Matthew Boyd just bought this phone yesterday as a backup device. It's fairly snappy and my biggest gripe is the HTC keyboard. The haptic feedback is way too strong. I installed the Google keyboard and dialed down the vibration. Pictures are good in bright light settings and decent in low light. I have about 30 apps installed with about 7 gigs of internal storage left. Apps load fairly quick and I haven't had any app crashes yet. Multitasking is good with 1.5 gigs of RAM usually have about 300 to 500 gigs free with 8 apps open. The front facing speaker is a average.

i had this before like a year ago this phone is for social media it is not for gaming so if your looking for the phones that are for social media or youtube kind of things its for you but if your looking for gaming phone it is probably and obviously not for you if you want to get some gaming phones get samsung galaxy c9 pro it has 6 gb ram and 64 gm internal storage it also has fingerprint sensor and if your phone is off you just need to put the finger on it you dont need to click the home button

Pretty decent for its price, I'd recommend a slim portable charger to get with it because of its small battery (which isn't terrible btw but not that great), and it charges very fast so include that external charger and turn off windows animations in developer settings to make it more faster

Hamed Essam lasts around 4 to 6 hours depending on app use. Stock I got around 6 hours total of the screen being on but with apps it fell back a bit

i think this is just fine, looks like it'll hit prepaid providers like Boost and Virgin mobile. I'm on Virgin and i "downgraded" from a galaxy s5 to the galaxy j3. The J3's a perfectly fine phone and i easily swapped my 128GB sd card from phone to phone ^_^

I bought the phone around October last year, cost me $228 AUD but it is cheaper now, people have been getting it for around $70 AUD. While it's cheap, I would never recommend this phone to anyone, it's a waste of money. Battery life is awful, I have to charge it 3-4 times daily just to make it last the day. Charging also stopped working properly within 3 months of owning the phone and now takes upwards of 4 hours to charge from around 25% up to 100% and will only charge in certain positions (If you move the phone even slightly while it's charging it will stop charging). Phone constantly overheats to the point where it has to be put in the fridge to cool down. And guess what? Last month my built-in speakers and microphone no longer work, so I can't make phone calls unless I have an external microphone plugged in to the aux jack. I haven't even had the phone for a year and I'm now moving onto a Google Pixel in the next weeks coming. Not to mention the phone is very slow when you have a few apps, mostly because of the non uninstallable stock apps that come with the phone and take up most of the space.

Other "mid range" phones are offering clock speeds faster then 1.1 Gigahertz, having a quad core at such a low speed will make the phone more or less worse then the Desire 626. Which is pretty bad.
It's Ram isn't gonna help much considering it's anemic 1.5 gigabytes is about 500 megabytes off the norm for Android today.
What good will boom sound be when Google Play freezes due to blink feed being enabled?
Then it's internal storage. After updating the phone you will have roughly 8 Gigs of storage left to play with. Don't worry, that 9.0 megapixel camera won't fill it to quick, if it doesn't freeze on you, you know, because it's Ram and processing speed can't keep up.
Then HTC's Sense. The most over bloated launcher, most resource hungry POS ever designed. Good thing it has a pretty clock widget! To bad you will not use it when you switch to Google Now launcher.
Right after you remove the preloaded bloatware and disable unwanted apps from ever auto starting.
Yeah, this is Low end for sure.
