    How to pray the Holy Rosary: traditionalcat...
    I highly recommend that all 15 decades of the Rosary be prayed daily, in obedience to the request of Our Lady of Fatima. This is best accomplished by praying a part of the Rosary at different times of the day, for example, the joyful mysteries in the morning, sorrowful mysteries at midday, and glorious mysteries in the evening. The Hail, Holy Queen only needs to be prayed at the end of the entire day’s rosary.
    An essential part of the Rosary is meditation on the mysteries, episodes in the life of Our Lord and Our Lady. This means thinking about them, visualizing them, considering the graces and merits displayed in them, and using them for inspiration to better know and love God. It is also common to focus on a particular virtue with each mystery, for instance those recommended by St. Louis de Montfort.
    FIND A LATIN MASS:
    To be a Traditional Catholic means to embrace and follow the Traditions of our Forefathers. Traditional Catholics must go exclusively to the Tridentine mass (not barring good eastern rites), and in charity and humility and without bitterness protest and resist the liturgical novelties and ruptures of the 1970 Missal (The New Mass).

    * Note on Latin Mass attendance: I personally recommend you find an SSPX chapel if it is available, that way the Mass, preaching, confessions, sacraments, Doctrine, morals and catechism that you will get will be guaranteed to be orthodox and fully traditional.
    If there is not an SSPX chapel near you, please go to your closest Latin Mass, just be aware that sometimes (not all the time), the preaching could have questionable elements due to the modern seminary training. One must understand that the crisis is not just a liturgical one, but a doctrinal one, rooted in the modern errors.

    Our Lady said this at La Salette. Our Lord was so offended because people were laboring on the Lords day. I can remember when stores were closed on Sunday. We didn’t think anything about and we planned accordingly. I’m hoping stores just find it not profitable to open on Sunday any longer.
    My sister couldn’t even get a priest to come out for her husband’s grandmother on her deathbed. It was so sad!

    I have the Catechism of Saint Pius X. Super clear and concise! ♥️
    How true, what you said regarding those who’ve lost Faith and all desire to know or respect God… falling deeper and deeper into grave sin, extinguishing the light of God within their very souls and darkening their intellects. Praying fervently for the powerful conversion of our wayward loved ones, especially among our own children.

    When the holy Mass is over and we celebrated the Eucharist. The moment the mass is ended everyone almost hastily walks out the church into the world. Not even 10 minutes thanking the Lord for his great gift he freely given us. Sometimes I just cry with him and feeling his loneliness at the sacrament. Our Lord Jesus Christ is our Savior but many forgot even who he is. May we pray for the church and our brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus for their Salvation

    Nick, who do you think is responsible for using A I to pretend to be the Blessed Mother at the fslse Medugorje? ~ I say this because when Mary appeared at Fatima, She said to pray for Russia. She does not contradict Herself by telling people to pray for peace, when She already said specifically to pray for Russia, and then Her Immaculate Heart would Triumph, and then the World would have peace.

    The dire moral imperative you lay out, Nick, for being both strictly moral and strictly believing All the doctrines of the Faith is the EXACT reason why everyone so enthusiastically accepted Vatican II and all the changes and new ways: it offered them an escape from all that yucky and scary obedience and hellfire stuff. And it’s the very reason why so many war against the Tradition in the Church today: they can’t bear to have that dread law return and prick their guilty consciences.

      I have perfect peace in Jesus Christ. I appreciate your concern. With all honesty and respect, I have no respect for the work of Mr. Lofton. Aside from the fact that I disagree with him over theological issues, he has made a living sowing discord between brethren (Proverbs 6:16-19). Look at how many attack videos he has made about other fellow Catholics. Hundreds of them. I know so many fellow content creators that he was friends with but now they consider him problematic. I encourage you to read the traditional catechisms and manuals and apply the eternal faith to the crisis in the Church. Hope that helps.

    • @Liliana_Cavz
      @Liliana_Cavz 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I’ve read traditional catechisms. I’ve also been a sedevacantist without knowing it.
      Michael Lofton doesn’t seem to be trying to cause division. He seems to be upset about what others are causing out of what I hope is ignorance. I listen to the facts more than the emotion. I too get upset when I hear others who call themselves Catholic but they are causing unnecessary division in our Church.
      You definitely don’t seem to be one of those Catholics who may be purposely causing division. I can see you are sincerely trying to remain a faithful Catholic. I definitely do believe some of our bishops could do a lot better in leading. I think if they led better there would be less confusion, but maybe I’m wrong.
      Maybe you can help in explaining why following ecclesiastical tradition is more important than being attached to the successor of Peter? I have yet to understand why someone would attend an SSPX Mass over an FSSP Mass. I returned to the Catholic Church just a few months ago so I’m still learning the differences between SSPX vs FSSP.

    • @thetraditionalthomist
      @thetraditionalthomist  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @@Liliana_Cavz Thanks for giving your head back. Question for you. Do you believe that a Pope in the context of his non-definitive magisterium can teach error? Now to answer your question.
      As someone who has recently returned to the Catholic Church, it is wonderful that you are seeking to understand the differences between the SSPX (Society of Saint Pius X) and the FSSP (Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter). The SSPX holds a distinct position within the Church, particularly in its approach to tradition and ecclesiastical authority.
      The SSPX was founded by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre in 1970 with the primary aim of preserving the traditional Latin Mass and the timeless teachings and practices of the Catholic Church. We believe that these traditions are the bedrock of the Catholic faith, having been handed down through the centuries. The reforms of the Second Vatican Council (Vatican II), especially the changes in the liturgy, brought about significant departures from these traditions, which many feel have led to a dilution of the faith and a crisis in the Church.
      One of the core principles of the SSPX is the unwavering adherence to the doctrines and disciplines of the Church as they were before Vatican II. We maintain that these teachings represent the true faith as intended by Christ and faithfully passed down by the Apostles and their successors. The new orientations introduced by Vatican II, in our view, have led to confusion and a departure from the certainty and purity of traditional Catholic doctrine.
      The SSPX respects the papacy and acknowledges the Pope as the legitimate successor of St. Peter. However, we also believe that it is our duty to preserve the faith in its entirety, even if this sometimes means questioning certain actions or teachings from the post-Vatican II hierarchy that seem to contradict previous magisterial teachings. Archbishop Lefebvre’s actions, including the consecration of bishops without papal mandate, were taken out of a grave concern for the preservation of the true faith and the traditional priesthood.
      We hold that the Church's adherence to her 2,000-year-old traditions is essential for the salvation of souls. These traditions are not mere customs but are deeply rooted in the Divine Revelation and the infallible teachings of the Church. The SSPX believes that remaining steadfast to these traditions, even in the face of modern innovations, is more crucial than the mere appearance of ecclesiastical unity, especially when such unity might compromise the integrity of the faith.
      While the FSSP also celebrates the traditional Latin Mass, it does so accepting all the Council's reforms and orientations. The SSPX contends that this acceptance potentially undermines the traditional teachings and practices that have been safeguarded through the ages. We see our mission as a necessary stand to ensure that the authentic traditions of the Church are not lost or watered down.
      Following ecclesiastical tradition is paramount because it ensures the unbroken transmission of the true faith as handed down by Christ and His Apostles. When the successor of St. Peter upholds and teaches this same faith, there is no conflict; however, if modern teachings deviate from this sacred deposit, fidelity to tradition becomes essential. Tradition serves as the immutable standard against which all teachings are measured, preserving the purity and integrity of the Catholic faith. In such times, adherence to ecclesiastical tradition is not a rejection of papal authority but a profound commitment to the authentic doctrine of the Church, ensuring that the faith remains unaltered and true to its divine origins.
