Thank you so much for this tutorial! I finally have my headphones back in working order! A few tips from my experience in fixing my pair: Please try prying out the foam cushion and rubbery covering all as one piece! I tried peeling the rubber cover off separately and realized the was a sticking coating on the inside. It still worked out just fine, but save yourself the sticky fingers if you can. The other thing was that the wire connecting the ear pieces seemed too long to fit snugly in the headband, but if you extend the ear pieces to their full lengths, you can actually push the cord into them, effectively “shortening” it to length.

shipping is very expensive
International shipping is expensive. Domestic shipping is free.
Damn the broken part is stuck
Thanks for the comment. You can try and apply heat to the hinges and remove the broken parts in order to remove the plastic. Also, make sure you unscrew the 2 scews on the hinges.

🤔
For some reason when I try to place the wire connecting the earphones into the new headband, it's too long. It ends up making an arc when I put the earphones into the band. Thoughts?
Yes, try to pull down on the hinges.
