A important note is that after the S2000 came out. Porsche bought one to study the N/A engine response and delivery. What impressed them most was the Manual Transmission with how smooth it shifted. They went to Honda and asked them to help improve their Manual transmission.

Great great experiment. Love it ...7psi spring tho will limit you badly . You need to use a 11psi spring.. or 14 if you don't care for low gear more power... My kit came with an 7psi waste gate spring 4yrs ago when I purchased it. My first dyno session was 433hp 310 torque @14psi stock k20a2 with 300k+ highway miles. 1year later I did a k24/20 still stock everything I made 528hp 372 torque, @18psi tuner couldn't go any higher he would up boost and car make same or less. So I upgraded the waste gate spring too 14psi spring and hop back on the dyno I made 726hp@ 535torque @26psi just by changing the wastegate spring . 2years and driving no issues. I daily it sometimes and race it at times .. I've never had any issue so far besides clutch change once..

Just from my own experience with the Kennedy kits... If you purchased your flywheel from Kennedy verify that your flywheel bolt depth is right for your application... I received my adapter kit and the factory spec flywheel bolts from the oem motor were 5mm too long for the flywheel. Kennedy's flywheel turned out to be 5mm slimmer than the factory flywheel. Not noticing the difference initially, I put some miles on the swap, and during that time it friction welded the flywheel and the end of the crank together. I caught the error before too much damage had been done, but damage resulted the same. also the plate needed reliefs made into it in order to sit flat, flat on the engine.. food for thought.

I'd bet you'd gain 10-15 hp by just building an intake that utilizes to factory air intake in the hood. With your filter buried down there around all that exhaust piping you're leaving power on the table. Mighty car mods just did a video of a cam swap on an LS bmw and during the dyno session they really show the difference of intake location and HP.

Brilliant car and a smart move. Don’t listen to people who say “you should have kept the 3.8” this was a much smarter move even if you decide to turn that thing up and or forge internals your still in this for 1/20th price of Porsche. And a much better power plant

I watched the video and just subbed. It wasn't mentioned in the video, but do you know what the front vs rear weight distribution is now compared to how it was with the original flat 6 that came from the factory?

That adapter plate was because of me. KEP didn’t make one until 2018 when I finally convinced the project manager to make one after 6 years of trying. They kept telling me no one is dumb enough to swap a Honda into a Porsche. They had the specs for the trans because of the LS swap, but didn’t have any of the specs for the engine so I had to ship them an engine to spec the starter and flywheel. I had them do it for my VW bug with a g96 trans and k20 engine. Mine still isnt done which sucks but at least I was right on there being a “need” for this adapter plate.

We need more builds like this. People who can think out of the box instead of worshipping a car brand.
