Hi everyone, I have had to moderate the comments of this video due to some people taking matters into their own hands. Love the video the station seems to be quiet ,peaceful, relaxes my mind the only thing that does sink in is that pigeon getting hit by the train at like around 70 mph
It’s actually a really good place. Most the SWR stations have island platforms in the centre so it was great to see them at speed. Unfortunately, animals do die on the railway and it is an endless problem. Thanks for watching 😃
@@StarlifeStudios It does really upset me when animals get injured not just on railways but anywhere especially animal abuse they don’t deserve to be treated that way
I live in Australia but grew up close by. In many ways Berrylands has not changed since I emigrated twenty five years ago. Back then the platforms were entirely made of wood and the station was not always manned. I guess Lower Marsh Lane is still open with ditches and and the stench of detrius from the sewerage farm nearby. Fond memories.
Berrylands reminds me of a station which is Surbiton because every time at Clapham junction I hear those swr announcements and it gets stuck in my head lol
5:01 i feel sorry for that bird😅! Berrylands is a great station as alot of trains just fly past, and is overall an amazing zone 6 station. Can you do Farnborough next? Love the videos man!
All I want is for South Western Railway to start allowing the Class 701 Arterios coming into service. But still no information on when these new trains will be entering service as the Class 455 and Class 456 have now gone for scrap.
Me too Andrew, the stock is built but has encountered many issues. Ultimately, they will eventually enter service and until then we must cherish these old BR units. Thanks for your comments Andrew 👍🏻
The flashing yellow means the trains will go into platform 3 at Surbiton. They often get diverted on to the fast lines to overtake slowers trains. For example trains that go to Hampton Court.
Both of you are of course absolutely right, in this case, the 455 was so late that it skipped stops to make up time. You can see beyond the curve here in my Surbiton video - th-cam.com/video/6YsAl2QaRF0/w-d-xo.html
@@TheArkamedBat The train probably would’ve been more than a minute late but by the time it was passing here it had made up time cause it skipped stops
Line speed is 80MPH on all lines. I'm a big fan of the 158/159s, they will soon be some of the last BR rolling stock operating out of London's terminals. Hope this helps :)
Hello, Information about destinations and origins is from Real Time Trains and the numbers are normally directly from the train (you can work it out from front and side numbers). If your planning on going out, I recommend finding your station on Traksy and using that to understand what your seeing. Hope this helps.

5:02 Poor Pigeon 😂😂😂
That was a clean strike with that pigeon at 5:00
Legend has it the crowd on the opposite platform are still waiting for their train.
5:01 Warning. Pigeon Was Hit By A Train. Send In The Rest Of The Trains. Mr. StarlifeStudios.
My Great Uncle and aunt live really close to here so when I visit I always come film the trains here
5:02 sorry pigeon😢

Great video once again, lovely to see 455s which are of course gone now. Great speed through the station and a couple of different operators.
These SWR 455s are still around Inkysquid, the Southern ones are gone. Thanks for your kind comments 🙂
@@StarlifeStudios how long have the SWR 455 units got left before they get replaced by the class 701s?
They are still alive

R.I.P bird, that driver is a M E N A C E
@@Themarmaliser How is the driver a menace? What was he supposed to do? Pull the emergency brake? Change a nonexistent point and derail the train?
Nice one! 👍🏻
Thanks David 😃👍🏻
Great Video! Looks like most of the 450s have the new SWR liveries now
Great video 👍😊
Yes a swr video can’t wait to see it
It’s been a long time coming but I’m glad I could provide. Look out for the pigeon 😃
I will
@@StarlifeStudios That 450 driver had no shame 😂
Nice railway video again
Thank you very much Imperialist. It’s not very often I get to see film SWR so I’m glad you enjoy it 🙂
@@StarlifeStudios I know what you mean, I usually don't travel along the SWML compared to the lines I do travel on.

Hopefully by the end of this year. So fingers crossed.
Great video! I shouldn’t find that pidgeon getting hit so satisfying yet it just is…
I have to say the swr 444 is sick
5:02 you can see the train hit a bird, gotta look both ways before you fly across!
Amazing
Wow I can't believe a pigeon got hit by the passing train
Your videos are class. I rate you so much!

great video! also at 5:01 a train hit a pigeon ;-;
Brilliant
10:12 Wait hold on, did I just see a 455 on the fast? I thought they ran on the slows.

Carnforth station next
Which do you prefer? The old South Western Livery or the New one?
Defo the new livery
Would like to know what line speeds are for the fast trains.
Was also nice to see the triple 158s which look very elegant in that livery
