I really liked this video, had lots of very good information. there are so many things to remember when looking for a girlfriend. even in the states, looking for a girlfriend is difficult. I'm still in the states, dreaming of the day I can move to the philippines. my son, his wife (filipina), and his 2 younger children, (my grandkids), might be moving there in a couple years. they want me to move there with them. I'm already 72, single, don't date, just relaxing doing whatever I want anymore. It's intriguing to think about living in a different country, especially knowing my daughter in-law wants me to move there, so she can keep an eye on me. I'm in good health here in the states, but moving to a different country, different foods, climate changes, who know what the future will bring. My son told me to relax when we move there, and eventually, if I wanted, find a nice lady for myself. If I did look for a girlfriend, she'd have to be more mature, and if she had kids, they'd have to be grown already. I'm in no hurry to be in a relationship with just any girl, there would need to be something there, like what you were talking about. hopefully, others will watch your vlog and take heed in its content.

Christian, loyal, trustworthy, dedicated, devoted, you become their number 1 "task" in life. Now the difference for me would be I don't want any more children of my own. And I prefer she has no kids but I am not closing the door completely that she has a kid. It's what I do in my current life anyway 6 non profit youth org. So her having kids more than likely won't be a deal breaker but hoping no younger than 5 and no more than 2. I want to do a lot of traveling, all over the PI and other countries. Good girl, bad girl, province girl, bar girl, western girl, eastern girl are just different flavors in my opinion. We are playing a game and fools lose. You have a pile of chips and have to decide how big you are going to make your bet. If you do like Mike here and commit what you can afford the worst thing that will happen is you will realize she's not the one. I used to gamble with the bar girls and get frightening warning from my shipmates. When I would lose they would tell me they told me so. But the girls loved it and their smiles filled me with joy. I didn't lose anything, I was just playing a game, and I never gambled, I was paying for entertainment. On a side note, I always have a bit of a cringe when I think about disparaging the immoral lower class of society. The bar girls, the bar goers, the poor, the scammers, the seedy. I cringe because I'm talking about me. The poor kid from a broken home hustling to survive, the drunken sailor. The father and husband who always felt out of place in the decent family I raised. I came from that enviroment and I loved those people as kin. True friends, best friends who will share everything when everything matters. Qualities people who have had easy lives may have never experienced.

She would never work. I found her 50 jobs and she never lasted more than a week,and it was always was some one elses fault. My Filipino girl found me via my brother. She works outside the Philippines and has flown a great deal of the time. She has been on boats, buses, trains and all the other modes of transportation. So, travel is not an issue for her. She has all her passports, work visas, national id's and checking (ATM) account. I rented a house for us all to live in, her three boys are living there now. She already owns a motorbike (scooter) that the boys use. I have intention of buying a van (dual cab) when I get there. She may start up a business in the market that her and the boys can operate, but I told her she won't be running it full time, as I want to travel with her. Thanks for your videos. I'm getting married K-1 my life insurance will be switched to her name plus in my state a wife cant be left out of a will. I get the lady who uses 400x leverage in trading across the sites. I used cupid and then I got the same concept on tender. Seems like a way for someone to look for a way to say it's in your best interest that they steal money or something.
Hey Mike/Janet, good sound advice, there are a lot of similarities when it comes to finding a compatible mate, and much of what you say is universal in a guy's quest to find that special someone. The differences include a mixture of culture and the specifics of being in the Philippines in terms of lifestyle and what you are willing to put up with. Anyway, all good advice, it's always good to have these sorts of reminders.

Hi Mike, you should do one on what prescriptions you can get there without to much trouble. For example I’m on ambien for insomnia, I think it’s called stillnox there. How much trouble is it to get there? Also many of us in our age bracket are on blood pressure and cholesterol meds. Those are life sustaining, so it’s pretty darn important to not hear the words- out of stock sir. Missing a few times of those could mean we’ll be out of this realm.😳
I don't think those kinds of meds ever run out of stock here. There are lots of big pharmaceutical companies here in the Phillipines aside from the small ones.

He doesn't realize it's a 1 in 75 million chance he will win. Personally I prefer the PLAN that avoids HIGH RISK. A very good and in depth video. But... how do I plan to move in the Philippines for the express purpose to find a wife? Do I land in the capital and then have to take a flight to some island? I *want to avoid city girls at all costs* . Where are some good destinations for those country girls? Once I am at the destination, how do I find a girl who is available to be married? so no city girls..in the province it is harder to meet but I think first you find a place to live then start walking and talking. Make friends with older ladies shop owners ect. If they like you they will introduce you to single family members. The old fashion way visit a church

On the other hand the comment about the Philippine women preferring white men because it gives a lighter complexion to their babies, it's not quite true. I would never take out a gf from work as thats a huge responsibility. Specially in the Philippines. There is no guarantee after several months or years you don't brake up and than you can run. Also very bad to start a relationship with giving her salary, very unhealthy plus you have to think about her future to stay in work rather be your escort.

Age inappropriate relationships appear to be endemic in the Philippines and Thailand. However, does Filipina girls date dark skin expats as a norm or is it rare? I am a Black American, 70-years of age, in pretty good health, and receive 2 retirement checks each month. Hi jimmy I ask Janet your question as she says it's more the attitude that anything else since I've been in the philippines one thing I have noticed all the applications like your visa or you driver's license they do not ask your race they ask where were you born and what country your a citizen of. I personally have not seen any discrimination in the Philippines I personally do not have any Black friends here in the Philippines to ask your question but I have seen a few Black expats in the mall, downtown dumaguete and hypermart with a filipina girlfriends I've also noticed in Cebu City and in Bohol so to be totally honest, I do not think what race you are will cause any problems here I do not see any discrimination at all in the Philippines that is from what I have seen so far. I agree with you 100 percent in every thing you say. I trust my wife with my life!! I couldnt say that about my first filipina wife that l brought to the u.s. in 1993 and divorced in 2018. She would never work. I found her 50 jobs and she never lasted more than a week,and it was always was some one elses fault. GOOD RIDDENCE!! so this time I did my best to find the right girl for me,and I got lucky THANK GOD! and I do believe its luck!

My Filipino girl found me via my brother. She works outside the Philippines and has flown a great deal of the time. She has been on boats, buses, trains and all the other modes of transportation. So, travel is not an issue for her. She has all her passports, work visas, national id's and checking (ATM) account. I rented a house for us all to live in, her three boys are living there now. She already owns a motorbike (scooter) that the boys use. I have intention of buying a van (dual cab) when I get there. She may start up a business in the market that her and the boys can operate, but I told her she won't be running it full time, as I want to travel with her. Thanks for your videos. She cant your social security benefits until she live in America 5 yr age 62 half your benefits. i heard expats buying life insurance for a wife or girlfriend so when they pass she has something regardless of age gap. I'm getting married K-1 my life insurance will be switched to her name plus in my state a wife cant be left out of a will. I'm in 34 year age gap like Mike wider it about her future not mine I'm also 68

The differences include a mixture of culture and the specifics of being in the Philippines in terms of lifestyle and what you are willing to put up with. Hi Mike, you should do one on what prescriptions you can get there without to much trouble. For example I’m on ambien for insomnia, I think it’s called stillnox there. How much trouble is it to get there? Also many of us in our age bracket are on blood pressure and cholesterol meds. Those are life sustaining, so it’s pretty darn important to not hear the words- out of stock sir. Missing a few times of those could mean we’ll be out of this realm.😳

I don't think those kinds of meds ever run out of stock here. There are lots of big pharmaceutical companies here in the Phillipines aside from the small ones.

This i just my input. Older foriegner living with a much younger girl is sure temp for the girl. Man old girl young….death is inevitable. What kind of future and security an old man can pass it on so she will live okay. Is she gonna go back to work while her youth is gone living with the old man. Think for the future too. Old man should also consider her future and financial security if she gives you her youth and companionship. I married a British Australian at age 19 in 1989. Dosent sound like my friends girl lol,I grew up on Kodiak Island Alaska 64-1990,had a huge Philippine population,but here in NC my buddy married one and she was biggest girl ive seen,about 235lbs and 5ft 6,she does work but can stay in bed all day or sit and eat huge amount of food and watch tv or talk to relatives and to lazy to clean or cook lol,hates walking anywhere.Shes bigger then my friend but he felt he was getting a maid and sex partner and he got neither lol.She pays no bills but sends those blue boxes full of stuff to home every 3 months,my friends a cash cow hahaha.

A very good and in depth video. But... how do I plan to move in the Philippines for the express purpose to find a wife? Do I land in the capital and then have to take a flight to some island? I *want to avoid city girls at all costs* . Where are some good destinations for those country girls? Once I am at the destination, how do I find a girl who is available to be married? Because I guess dating apps are to avoid and I have to find them "the manual way".
so no city girls..in the province it is harder to meet but I think first you find a place to live then start walking and talking. Make friends with older ladies shop owners ect. If they like you they will introduce you to single family members. The old fashion way visit a church

Hey Mike, I enjoyed listening to your podcast, giving that I will be moving to Cebu in the next six months, every little bit of information is helpful. On the other hand the comment about the Philippine women preferring white men because it gives a lighter complexion to their babies, it's not quite true. It gives the wrong impression of the attitude of the Filipino women. They tend to like multicultural babies and most of them prefer a multicultural baby.

I would never take out a gf from work as thats a huge responsibility. Specially in the Philippines. There is no guarantee after several months or years you don't brake up and than you can run. However, does Filipina girls date dark skin expats as a norm or is it rare? I am a Black American, 70-years of age, in pretty good health, and receive 2 retirement checks each month. I am strongly considering retiring in the Philippines or Thailand but don't want to be discriminated against because of my race. I have observed some Black expats in the Philippines with Filipina women; but most of the expats I've seen with Filipina girlfriends are White. What do you think ... Philippines or Thailand?

Hi jimmy I ask Janet your question as she says it's more the attitude that anything else since I've been in the philippines one thing I have noticed all the applications like your visa or you driver's license they do not ask your race they ask where were you born and what country your a citizen of.
I personally have not seen any discrimination in the Philippines I personally do not have any Black friends here in the Philippines to ask your question but I have seen a few Black expats in the mall, downtown dumaguete and hypermart with a filipina girlfriends I've also noticed in Cebu City and in Bohol so to be totally honest, I do not think what race you are will cause any problems here I do not see any discrimination at all in the Philippines that is from what I have seen so far.
As for Philippines or Thailand I have not been to Thailand yet. So I picked the Philippines.
