The whole thing that got me into M43 way back when...was the intro of the Olympus EP1 and the EPL1 (bought them both in Honolulu when they first came out).
My pair of FF Sony A7c and even older A7s fill most of my current needs...(street etc in Bangkok)....Cheers

I finally ordered the G9II today. My first "modern" MFT camera but I wanted it for so many reasons, altough I have the S5IIX 😂

If Panasonic continues to perfect the dynamic range boost (like Arri), they will show that smaller sensors are competitive with larger sensors without the technology; or at the very least the quality of the image and noise will be good enough for almost any application. Keep your MFT lenses y’all Panasonic has a plan, and it is good!

As much as I love my GH5ii, I'm in desperate need of some of the new features and I can't afford to keep it alongside a GH7. I wish the GH7 had a full-width 60/50p open gate record mode...

I'm still using the GH5 and GH5 mii as my 2 main video cameras. Am I missing out on much with newer Panasonic releases?

Great video - I purchased a GH6 for video at $2,600 2 years ago - they are still this price now so I’ve lost nothing but the GH7 is $3,800 anything over $3k for me is too expensive - I love the GH6 and the look - some say the GH7 new sensor looks a bit digital and the colours are different compared to the GH6 - I’ve kept my G85 for photos
