Steps to fix your device.
1. Remove the two T5 screws from underneath the L and R hinge
2. Pry apart the headband and headband cushion
3. Remove the headband from its place
4. Put in the new headband [ bit.ly/2KjzBxH ]
5. Clip in the new headband cushion
6. Run the new headband cushion into the divots it's supposed to be in
7. Put in the screws into the hinges
8. Get back to jamming out 🎵

But hey, I'm just writing this down so that it says something down here, because that's more professional right?) and if you're still reading along at this point you might as well sit down and grab some popcorn because this is about to trail on about how we are this premiere repair service located in Washington State North of Seattle in basically the "Armpit of the US" near Mt Baker (Mt Baker has the world record for most snowfall at 1,140 inches in a season). Even though it can smell bad around here we love the fresh air and being near the post office and in a quiet sleepy mountain town certainly gives us much closer access to Team Turtle and Team Beaver (Watch our "Who, what, when and where is JoesGE?" video if you don't get the reference).
All this to basically say that we are all addicted to coffee and stay in the warehouse for ridiculously long hours in order to keep up with the demands of the youth for these two-sided head audio devices and speakers that float when you throw them in the ocean or in your bathtub to test if they actually float. On top of that, we do like it when less stuff ends up in landfills so we hoard everything on shelves with wheels so that we pollute less, it just sits in our warehouse losing molecules slowly over time degrading to become smaller and smaller.
If you are still reading at this point you deserve an award, or a high five, or something because you must either be the most patient person on the planet, or you read blogs frequently. And if the latter is the case, then this whole thing must seem pretty short so let's keep going.

Thank you so much for this tutorial! I finally have my headphones back in working order! A few tips from my experience in fixing my pair:
Please try prying out the foam cushion and rubbery covering all as one piece! I tried peeling the rubber cover off separately and realized the was a sticking coating on the inside. It still worked out just fine, but save yourself the sticky fingers if you can.
The other thing was that the wire connecting the ear pieces seemed too long to fit snugly in the headband, but if you extend the ear pieces to their full lengths, you can actually push the cord into them, effectively “shortening” it to length.

Is this good quality like can I trust it?
My studio 3’s have a small gap between the headband and the right hinge and it wiggles around a lot. Do you think replacing the headband would fix that? There’s also a plastic sounding crack noise when I fold the right side.

Help...I have the studio corded Non monster unmodified. How to get to work when they dont take batteries. Will they work? Are they supposed to operate while plugged into my phone? How do I get these to work...thanks

We do not recommend as it may damage the headband and the headband cushion.
For some reason when I try to place the wire connecting the earphones into the new headband, it's too long. It ends up making an arc when I put the earphones into the band. Thoughts?
Yes, try to pull down on the hinges.
So Good! Thank you, but I need replacment instructions for the the half of the band that attaches to the earcups - the inside piece snapped off and flew - I nail-glued and clear-taped it for now, and I found the replacement part at Amazon but how to safely replace the broken one - Beats Studio 3. Black with gold/tan inside band.

This is wonderful! I might replace the headphones - my insurance may cover it, but it would still be worth it to repair the broken ones for backup if possible, and IF the cost is not high. Can you give me very general idea of the cost for replace both hinges?
So my solo 2 wireless has one side that has less volume than the other and when I move it into a certain position it works. Would this be a wiring issue and how much would it be to repair

I think the main black wire that connects the two ear buds was pulled out extra when mine broke, I can’t get the wire to fit in the new headband. Measured it against the old and I can confirm they’re the same size, just pulled extra wire when I initially damaged these. Suggestions?

What do you do if your screws are destroyed?
Did you strip the screws? Use a small rubber band, put it over the top of the screw and use the screwdriver to try to get the screw out.
Are the Studio 2 and Studio 3 headband the same build @JoesGaming&electronics

i broke mine right there too but i can’t get the original screws out since i can’t bend the cushion part in to show the screws.

I got them to bend try to push up with a thin flat screwdriver where the hinge bends
The pieces of my headband broke and I think are stuck in the hinge, any ways to get them out, I can close the hinge to remove the screws

The screws in my Beats3 were put it incredibly tight. Two have stripped, and one broke in half. Is there a way to get replacement screws?

Wouldd anyone be able to distinguish the name/size of the nails that are removed and screwed back into the headphones after you replace the band? My beats studio work perfectly, however the nails fell off on one side causing the right side to fall off and bend backwards due to no nail support. Any guidance will help!

Thanks for the comment. You can try and apply heat to the hinges and remove the broken parts in order to remove the plastic. Also, make sure you unscrew the 2 scews on the hinges.

Hi Joe, my Studio3 are broken on the left side just above the hinge part, everything is in place, nor falling or anything, but it snapped and now when I bend them to put them on, the left side bends a bit more just above the hinge/metallic like part, where it connects to the headband. Would this video repair fix that as well? I can send you pics/video for better assessment. thanks !

@@jaydenlusco7591 they told me I had to send mines and they would just replace them at a charge of $199 plus shipping. So, almost buying brand new ones. Does not make sense to me they can not repair them when others (non apple) can.
