Brilliant. I am a bit of a novice. Hoping to go and do this in July. Worried about the ascent from striding edge up to the summit. Is it as bad as the videos & photos. Thanks
Wow fantastic stunning views... Had you done this route before... I want to do it.... What experience do you need apart from a head for heights and be physically fit.... Those views stunning seriously....
Hi André , we travelled by car on this occasion but I believe it's possible to get there via public transport - there's a bus from Windermere that takes you into Thirlmere or Grasmere where you can start the walk. Hope you have an amazing time!
Woah James, that's an incredible view! I'll be posting a video tomorrow about a little hike up the tallest mountain in the country and I've been posting consistently on Wednesdays for the last couple of weeks and hope you can support!
Hey Heather, thanks for watching! I’ve been subscribed to your channel for a while now and watched both your recent videos :) Look forward to watching your hike video today!
Looked great😀
A wonderful video, brings back my own experience of climbing it in 1974.
Wow, absolutely gorgeous views! Looked like a beautiful day for a hike too! Making me want to get out there and explore some more!

I went up the same way last September, my first mountain at the age of 46.....it's Red Tarn down the side of Striding Edge 🙂
Good for you!!
I was supposed to do it this year, until the Corona kicked in, now doing it next year, at 53!
It will be 42yrs since i last did it...

It looks gorgeous!! I want to visit this peak going from London as well. Were you able to do everything via public transport?

You mention that it took you six hours. Was that six hours for the return trip or just the ascent?
Hi Lesley, it was 6 hours in total for the return trip with a few stops. Definitely worth doing if you can :)
