Can you tell us what the direction triangles of the winds aloft are? I notice some point to the right and some to the left, but you didn't explain that in the video. I get that green mean favorable, but I would have thought that if I am traveling on the profile view from left to right, a tailwind in green would always point in the direction of my travel, right? But some are pointing left and some are pointing right!

The Profile view itself shows the flight from the start at the left to landing on right. Thus, an arrow to the right means the wind is HEADING towards landing -- a tail wind. Arrow pointing LEFT means heading towards the start so a head wind. The arrow directions are consistent w/ the 2D map in that it points to where the wind is going not where it came from (unlike like the stick-figure wind barbs which point in the direction from which the wind comes). We like a more "natural" system of display.
Also, Green does not necessarily mean favorable. Rather, just like the Winds Aloft and Surface Winds on the 2D map, green is light (< 20 kts, I think), orange is stronger and red is hard (like > 50 kts, I think).

I watched the webinar last month and now there is a public release.. still no update released. Sadly, FlyQ has so many issues (like a completely broken weather briefing, files that don't download properly, recording issues) that this new update doesn't even interest me. Will be going back to Foreflight.

Hi Yeager, it was released yesterday. In terms of the issues you note, I'm sorry to hear that but I don't know what you mean by either "broken weather briefing" or "files that don't download properly." Could you email details of the issues to support@seattleavionics.com so the support team can have a look? We don't do tech support from TH-cam but we definitely want to know more about any problems you or anyone else is having.
