I camp in a tent and car camp, don't think it really matters as long as it works for the individual in reality. I love car camping for the sheer factor it feels more safer although it may not be, that's how it feels for me as a solo female tent and car camper. I started basic, now after 3 years I have luxuries, because I can with the hard earned cash I work for. I have a power station, ridge monkey, and a made to fit foam mattress (had a basic mats and pads in car prior, very uncomfortable if for more than one night in car.) Tent camping funny enough, mats and pads are great but not in a car for comfort. Stay blessed and safe everyone whether you tent or car camp. 🇬🇧
In nice weather it doesn’t take much. I car hiked the western US in 1969 with a pillow and a LL Bean blanket. I ate cheese burgers, drank from mountain streams and gas stations. I made it just fine for six months!
I have a Dodge Nitro. With my seats down, a full size bed area. I plan on doing a small trip where I live towards the east then a longer trip towards the west. I have an air mattress, but I will consider getting a mattress topper.
I want to do something similar with my car. That way if I ever take a trip somewhere, I can sleep in my car instead of renting a motel. Plus if I decide to go camping at a state park or something, it'd be more comfortable than a tent since the car already has air conditioning, heat, and it won't get wet inside when it rains.
I use to do the same thing in my Jeep until I bought a truck and camper no complaints though I went all over the place and camp out hunting trip and fishing trips
Hahaha. The thing is you can get by with the blankets and pillows on your bed when you're on a budget! Having a good sleeping bag isn't always essential, but it is a nice bonus.
It’s $40 for a basic budget setup (foam pad, sheet, and shades for privacy) you can glamp it up however you want after that. I like to bring a warm sleeping bag and extra blankets for comfort but it’s not necessary! You can save money by using what you already have 😁
What do you like to bring car camping?
I camp outside. Not in my car. 💀
@@UltraMagaFan I also like to camp outside🤘🏼
Well u would think someone knows who u are an knows ur in the car they might break in

Hi mate I’m also from the UK and looking into car camping, do you have tips for a first timer up north

It’s so true. You really only need a few things!
Hell yea

Negative thought bring negative results-js
Angel blessings to all enjoying nature!❤
I love this! Do you have a longer video of it? Was the goal
Pad enough to be comfortable even over the part where the seats come down?
I don't have a longer video! The pad is comfy and thick enough but I do like to put an extra foam pad under for extra comfort.
I am a new follower of your channel Greetings from Sweden 😊
Hii. Welcome! 👋🏼

It's a great way to save money and wake up in some incredible places!
I have that same exact sleeping bag and it is the best out there.
I really like it as a sometimes side sleeper!
I use to do the same thing in my Jeep until I bought a truck and camper no complaints though I went all over the place and camp out hunting trip and fishing trips
We love an upgrade!
nice setup
i have a proace with a home made bed a 400 dollar mattress and an ikea shelf for storage
Yes, Ikea has some great options for making a DIY camper.
Nice
Car camping is awesome!
Except for your $200 sleeping bag haha 😂 but I like your set up we’re looking to do the same thing to our car

Me over here using four towels as a sleeping pad, i need some memory foam, lol
Honestly if it works!! But yeah if you can one of these pads they’re super affordable
I want to try this Car Camping thing but i'm worried about suffocating even if i crank the windows down a bit for ventilation. What shuold i do?
I saw someone who brings a carbon monoxide detector with them. I thought that was so smart!
What car do you have?
Where did you buy the pad?
It’s got it in a store called Fred Meyers (it’s a superstore)
I bring a rv when I’m camping and I’ll show you how much it is for me to go up😁
Glamping!
whats the brand of your suv?
It's a Chevy HHR.
What kind of sleeping bag as far as the degrees?
I use a 20 degree, my summer camping bag
What’s your car type?
This was a Chevy hhr
What car is it though?
Chevy HHR
Which car is it?
This is a Chevy hhr
What lights do you like?
I use the Revel Gear Trail Hound lights! They are super lightweight and plug into a usb charger. They can get easily tangled which can be annoying.
So its actually more like $80
...and??😢
Too lazy to pitch a tent 😂
That is not 40 dollars
