the one Holy apostolic church is Not the Roman Catholic. church. The Roman Catholic Church is a False Doctrine. The King James Bible is God's Word. O ly God's Word is Truth.

“God’s Word” is not restricted to the Bible, (which, btw, Jesus never instructed His disciples to write.) Jesus Himself is The Word of God-
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. - John 1:1-2;14 (KJV)
Prayer you learn what the Church REALLY teaches.

Thank you for your straightforward videos. We used to go to the “reverent novus ordo” mass by a congregation of priests near where we live. Then Covid happened. It was then that I began to see through the armor of these so called courageous priests, who, many of our friends seem to think hung the moon. Masks were required in the sanctuary and they announced communion in the hand only and would slather their hands with hand sanitizer before distributing. Of course once it was over, they post sermons about standing up to government overreach, and being brave in your faith, etc. I understand that, in many places, the bishops were behind this behavior. We were searching for a place to go to mass where we weren’t required to wear masks and we stumbled upon our tiny SSPX chapel in Franklin, Tn. We walked in and were stunned; nobody, not even the elderly were wearing masks. The pews were packed, elbow to elbow, Holy Communion was received at the rail and on the tongue, and folks would actually come up and shake hands and talk with us outside after mass. I will always be indebted to the SSPX priests, who were more concerned with the salvation of our souls than catching a virus! It’s an hour drive from my house but worth every mile to go to a church where the faith is real.

The "church ladies" in my Church have prevented the stone holy water fonts from being put back up.after redecorations, "it might mark the plaster".
Meanwhile the holy hand sanitizer is in pride of place in its wrought iron stand. At the entrance, front-and centre.
It's still.on.the altar in many churches - the Eucharist servers are particularly fond of ritualising their hand sanitizer ablutions after condescending to the hoi poloi.

The more and more this continues the more I seek to become a sedevacantist. I'm having a hard time being asked "do you follow the pope?" and Im on the complete brink of a firm NO. Would God punish those who apostazise due to the popes scandalous actions? Is it their fault for not wanting to be corrupted any longer? How should I go about this. (Actively discerning the priesthood and this just confuses the whole lot). Is the SSPX radical enough.

    • @thetraditionalthomist
      @thetraditionalthomist  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

Thanks for being open with your struggle. I will tell you two reasons why I am not a Sedevacantist.
(1). Firstly, Vatican I solemnly teaches as a Dogma of Faith that the Church and hierarchy of Christ are perpetual. It teaches: " Therefore, if anyone says that it is not by the institution of Christ the lord himself (that is to say, by divine law) that blessed Peter should have perpetual successors in the primacy over the whole church; or that the Roman pontiff is not the successor of blessed Peter in this primacy: let him be anathema."
Practically speaking, if there has been no Pope Since 1958, or even since 2013, it renders this dogma practically useless. Therefore (in my opinion) Sedevacantism (if the factor of an empty chair since 1958 is added) is probably a thesis that is proximate to heresy.
The perpetuity of the Primacy is defined explicitly and directly in Vatican Council I (D 3056f.).
      2) The perpetuity of the Church explicitly, but indirectly, is defined by the same Council (D 3050-3052, 3056f.).
      3) The Vatican Council implicitly defined the perpetuity of the Hierarchy. For, it explicitly defined the perpetuity of the Primacy (D 3056f.). But it also defined that it is proper to the Primacy to have subordinate to itself and to govern the Pastors or Bishops of the universal Church (D 3060- 3064). Therefore there will always be Pastors or Bishops subordinate to the Primacy. This very point is taught explicitly in the prologue of the Constitution on the Church (D 3050-3052).
      4) That the hierarchical manner of the constitution of the subject of offices was established by God was defined by Pius VI in the Constitution “Auctorem fidei” and by the Council of Trent (D 2602, 1767-1770,1777).
(2). Secondly, the Council and the reforms of today, are at best "authentic Magisterium" and not infallible and therefore prone to error if they do not teach from the deposit of Faith. Sedevacantists do not make proper distinctions (in my experience) with the levels of the magisterial levels. For a great and very helpful article read: " Clear ideas on the pope's infallible magisterium" at the SSPX Website.
The SSPX is the way to go. Stay strong, press close to Christ and avoid the lies of the Devil. If you have more questions, feel free to reach out.

If you believe that the faithful can ignore the innovative heretical teachings coming from those who call themselves “bishops of Rome”, then what argument exactly do you have against the Eastern Orthodox? Don’t you know that this is exactly our point - that heretical innovations coming out of Rome or any other city are not to be adhered to? The actual Catholic and Apostolic Tradition is upheld by Jesus Christ in the Orthodox Church. You must become Orthodox if you want to be saved.

It is strange though all the Gentiles were Pagan, and had allot to do with the physical actions of how we worship to this day. . I can see the shock for you and so many but we Catholics are called idolaters in many Protastant groups. I think the truth is that the Pope is not right at this time and is preasured by fear of demanding Catholics caught in mixed Marriages, Buddhist, Hindu, Jew and so on, but instead of correcting this they demand acceptance and ileagal cooperation by the Church. These things have happened many times in Old Testament, and history repeats itself on the life of the New Testament. Stay faithful, Thank You God Bless.

There's something to be said about respecting the consciene of others while preaching the gospel to them, but the Pope himself warned about danger of prostilitization when acting with ecumenism. I wouldnt want to accept those Buddhist idols as gifts, but i wouldnt want to offend their consciences. My point being, if youre going to pull stunts like this, there needs to be more dialogue.
