Htc are the most reliable phones ive ever used. I upgraded to the Samsung s6 and to be honest I miss my HTC m9. Got yo wait until next year to upgrade back to htc and I can't wait. Samsung was a glitchy let down to me.

Since 2013 actually with the M7. But it's HTC's gradual evolution. Not a bad thing. This one is the closest thing to perfect for the much loved, and MUCH copied, HTC design.

I got the HTC M7 at launch because I fell in love with in at first sight. I didn't like the M8 because of how long it was and the dual camera thing was kinda awkward. The M9 looked alright but they were still struggling with the camera and I don't like on-screen buttons. However, the HTC 10 looks like it's coming back. I like the placement of the buttons. The look of it is still HTC but a little more unique. HTC Sense one of the best stock skins out there for its simplicity. And YES! They brought back the capacitive buttons! They got rid of the HTC logo at the front that kinds took up space for no reason. They even tried to work around some sacrifices they had to make like the front facing speakers. Looks like they might have a winner but we'll have to see about the camera too.

I have the S7 Edge , amazing phone all around. But since im an audiophile and also like to plug my phone into my cars Aux jack and blast music, the S7 Edge doesnt cut it for me anymore. So im switching to HTC 10. However what you may seek in a phone may be different. I dont mind trading my waterproofness for Audio. Its not like I ever NEEDED water proof anyway. Ive only ever uses that feature to take an underwater video lol. HTC for me
I think it looks great. And trust me, phones always look way better in real life for some reason, even if it's being filmed by a RED camera. I didn't think the One M9 looked all that great in videos, but it looked amazing in real life.

looking forward to hearing what you have to say. I loved my M7 and have been disappointed with the M9 because of software issues early on and display issues since. Boomsound speakers were nice but this looks really promising.
some Taiwanese sites saying there's a theater mode for the htc 10 BoomSound speakers, so in addition to the high / low frequency separation music mode the theater mode switches to the conventional stereo setup (left / right channel separation)
I'm a samsung fan but I must admit I love that chamfered edge on that htc, looks classy and I'd love to hear that sound solution ( great idea ). The minimum bloat ware is great too. Nice htc.
HTC clearly has audio and camera performance in mind, the new rear sensor nearly on par with my V10's shooter and external speaker audio guaranteed to outbest the V10's solitary bottom sound blaster. As for headphone jack performance, I'm still gonna need to give it a listen as I already know HTC likes putting more power behind their headphone ports for louder sound but tops out at 24-bit, which my V10 destroys with the separate ESS DAC chip which results in very little to no audible static with headphones and ability to power higher resistance cans, though with weaker voltage behind the headphone jack itself. Either way, HTC's got my interest once more and I'll keep my eye on this 10. Let's hope their marketing machine is up to spec this time, now that they have cameras (especially that glorious front shooter with OIS) and sound to distinguish themselves from the S7 and G5.
Watching this video, while constantly peeking at my 6P, wondering if I should upgrade. Phone looks amazing. Not sure about the speaker setup but all else (especially the slimming down of the apps) is what has been needed for a long long time!
I used to have the original HTC by TMobile before it got stolen. Yes - that phone had its problems, some of the major ones being no expandable storage, slow performance once storage became full, and the camera absolutely sucked. But I loved that phone. It felt solid in the hand, it didn't shatter and I actually dropped in on the street once! It has thus far, been my favorite, even though I have a Note 4 which I love. I really hope HTC can get going once again with this new model, because their ideas are great, the execution just needs some work!
HTC's been rehashing the same hardware design for at least 4 years, but I'm not complaining; it's gorgeous. The OS skin looks pretty crispy as well. When he first turned the phone to the front, I could have licked my computer screen. I'm just terrified of fingerprint sensors on phones. Just one step closer to the mark of the beast...
Great move by HTC, I used to hate dealing with the 2 calendar apps on my M7, no matter what I did u would get double notifications, etc. This looks like a very promising phone.

I prefer HTC's default music player by far over play music anything else out there. (I use an LG G4 btw)

Finally htc came up with something worthwhile! been an m8 user forever, (had 2 of them) and the m9 and A9 were just off, I'm def getting the M10 now!

looking forward to hearing what you have to say. I loved my M7 and have been disappointed with the M9 because of software issues early on and display issues since. Boomsound speakers were nice but this looks really promising.
some Taiwanese sites saying there's a theater mode for the htc 10 BoomSound speakers, so in addition to the high / low frequency separation music mode the theater mode switches to the conventional stereo setup (left / right channel separation)

I'm a samsung fan but I must admit I love that chamfered edge on that htc, looks classy and I'd love to hear that sound solution ( great idea ). The minimum bloat ware is great too. Nice htc.

HTC clearly has audio and camera performance in mind, the new rear sensor nearly on par with my V10's shooter and external speaker audio guaranteed to outbest the V10's solitary bottom sound blaster. As for headphone jack performance, I'm still gonna need to give it a listen as I already know HTC likes putting more power behind their headphone ports for louder sound but tops out at 24-bit, which my V10 destroys with the separate ESS DAC chip which results in very little to no audible static with headphones and ability to power higher resistance cans, though with weaker voltage behind the headphone jack itself.
Either way, HTC's got my interest once more and I'll keep my eye on this 10. Let's hope their marketing machine is up to spec this time, now that they have cameras (especially that glorious front shooter with OIS) and sound to distinguish themselves from the S7 and G5.
Watching this video, while constantly peeking at my 6P, wondering if I should upgrade. Phone looks amazing. Not sure about the speaker setup but all else (especially the slimming down of the apps) is what has been needed for a long long time!

I used to have the original HTC by TMobile before it got stolen. Yes - that phone had its problems, some of the major ones being no expandable storage, slow performance once storage became full, and the camera absolutely sucked. But I loved that phone. It felt solid in the hand, it didn't shatter and I actually dropped in on the street once! It has thus far, been my favorite, even though I have a Note 4 which I love. I really hope HTC can get going once again with this new model, because their ideas are great, the execution just needs some work!

HTC's been rehashing the same hardware design for at least 4 years, but I'm not complaining; it's gorgeous. The OS skin looks pretty crispy as well. When he first turned the phone to the front, I could have licked my computer screen. I'm just terrified of fingerprint sensors on phones. Just one step closer to the mark of the beast...

Great move by HTC, I used to hate dealing with the 2 calendar apps on my M7, no matter what I did u would get double notifications, etc. This looks like a very promising phone.
HTC straight up owned Apple and Samsung a couple years ago. I hope they can make a comeback with this and take on the S7 and iPhone 7 this year.
