fall in love with the Bumble Bee case l am definitely going to get that case and make a new build! Thank you Paul.
they got to stop putting the gpu i/o facing the top and rotate the motherboard layout 180 degrees, or mount the mobo normal and use a riser cable. most gpu just get too hot in that orientation.
Interesting the back I/O panel faces upward in some of these Thermaltake cases. With the advent of backside power connections on MBs, I wonder if having the back I/O panel facing downward would allow longer cable runs from the case to peripherals. Facing downwards may result in more effort to change cable connections, though how often are those back I/O connections moved?
I like the action to be on the screen, and my PC not a sideshow distraction with flashing lights, RGB, panels, countless controls, and whatever the hell else totally unncesessary features companies can dream up. Just my opinion.
The wraparound glass panels at the start made me think of museum display cases, and that's not a good thing. Everything inside it automatically felt old. The Tower 300 for some reason doesn't give that feeling. I think it's a really interesting case, and it may be the chamfered corners. BTW, it's octagonal, not hexagonal. The back corners are cut out too. Oh, and back wired motherboards are stupid. Just give room to pass the cables back and forth in sensible locations on the tray. And give room to actually have the cables in the back.
So yeah I said marigold blue instead of hydrangea blue in the first part I apologize and beg forgiveness 🙏

You’re the only one who’s covered this case to provide a closer look at the MOBO I/O so thank you very much great job on that. A lot of other content creators just skimmed over that part.
The horizontal tower stand is a nice touch for the case.
I really want it! Love having a case that is unique and with this version it can be used as a center piece
Agreed. I have a couple Tower 100s from a few years ago that still look new, but this new design has some really nice improvements, like the pop-off glass panels. (on mine I have to remove the 4 screws holding the top down in order to slide out the panels) The octagon shape and dual orientations really give it some personality. You do a great job covering CES better then any of the other BIG youtubers
Well said! I was about to post the same thing.
I'm usually not into non-standard-shaped cases, but that Tower 300 looks neat. I might re-wrap my gaming PC with it.
At first I thought maybe but the internals just get uglier as I look at it and the clearance looks like a nightmare to work with
Snatch reference ftw, thanks Paul and Joe for your coverage of CES!
Thanks Paul. Absolutely loved the case on it's side with a stand underneath it!
Love the blue and love the mATX case options. Hopefully the motherboard builders can come up with a standard, but I still think properly managed cables are perfectly clean.
Ceres is a dwarf planet, bro. Dwarf planet. The only one in the asteroid belt. Also, for anyone interested, the CTE C200 is a mini-ITX case.
Thanks for the awesome coverage Paul, kept me up to date !! Good stuff !!
I really like the 300 cases. I nearly bought the all white last year. The sideways stand really got my mind going on possible custom case themes. That is gonna be a lot of fun.
That Cryo case is awesome. If it had 2 top panels would look like a capsule. Those new cases look really nice and those ram colors are nice too 🥰
Those new tower cases look fantastic. I suspect they'll be a little impractical and that front IO panel looks a little out of place... but still, I'd love that on my desk.

8:09 this PC would be the perfect birthday gift for my little brother so excited to buy one for him because I already got the new NV7 PC 😅
I am IN LOVE with the Tower 300 in Matcha Green omg.... I need this when I upgrade
I love Thermaltake cases. Seriously eyeing that Tower 300
i like how they discovered more colors than black and white with the tower 300
That hydrangea blue is gorgeous.
the more i see of the tower 300, the more i want to do a matx build. thanks, paul!
Thermaltake is killing it as always. I've loved their stuff for a long time. Thanks Paul!
My Tower 300 in dark green “The Terrarium” will be featured on PCPP once it’s done! And yes, it will have living plants, sphagnum moss, and even a small waterfall!
Awesome coverage once again! wow, let's goooooooo Thermaltake!
The 300 case intrigues me a lot
Lots of cool ideas. Looking forward to seeing final products.
Great work, Paul and Joe!! Of all the onslaught of CES coverage, I always prefer yours the best.
The Tower 300 looks awesome, almost like a terrarium/aquarium design, I really like it.
Been looking at mATX cases for the past month or so, and that Tower 300 definitely takes the cake
It was a pleasure meeting you briefly, thank you again for taking the time out of your busy schedule to chat for a minute. The psus were what caught my eye, they were soo small, and so light as well. I was kind of dumbfounded when I held them...can't wait to see what people do with sff builds in the future. Thermaltake has always made the coolest stuff. I wish I had more than just a power supply by them
I didn't realize how much nice looking products Thermaltake has.
Tower 300 looks awesome. Love the option to get the big AIOs inside with airflow fans as well.

This is the first CES in a long, long time that I've been generally positive about what's been shown.
And yet we still haven’t seen, at least in my region, the updated Lian Li Evo cases everyone drooled over in 2023
Thank you for the Snatch reference. Thanks for all the amazing content as always!
Thank you for showing how to get to the motherboard rear IO panel on the Tower 300 case. I've watched at least 3 other videos about it and none of them showed that and I've been wondering ever since.
I love that keeb, but that mouse looked excellent. I just wish you had shown it a bit more. Great video, thanks
11:08 look at the size difference of the pins on the 12vhp vs the robust older connectors
Thermaltake toughpower PSU are one of the best imo. I had the original 1000w toughpower back in the day, with the mustard and ketchup wiring and the fish net wrap around it. I liked the white side oriented PC case.. that's a nice and novel way to house and display your components!
The Tower cases look pretty dope. I hope that style gets developed more by other manufacturers. I've seen a couple others try it too.
What happened to the Core P6?
Vertical orientation is apparently terrible according to Thermaltake’s thermal testing documentation. Strix 4090 ran at 79C and that card is known to run around 50-60C.
I have same problem with 6950xt and in that case its cos of vapor chamber which dont like vertical
I have the Thermaltake Tower 900 and I absolutely love it, it's a beast of a case that is expandable beyond measure. These are cute, but too small for me.

“We’ve lost Gorgeous George….” 😉
Moving the connectors to the back. Finally! It took the industry 20 years to open one eye. Good progress!
Fishtanks...
Fishtanks everywhere 🐟🐠🐙
You can Snatch a like from me with that Mickey reference. Made that intro worth more than diamonds.
The alien chamber Tower 300 is so dope for my next Matx case swap
Thinking the same. Thinking of pre-ordering the bumblebee color.
The periwinkle blue reference, perfect!
This may be my favorite case ever personally and I haven't even gotten to see it in person yet! Next build for sure
I love the tower case! IO on top? That gives super easy access when you have tons of cables connected already and need to connect something else!
Have to say, I'm on board with your Tower 300 selection. Looks slick! Thanks for your coverage of CES Paul! You guys keep my dreams alive ;)
Man, so glad you still do this kind of content. GN doesn't bother, LTT only posts a handful of CES videos for useless stuff like 10 foot wide TVs that get a zillion views, PC World posts a few videos that look like ads.
YEAH!!!! Nice cases!!!! I also like the moving of connectors to the back of the board. WICKED!!!!
I love the new tower, I hope they do it for ATX MB 😁
Tower 300 looks awesome
Looks a bit tight for the GPU displayport/hdmi cable access? Unless you get optical ones that arent so stiff.
Not often a case comes along that has me drooling, but the tower series has forced me to keep a towel handy.
Ceres is a dwarf planet! (the most important thing in the video) :D
Awesome! Tower 300 on its side is cool!
Oh yeah the Tower 300 looks very, very nice! Going to be my choice for a Zwift machine at some point!!! Oh and in yellow and black!
Great video 👍. Ceres is a Dwarf Planet, btw 🙃
tower 300 is town down cooling not up. The top is not exhaust, but wow really good stuff they got there. Can't wait for the Tower 900 where it can have a few expansion bays and maybe more support for more radiators for gpu & cpu cooling as well as places to hold HDDs.
why would they fight physics? If you are basing it on fan cage orientation you're likely incorrect considering they are SWA fans with swappable blade "cores" that allow you to change the airflow direction without flipping the fan mount.
so yes on the CTE C200
In most cases the glass panels are on the wrong side to suit my desk layout. My pc has the left side against the wall.
I think there should be options with and without fans from ALL case manufacturers. At the very least, only include fans with entry level cases for new builders or those on a tight budget.
nice snatch reference!
love (most) guy ritchey movies and snatch is top of the list…
CTE 200! A micro atx case that supports 2x 240 rads and has a usb-c front panel connector!? TAKE MY MONEY!!
WOW! Thermaltake really upped their game with this. They've always been mediocre as long as I remember but this, this is impressive! Their using the thicker sheets along with complete powder coat (as apposed to just the outside). Go Thermaltake!

Can't believe those are actually Thermaltake cases, they all look fucking awesome
oh my god so much good stuff unbelievable l think l fall in love with the Bumble Bee case l am definitely going to get that case and make a new build! Thank you Paul.
"Nice design, Dave! How are you dealing with the i/o problem?"
"...oh. Uhhh..."
Ceres is a dwarf planet. Tower 300 is pretty awesome!
Love that mATX case and the hexagonal Tower 300.
Really like that funky "coffin" bracket.
Thanks for the coverage
it gives some horizon forbidden west flair with their ectogenic chambers from Far Zenith
I concur....
Octagonal
they got to stop putting the gpu i/o facing the top and rotate the motherboard layout 180 degrees, or mount the mobo normal and use a riser cable. most gpu just get too hot in that orientation.
I want the Thermaltake Desk Mat, as long as it is waterproof & resistant to coffee cup stains... ( & beer mug rings too !) :-)
Interesting the back I/O panel faces upward in some of these Thermaltake cases. With the advent of backside power connections on MBs, I wonder if having the back I/O panel facing downward would allow longer cable runs from the case to peripherals.
Facing downwards may result in more effort to change cable connections, though how often are those back I/O connections moved?
some nice cases in that lineup
I like the action to be on the screen, and my PC not a sideshow distraction with flashing lights, RGB, panels, countless controls, and whatever the hell else totally unncesessary features companies can dream up. Just my opinion.
I wanted the tower 200, but now I'm not too sure.
That 300 looks awsome!
1:54 $180 for a case.. and saving money in the same sentence!
Curious if it supports a radator on the left/GPU side to support full custom loops?
Paul said the wrong color of blue, time for his techtuber license to be revoked.
can you fit wifi antennas in the case ?
I really like rotated and/or inverted mobo orientations.
7:52 something out of Death Stranding for your BB pod 😂
Do we have a release date for the matcha green Tower 300?
1:36 No fans with the case would always be my choice.
wow, i like that c200 concept! hope they'll make it happen.
The Tower 300 has a sci-fi feel. Could almost have an alien sample inside.
Wow the 300 tower!!
Still will never leave my Civ 3 but do agree the Tower 300 is a sweet case.
