Ex Muslim Christian here, by the grace and mercy of god I have been freed from the cult of this false religion of Islam. Even after prayer as a Muslim I have heard the voice of Jesus Christ telling me "it is not this that is the true religion, I am only allowing prosperity because it is all you know" I wonder how is it that as a devout Muslim at the time, this is not what "I'd want to hear" but I heard it despite what I was led to believe as a Muslim. I believe it is truly the voice of our beloved son of man, our savior, Jesus Christ that I got to know the way the truth and the life.

But comparing it to the old testament, the old testament makes so much more sense and coherence than the Quran. Anyone who reads both with an honest heart and a sound mind will realize what is the truth. The Quran is just completely cut up stories not related to each other in any deep sense, but the old testament is just one continual story and it's much better and sound. The truth is obvious yet people are ignoring it as I have when I was a muslim. Only by the grace of god can someone know the truth.

I've often wondered how many priests or monks or preachers refused to carry the Gospel into Arabia...so God wanted to help those people know His majesty and law, even if incomplete. The Catholic clergy of Britain were too comfortable and warm to go into the mountains and mines of Wales (a devout Catholic country)...Wales was so poor and miserable with the mines and alcohol religion was way down the list. So the Methodist circuit riders did the job for God. A Catholic priest/historian told me all about it. No one doubts Muslims pray and try to honor God who created the universe...the time had come. If you live in Turkey, I'm grateful to God that though it may not be Constantinople any more (and that the Hagia Sophia is no longer the church it was) then at least for an Islamic country, it is moderate and not only tolerates Christians (better than some do, anyway...) but even permits some alcohol use! A fascinating region with so much history. If Jerusalem is the city of God and Rome/the Vatican the seat of Christendom, I have to consider Istanbul/Constantinople as our third-most holy city. I am an exmuslim. I was born into that religion, but the more i read the more i was disgusted especially the awtas captives and right hand posessions it was a major part of me leaving islam. I am trying to follow Jesus, his message is beautiful. I am saying Jesus is God now and I am pasosng by a church each day to thank Jesus. Muslims will refute this by saying the bible has been changed, yet we know from History and what we have from archaeology and preservation that it hasn't been. Worse still the Quran claims Gods word cannot be corrupted yet claims that the bible is also his word, when it disproves Islam. It's got a alot of holes. Compare that to Christianty, it's paegely built on eye witness testimony of Jesus written in the Gospels, and fulfilled prophecy which can be proven.

I got an answer of 4500 years. I told my teacher that I think there is a mistake in Quran. Within 40 days and nights the earth cannot be fully submerged in the water. Couple mistakes though. The splitting of the Moon is talking about a future event at the end of time (as explained by the tafsirs) and the Quran of course does not teach that the Bible is corrupted (again explained in the tafsirs), only modern Muslims seem to believe so!

Ex Muslim Christian here, by the grace and mercy of god I have been freed from the cult of this false religion of Islam. Even after prayer as a Muslim I have heard the voice of Jesus Christ telling me "it is not this that is the true religion, I am only allowing prosperity because it is all you know"

Anyone who reads both with an honest heart and a sound mind will realize what is the truth. The Quran is just completely cut up stories not related to each other in any deep sense, but the old testament is just one continual story and it's much better and sound.

I've often wondered how many priests or monks or preachers refused to carry the Gospel into Arabia...so God wanted to help those people know His majesty and law, even if incomplete. The Catholic clergy of Britain were too comfortable and warm to go into the mountains and mines of Wales (a devout Catholic country)...Wales was so poor and miserable with the mines and alcohol religion was way down the list. So the Methodist circuit riders did the job for God. A Catholic priest/historian told me all about it. No one doubts Muslims pray and try to honor God who created the universe...the time had come. The full truth will not be stopped when that time comes.

You do realise that conversion rates aren’t the main reason for the growth of Islam and that it’s because of birth rates which have been declining in Christian populations by conversion Christianity is harder to track because it would depend on what denominations you would count where as in Islam Sunni and Shia is the only difference measured and the schools are ignored in studies

If you live in Turkey, I'm grateful to God that though it may not be Constantinople any more (and that the Hagia Sophia is no longer the church it was) then at least for an Islamic country, it is moderate and not only tolerates Christians (better than some do, anyway...) but even permits some alcohol use! A fascinating region with so much history.
If Jerusalem is the city of God and Rome/the Vatican the seat of Christendom, I have to consider Istanbul/Constantinople as our third-most holy city. I look forward to visiting them all one day, Jerusalem most of all.

Jesus is accused of something similar in Matthew 12:22-28, saying that he works through Satan. What was Jesus' reply to them? “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand." So if Islam is against Satan then it cannot be from Satan in accordance with Jesus' own words. Verses in the Quran which are against Satan include but are not limited to 43:62, 24:21, 5:90.
And there are many such verses like this condemning Satan and warning us about him. So if the Quran is from Satan and Muhammad was a tool of Satan you wouldn't find such verse in it because the Bible says that a house divided against itself cannot stand.
Why would Satan go to pagans (who are already worshipping idols) and tell them to stop worshipping those idols and to worship only the one god, the God of Abraham? The reason you see islam as this barbaric, violent, and lustful religion is because of people -like the one in the video who speak about it ignorantly. To prove to you my point, look at his arguments, he says that islam has no supernatural signs, except few which have no eye witnesses, however, if you read the very first pages of the second chapter of the Quran, you’ll find that the supernatural miracle of islam is the Quran itself! Also, he implies that people accepted islam because it fulfills their lustful desires, but if you see the history of islam, and how it started, and how the people used to treat their women and slaves, and what type of things they used to do, you’ll understand how his statement couldn’t be more wrong. Because many of the practices which people used to do, such as drinking, usury, and others were relinquished by islam.

In fact, so stark that it's nearly impossible to believe that both religions are the legacies of Abraham and Sarah.. or that they share common concepts of: God, Good, Evil.. so polar opposite are both.
