I love this music it is so hypnotic. Everything about this movie makes me so proud of my Cherokee Indian, Scott Irish heritage. I was with Russell Means as he used a pay phone at TV-8 in Cleveland, Ohio. Russell told me to wait a minute because he had to call his agent in California. When he hung up the Pay Phone he jumped up and down and his braids flew in the air while his long leather coat was flapping up and down and he was so excited and he said “I got it I got it.” I said “You got what?” He said I got the part in the movie!! Well that was a long time ago when payphones and Russell was healthy and alive with good ambition. He is at his best in this movie. This is how I remember him. Rest in peace dear friend.

I love the American Indians, am so so sorry you got treated so badly by the British etc, You are so different to the Australian Natives because you were a proud Nation and had so much pride in your Culture.

I totally agree...I'm Choctaw, Scotch-Irish...a great movie and soundtrac...I had a professor that was in the militia when they were attacked by Wes Studi and they killed Col. Monroe...it was awesome to watch
This soundtrack is one of the best I've ever heard. My wife is native and it just gives me Goosebumps every time I listen to the song. I'm very proud that I married to a beautiful native woman.
One of the greatest movies, cast, soundtrack. This is pure magic. The story lives in my ancestors, the music touches my soul and the cast was Amazing and how they were true to the reality and spirit of the time. Many family lived through similar stories and luckily I know them. Thank you to cast crew and soundtrack artists.
Ok, it's just a movie, entertainment. War is war. But, this masteriece, scenes and song, show us the true life. Love is a crazy thing and a real sense for life.

Death trading blows with life, self denial waltzing with treachery, gallantry matching wits with deception in this cinematic masterpiece owing so much to its soul purging music score and doing so much nustice to Fennimor Cooper ' s compelling novel
Death trading blows with life, gallantry matching wits with treachery, love waltzing with revenge and hatred, self denial challenging and outpacing deception in this cinematic masterpiece owing so.much to its soulpurging music score snd doing great justice to James's Fenimmor Cooper ' s compelling novel
Watched the last of the mohicans 70 year ago!! was enthralled as a ragged arsed little scot git . Mesmorised with this comparative update of a great story.Nemo me impune lacessit.
I am Scots-Irish and English. Part of a collateral branch of my family married Cherokee in the 1830's. One son became the first Cherokee Indian representative to the US Congress. Unfortunately no Indian direct lineage, although we have been here for 400 years. In many ways it seems as if the history of this country as brought down by the descendants of those who actually built early America is lost, although we are still here. I happened to mention to someone that Daniel Boone was a great grandfather and the person was surprised that descendants of historic figures exist. Most of the people in my town were related to historic figures, including George Rodgers Clark, Lewis Meriwether Clark, in my case, John Alden, and many others. This was simply because The Mayflower only had about 130 passengers, about half of whom were dead by the following spring, so they survivors stayed together and by necessity intermarried. My town was settled by recepients of land grants for fighting in the American Revolution. The same families keep showing up. When I was little I assumed everybody came from people who were pioneers. My family includes well known river boat captains from the 1850's which was how my family made its living (down the Ohio from Pittsburgh all the way to New Orleans. My town developed on the falls of the Ohio at Louisviile Ky. where the boats had to be unloaded above the falls, cargo portaged to boats below the falls and then on its way. One of my great grandfather's passengers and students of riverboating was Mark Twain. (When I say great grandfather I mean as many greats as is requisite).
Actually, a lot was filmed in East Tennessee. I had a professor who was in the battle scenes. They used the Tennessee Musket Brigade, to which he was a member
Um dos melhores filetes que já vi na minha vida trilha sonora atores dedicados e muito emocionante não vai ter outro assim tão cedo. Me emociono todas as vezes que vejo qualquer sena do filme.

The history will prevail that nobody could understand what’s going on as Native American and then Mohicans two different places. There are people that stand in the ground and hold their land by minority folks from different countries come around to America because they are not welcome dear owner so they’re being shipped over to and take all our native and greedy, but you know who they are but the truth is there are most of those country star landowners that are preview land and those are the military the great Britain only thing to Britain believe is that you are royal honor the queen Should not be live longer than never even though they fight a great battle back then, but can’t try to conquer another country, which is the United States, which tried to feed Indians and other Indians to fight and win this war, but they were defeated, and there will be that they will never conquer at all, but conquer their own countrybut don’t conquer other conquer you think you could dominate the world cannot do that no matter how much power and people you kill and kill the others you say their enemy, but they stand for their own rights. The same as you are end discussion goodbye.

Шедевр. Всегда задавался вопросом, если бы вместо Ункаса был Зверобой в сражении с Ирокезом, как бы повернулась ветвь.
