    Quite possibly the most unnecessarily hard repair in the history of repairs I’ve considered. I attempted it before this video was uploaded, but quickly realized how difficult it would be. I’m glad someone uploaded this video. It’s clear to me, however, that this repair is a stupid one to attempt. I would recommend just breaking the little sliver metal bar across the hinge to install it. I believe there is another video where someone does this out there.

      +timitar yes we don’t do half ass repairs. This is the correct way to do it and the correct way is time consuming!

    Hmm, my beats studio a bit loose.. I am not going to fix it until it will fall apart. Too much wort for DIY. Great tutorial! thank you.

    This video was extremely helpful rarely do u find exactly wat u were looking for on TH-cam. How much do u charge for this and if i send in replacement ear cushions along with the beats will you install those as well??

    Is the unsoldering/re-soldering process fairly straight forward? My biggest concern is damaging the wires during this process and essentially permanently killing the headphones. Thank you in advance!

      Thanks for watching! The process is not entirely difficult, but we recommend taking it slow if you do not have experience in soldering.

    Mine on the board have a silicone on top of the soldered wires…What do I need to do to remove the silicone covering the wires?

      Use a small flathead and carefully remove the adhesive on the wires.

    Is there a specific type of soldering iron I should use?

      Thanks for the comment. Any soldering iron should work. Just make sure you can adjust the temperature. Our temperature is normally set to 750F.

    I did everything as said , but after putting everything back together it seems like the right ear now has less bass than the left , it doesn’t sound as high quality compared to the left side , did I do something wrong ?

    there is a little metal thingy in both head bands one side came out how do u put it in back ..ive been trying and i still havent found a vid on how to do it

    Hey Joe, the sound of my Studios (B0501) is bad. It seems right side is not so powerful as left side. I try to do some tests with frequency ranges on youtube and it seems left side is louder at around 100-200Hz. What can I do? Exchange of 1 or 2 speakers or other electrical devices? Do you have any knowledge about similiar problems? Greetings from Germany!

      Superglue may temporarily work but it can damage the beats in the future and make them harder to repair.

    so like I’m a stupid 13 year old and i don’t have the money or skill to fix my headphones btw the adjustable strappy thingy broke in half and i can’t get it out of the headband sorry if that makes no sense read the first sentence and you’ll know why it makes no sense
