    Over 20 years ago I divorced my husband. For many years, I prayed and fasted and sought spiritual direction. I was in such pain and knew it would be horrible to divorce. It was against everything I ever wanted. We had 7 kids together. Without going into details over all these many years, I have since come around to praying for marriage restoration again. I've forgiven a lot and have grown a lot and want to do God's will. He's remarried. I don't know where this will lead me with these prayers, but I figure it's worth a shot. If nothing else, I'll remain single for the rest of my life. I've already gone to confession for divorcing him and for seeking an annulment, which was granted. Please say a little prayer for me to continue on with God's grace, thanks.

    Someone stayed in her 20 year marriage and went through terrible abuse from her husband all those years. He beat her so badly one day that his pounding fist split her arm muscle and swelled her shoulder to near dislocation. He also sucker punched her face at ear near temple and she has trouble with balance and concentrating in her work. She is devout and after that last abuse she went to confession and forgave the husband but she cut ties with him. At least four different priests have told her she may annul/divorce. She loves God so much that she feared she wouldn't be allowed communion. But one priest did tell her to remain chaste and do not enter into marriage with another and she may still receive communion. Those words filled her heart with joy. She now is looking forward to living in peace without the darkness that she was subjected to for two decades.

      Christianity and Catholicism are not two separate faiths or religions. Catholics are Christian and a true Christian is Catholic. What you are most likely referring to is a Protestant and you are the one that needs to pray and fast daily for his conversion. The community can help with prayer but the true work has to come from you. May the Holy Spirit give you the grace to stay strong and faithful. God bless.

      Unfortunately even with Novus Ordo (NO) most people are still lukewarm Catholics. But if one really wants to follow Jesus' teachings, the NO masses are enough to help us be holy.
      No guarantee that TLM will make anyone more devout or a practicing Catholic. If one can't be pious via NO then TLM won't help either.
      What's important is to change ourselves interiorly and work towards sanctification by initially following God's commandments. It should not really be abt feeling amazing only when going to mass.

    • @leihope39
      @leihope39 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @@lucystephanieproperties I agree! However, I am sharing my experience as an immigrant who moved from a more conservative society (Philippines) to a very progressive, liberal, and secular culture (USA). I turned to the Catholic church for guidance, but except for a few, most Novus Ordo churches are like Protestant churches, very casual/irreverent, and some priests do not even preach on hot-button issues like abortion so as not to offend people. When the Cardinal McCarrick scandal broke, I knew it was time for us to take refuge in the Old Rite. Yes, there’s no perfect church, but at least we had found a place where I experienced the richness of our Catholic life. Mostly staffed by young priests and preaching the hard hitting truth! Courageous to lead and fight for their flock when the insanity of COVID hit and the Masses were banned. There, we saw so
      many men, young people, and big families who are open to life, with mothers taking a more traditional role of taking care and homeschooling their children away from the indoctrination of government schools. Families who are opting to live simple lives (with one income) in a very materialistic society so we can focus more on the more important things in life. I am
      Just sharing my personal experience.

    Important Notice: I am aware of the misleading article that misquotes Pope Francis on the topic of divorce. The article incorrectly states that Pope Francis said divorce can be morally necessary for some couples. In reality, Pope Francis spoke about separation being morally necessary in certain situations, not divorce.
    I’ve brought this issue to Fr. Chad’s attention, and he will address and correct this misinformation in an upcoming discussion. It’s crucial to understand the Church’s teachings accurately and not be misled by incorrect information.

    Bravo! Super like Bro. Adrian. The discussion in this episode is very relevant to the contemporary issues that we are facing today. The world is threatened by decadence and in great disorder. The anatomy of this impending disaster started centuries and centuries ago and from the countries that was considered primary sons and daughters of the catholic church and now the remaining countries considered to be catholic including the Philippines is under attack. The remnants of catholicism is at the target range. What Fr. Chad discusses on the eucharist sums up the doctrine of "lex orandi lex credendi" the way you pray is the way you believe" if you believe in the real presence of Jesus in the eucharist then you must treat it with utmost reverence, on your knee and on your tongue. If not, then just allow its particles to drop to the ground and get trampled by the mass attendees. No wonder, we are in the kind of world we are right now...let us be reminded that even the angels frustrates themselves in God's presence. If you have the chance Bro. Adrian please invite Bishop Athanasius Schneider to discuss the catholic mass. Once again kudos to you and keep the ember of the catholic faith burning. Viva Cristo Rey, viva la Virgen de Guadalupe. Watching from Edmonton, Alberta 🇨🇦

    • @BroAdrianMilag
      @BroAdrianMilag  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      You hit the nail on the head. The crisis we face today didn’t just appear overnight; it has been brewing for centuries, especially in nations that once stood as the bastions of Catholicism. Now, countries like the Philippines are under relentless spiritual attack, and the remnants of true Catholic faith are in the crosshairs.
      Fr. Chad’s discussion on the Eucharist perfectly encapsulates the doctrine of “lex orandi, lex credendi” - the way you pray truly reflects the way you believe. If we genuinely believe in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist, it demands our utmost reverence - on our knees and on our tongues. Anything less is a betrayal of our faith, allowing the sacred particles to be desecrated by carelessness. No wonder we are witnessing the spiritual decay around us.
      The angels themselves bow in reverence before God, and we, too, must show the same respect. Thank you for your powerful insight. I will certainly consider inviting Bishop Athanasius Schneider to discuss the Catholic Mass further. Together, we must keep the flame of the Catholic faith burning bright. Viva Cristo Rey, viva la Virgen de Guadalupe!

      Better if you can keep your vow. Just make act of consecration to the immaculate heart of Mary and put on your Blown scapular of our lady of mountain Carmel .
      I've no regret. I'm a man at 30 and I'm happy to have chosen a consecrated single life.
      I love children but I can only adopt and raise them up in the holy Catholic holy , that is additional for me . Religious life is so sweet if only you understand what you are doing and with holy fear of God.
      Make holy rosary your soul mate and I can assure you that victory is yours. Heaven at last , remember this.
      It's either we are saved or we are not , so don't allow anyone to confuse or influence your decision because it's between you , your soul and your eternal destination after life. ❤❤❤❤

    Recently, I watched a video on "Grace Force" with Fr Heilman and Doug Barry. Their guest was Bishop Joseph Strickland. They were discussing the "Holy Eucharist." Bishop Strickland also said "Lack of "Supernatural " Faith. I remember when Pope Benedict , also alluded to "Lack of Faith" being the cause of what was happening around him, too. As we certainly need a "Worldwide" Eucharistic Revival, we ask the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus to have Mercy on us ❤, Immaculate Heart 💙 of Mary, pray for us, Blessed Carlo Acutis and all the Angels and Saints, pray for us, Amen 🙏 💙 ❤️

    Thank you for this video, Adrian. Very informative interview. If the belief in the presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist is higher in the Philippines compared to other countries, I wish this is observed through our behavior during and after mass. Announcements of a second collection are either made immediately after the Agnus Dei and as we are preparing to received Holy Communion. This announcement is sometimes made as we are going back to our pews. Further, immediately after the priest's blessing at the end, the church is turned into a social hall. The celebration of mass is the ultimate prayer and is when we are nearest to God. Let us bring back reverence in the mass. Let us pray for holy priests. Lest us pray for the safety of priests, like Father Chad, who guide us through spiritual warfare.
