They are not expensive you Americans are fortunate that you pay sweet fanny Adams for 90*% of your Hifi... Welcome to the real World... as to what the rest of the world has to pay is absorbent.....So stop complaining
Absolutely outstanding production quality; Hollywood beware! Both great amps, but... 45% MSRP (relative to Japan) increase in the USA/CANADA markets makes me look elsewhere.
@@JNElectrics Since in the US they are priced exactly the same and now that it is available do you think you might do that comparison; if it is not available to you to test given the new specs, which to my eye do not appear to be so different, intuitively do you think the E-4000 would win again? Is there a chance you will be reviewing the Mark Levinson 585.5 integrated with phono perhaps against the E-800?
@@JNElectrics I just remembered Esoteric has released the F-02 integrated with built in phono to replace the F-05 which had been on the market for 6 years; also priced the same as the Luxman L 509Z and the Accuphase E-4000; it would be amazing and wonderful if you did all 3 at the same time, then, at the end, you could rank them first place second place and third place
Saludos.
Both of these brands are too expensive in the US compared to Japan! The price for accuphase is over the top and not worth it! Both companies do make beautiful high-quality products!
Comparing Luxman to Accuphase itself is a huge disgrace and humiliation to Accuphase lol Luxman is a Chinese company and Accuphase is 100% Japanese. Strict parts and highest sound reproduction expectations. Luxman is just some commercial amplifiers you can find in the same category as Marantz or Denon. I would strongly recommend Denon PMA-SX11 or PMA-A110 if you need it with tone controls at only a fraction of the price In Japan, Accuphase is for serious audio enthusiasts and Luxman is for rich beginners that are clueless of what "audio" is all about LOL Now you know why Accuphase is more expensive.
Luxman is a Japanese company located in Yokohama, Japan. Production also takes place in Japan. You are misinformed I guess. Marantz, Denon and Yamaha are one class below the level of Accuphase and Luxman.
Quite possibly the hardest 8 minute watch I’ve ever had.
you are one of the lucky ones

what mate did you mean?

Do Specifications equate to better sound?
Good
But if you like the Luxman type sound, you can't get that from Accuphase.
❤❤❤
I think the Luxman L 509Z should have been the model used for comparison
The Luxman L-509Z was not yet released when the content of this video was created.

Video effects are distracting.
The video maker MUST consider putting subtitle. Basically impossible for me, as a non native English speaker, to understand his accent.
did you turn on the CC ???
yes i did
Is there anything you don't understand?
CC means Closed captioning. it is located at the bottom of the screen (on the opposite of Play) . just click on it , and you'll get the caption.
Watching L_507z n E4000
ok
