I could write a book about this video man. Honestly, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I’m a cleanliness freekazoid just like you and I’m especially careful with older tech that is no longer in production just like you as well. Even though PS2 was sold by the millions, I still hope as many as possible are somehow some way preserved. PS2 era corresponds with my childhood and I have the brightest memories from both the console and the games it had to offer. I don’t even know how many hours I spent on PS2 games in my lifetime, but if we had Steam around to count I’d assume that I would have had like 1000+ hours each in Burnout 3: Takedown, both Champions of Norrath games, and GTA:SA… The sheer amount of effort and care that went into this process is just astounding. This video was a burst of positive emotions for me, because I relived some of the memories I mentioned above while also seeing somebody who is so enthusiastic about these things as well. I thought you were a huge channel by the way, and was surprised to see there were only 3 videos on your channel. I was already impressed that, like me, you have crazed, OCD like tendencies, but when you touched up the paint on the power switch, my soul smiled.
今まで見てきた中で最高のクリーニング動画でした!🇯🇵
Thank you so much 😊 🤍❤️
Increíble trabajo. Cuanto tiempo debió haberte llevarte hacer este video ufff es un placer ver todo el video. Saludos desde Argentina.
Thank you so much my friend from Argentina 💙🤍💛, it took about a month but not full time
@@RestoFix Excelente sigue así.
🙏🤍💙💛🙏
This is soooo satisfying. I love watching restoration videos, but there's just another level of satisfaction when there's a thorough attention to quality, also seen in how your tools look and are organized. Just *chefs kiss*.
BRAZIL MENTIONED!
Of course 💚💛💙
The girl from ipanema will be happy.
Brazil 🇧🇷 let's go! greetings from Brazil 🇧🇷 friends
i wish you did less aggressive cuts with video effects because it makes one a bit queasy to watch, but i understand thats a part of your aesthetic. i really dig these kinds of videos and it shows that you put a lot of attention and time into the detail of the work that you do. :)
U are right and I will do in the next video 🙏🤍💙
Wish you could clean my PS4 it's rotten and you are amazing at what you do , love the videos brother ❤ subbed ❤
Damn, its in better shape now than when it was first purchased
That reminds me; I probably have to dig my own PS2 out of mothballs and clean the hell out of it too.
Now, that's true restoration!...props to you!!.......I was wondering.... how long did it took you to finish this job?
Glad you enjoyed 🤍💙, it took about a month but not full time,
@RestoFix Honestly, there's not a lot of people that would do a job like yours!! Amazing restoration...it practically looks brand new.
Thank you Bro, it is encouraging u say that 💙
I have never seen anyone restore a device with such precision and professionalism. It is unbelievable and deserves all respect from Algeria.
Top! You are the best my friend!
You are the best Bro🤍💙😉
55:14 It’s all worth it just for *this* moment! 🎼🎶🎵🙂↕️ Ahhh…😌
I was literally about to type the same thing! Ohh them sounds, take me back to some joyful times!
You just know that PS2 was so happy once it turned back on, doing gods work out here man!
Where was this console? It's so dusty and dirty it makes me think it was in some garage or storage area for years. Fantastic job with the restoration!
thank you so much, I bought it from a game console serviceman, I don't know how did he had kept it 💙🤍
My N64 looked woree than that, and all it did was sit under the telly in the spare room for ten years. Dust gets everywhere, and it loves electronics.
the equivalent of blowing into Nintendo cartridges
The most soothing I've watched all week. Highly impressed and wish I was back in 2003 reliving the glory years
0:12 and thats a broken fan
15:25 Filling motors with IPA will remove all the remaining grease. Not sure how long it will last for.
I have greased it but didn't record unfortunately 🙏🙏🙏💙🤍
This really gives you an appreciation for the hardware. It seems so simple but it’s actually such a complicated and impressive device.
55:24 That Cut! 🤔
that effect means the cd is not running and the logo at the end is not ps2. So the games graphics are more like ps1 than ps2
Wtf happened to the PS2 it looks defeated depleted and deleted 0:34 jokes aside bro you need to be hired by someone
Also it’s not like I searched for anything “PS2” or “restoration” related either, this right here is the absolute rarest gem that TH-cam recommendations give you once in a blue moon, almost like an early Christmas present lol
This thing must be even cleaner than when it came from the factory. Holy hell, the attention to the details. Absolutely phenomenal work!
This gives perspective on just how much crazy amount of work goes into making one of these. Halfway through, I expected you to start decomposing parts to clean the atoms!
I've cleaned out loads of consoles in the past but never to this extent, the amount of detail and depth that went into this is fantastic.
I came in out of curiosity and seeing that it was a very long video, I said... "I watch it for 10 minutes, I fast-forward it to see how it looks and that's it" and the video was really so hypnotic that without realizing it I watched it completely. Your work is admirable. I would just like to know how much time it took you to complete the entire process.
Greetings from Argentina.
This is in my opinion the highest level of master cleaning !!!!! I never seen someone restore completely everything !
You took something that most definitely wasn't functioning at all due to several catastrophic failures and turned it around into something that has a lot of life breathed back into it. And made it quite nice too. Good work!
If not already, you have gained me as a subscriber.
I'm sure I heard that playstation at the end crying an saying " Thankyou ! " before you turned it on .. Bless it ! Elite class cleaning .. applauds !
This is unbelievable!
Excellent restoration!
Congratulations from Brazil!
Man applying fresh tape to the labels is serious dedication, this must have taken ages. I tip my hat to you sir
the amount of detail and attention he puts into it is incredible, even the screw was cleaned, Good Restoration
Dude, any compliments you might get to your work will pale in comparison to what you actually did here! holy sh*t! amazing! Keep it up.
"Thank you so much for the kind words! That’s such a heartwarming compliment, I don’t think I deserve it, but I really appreciate it!"
Well my friend, my greatest respect. Such a thorough and professional maintenance of electronic equipment I have not yet seen on the Internet. I am very positively impressed. You have set my new standard of professionalism in this field. My warmest regards.
Dude, it's really the most beautiful model of the PS2. I love watching your work. Hi from Brazil.
diese sounds beim start... flashbacks ans jung sein..unvergessen! love it!
Hello, I am from Iran. I enjoyed your video very much. I don't know which country you are from, but if you were near me, I would definitely bring you my ps2 for repair. The whole time I was watching your video I wanted to fix my ps2 like this and I realized it during the music break. You used to listen to Homayun Shajarian's heavy makeup, which was a source of pride. Finally, thank you for creating your content. I really enjoyed it.
بابک جان سلام، خوشحالم از ویدیو خوشت اومد، اگه ایران بودم حتما کنسولتو برات صفر میکردم، هر وقت برگردم یک کنسول صفر طلبم داری داداش 😉🤍💙

Whatever retro consoles I find, I want this guy to restore them. Excellent and thorough cleaning. Great work!
Idk how well I can describe it but this gives the same sense of satisfaction as those animal doctor videos where they sheer animal hooves and clean them up. Like, you know that Ps2 is feeling so much relief and happiness after this
The greatest console to ever exist
The term "Goat" was specifically made for the PS2 🐐
This video satisfies like 10 different subreddits, so many awesome things to appreciate in this, you did a wonderful job friend
Brazilian here! Wish out soccer team played like you did in the end. Incredible work man! Been hypnotised watching each detail 😅
