Hello Mike . . . . I started listening your interesting video and appreciated your topic which made me believe that you knew more about American men going to the Philippines. Hope you can help things that bothered me. I am a pensioner so when I come to the Philippines for a longer time will my social security pension be affected ? I saw in one of the videos but I don’t know if it was your s or another blogger that a pensioner from UK became homeless because his pension was cut off. Hope you can shed light on this. Thank you.

Your video will definitely help many foreigners. Personally, I am already 67 years old. I currently live near Davao. For me, the only option is a committed relationship. And I'm not a fan of big age differences. Therefore I am looking for a woman aged around 45 or over. They all have a back story. Clear. But they are determined in life and know what they want. Thank you for your successful video. Greetings from an old German
I'm looking for two women to date at the same time as I'm seeking to live a polygamy lifestyle. Monogamy doesn't seem to be my cup of tea, so I'm curious to try something new. Let me know your thoughts on this type of lifestyle as there are limited content on this topic. Thank you most sincerely.
I don’t disagree with most there although you said go to the province “ if your looking for a wife and has the same values”, lol you’ll have Filipina screaming at the vlog …it’s as you atest but Filipina that are in the city have all the attributes that province girl has but are more modern, more educated and generally more intelligent..the stereotypical giving money to the family may not also be a factor. The big difference is that it’s about your worth to any “women/partner”. Most foreigners are of a certain type ..ie older/overweight etc etc. These foreigners are not appealing to generalise to the 7 plus Filipina. Hence why foreigners seek the poorer girls …you’ll find a plethora of modern city girls that have worked damned hard to get out of the province and are astute and seek the thrill of modernity..quality food etc. It’s a marriage of convenience, this is not to lessen that the province Filipina will not love their partner sincerely as they will feel truly blessed to have food whenever they want and look after their families with the foreigners help…ps it’s a dream come true for them. But ask the province girl that’s worked herself out of the province for a better life …if she wants to go back there…no way, not in the short term at least. It’s all about value …the vibe and your ultimate compatibility. GLTA 🙏
hey Mike, I like your videos. Your perspective is valuable. I moved to Thailand from the US 5 months ago. I am at retirement age but still work a lot. I met a Filipina girl on a dating site. She is 32, no kids, seems perfect. We have been seeing each other for about 2 months. i am just not sure if she is the one. She seems very conservative and shy. Are most Filipina women like that? how long did it take you to really connect with your girl?
HI MIKE... MY EXPERIENCE IN PH IS A LITLE DIFFERENT. I COME TO PH FOR SCUBA DIVE ... AND HAPPEND . MY GF SEEN ME PASING NEAR HER WORK ( SHE IS 35... IM 60) AND SHE BEEN INTERESTING ME. HER FRIENDS GO AROUND ME ASK A LOT QUESTIONS.... AND NOW SHE IS MY GF . I BELIVED IF YOU WANT NICE GF ... TAKE YOUR TIME .... SHE WILL FIND YOU. GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE
Any type of girl you are looking for you need to keep in mind it's going to cost you $$$$. The least expensive will be casual dating, if it's a GF or wife increase your budget to cover her, any kids and definitely her family, it's a cultural package deal. I've heard varying amounts for the family from $50 to $250 a month. It all depends, if they are really poor it will be more, if middle class it will cost you less. If you are a party guy and like bar girls that could get expensive in more ways than one, especially if you are a Captain save a Hoe. There is a TH-camr that married a 18 yr old, he was 56.
@@mikesphilippineretirement He never admitted to dating her at 17, as he's not a fool. If I recall he was only chatting with her. Which I guess isn't technically illegal. In other words he was window shopping until she turned 18. LOL

I am 66 and want an adult provincial female with traditional values and 40+ is best for me. Even older is okay. Planning trip to Valencia for Dec 2024 through Feb 2025.
But don't you think there's a point at which a woman loses the ability to seamlessly merge with a man in a purely harmonious relationship? Ladies, in particular, seem to misplace their enthusiasm for connecting with a man, sometimes after just a few disappointing encounters. They no longer have the potential to be intimately astonished, lacking the freshness needed to genuinely appreciate a physical connection from an emotional standpoint-they're not up for the thrill ride because they've misplaced the innocence required. That's also why men often find themselves in pursuit of younger women, where a deep emotional connection is still on the menu. Of course, a woman in her thirties who's only had a couple of partners might still have the emotional openness necessary for a pure and profound union. But she is the rare bird to be found, isn't she ?
Yeah this is good point, what I would say is that Filipina’s generally the more educated ones really have a lust for life and are coupled with a innate ability for thirst for family life. Filipina are raised as god fearing and even when educated modern Filipina are taught that the man is to be obeyed. A novel concept lol 😂..so you’ll find they are incredibly pliable…in general.
@@mikesphilippineretirement You sure did...that's where I got that line from 🤣🤣🤣 Was that real when you lived in Vegas? If so, what's this world coming to???
I have a great girl to at least start with and our connection is super strong for now. We met on Tinder and she works for a call center and lives in Bulacan, but from Bicol. She has a kid and younger than I wanted, but what can you do, as I am older than she wanted. She took 2 weeks off from work when I get there, and we are doing Palawan, and will see how we do as a couple. Have to jump in the pool to get wet 🙂
I met my wife online and did LDR. We married in the Philippines 17 years ago. She been in the states for 13.5 years and not allowed herself to be influenced. We are now retired here. My wife was only with me in life and she's only 10 years younger than myself.
I see no benefit to marriage since I would be taking on most of the risk. My attitude is if I find one who is willing to invest her time with me, I will make it worth her while by providing a standard of living she can not find with a local man. Most of the relationships I have had lasted anywhere from a few months to about a year. As soon as things go south, I part ways with her and I make no effort to start a new one. But there always seems to be others interested so the cycle continues. I am not interested in juggling multiple women, so one at a time is my preference. The type of woman that appeals to me comes down to character and if she can prove to me she will actually do what she tells me. I prefer dark hair, shorter than me and physically fit. Beauty is hard to define so as long as she is physically appealing to me, I am open to seeing her. I make no promises and leave the future alone. As long as we are enjoying each other and I have no stress or drama (tampo is a deal breaker) I will keep her around.
Mike, I don’t think I have your energy to be able to date a beautiful 30ish year old woman! As a 61 year old, I can see myself pursuing a woman in her 40s or even 50s. Time will tell.
Personally, outer beauty is simple for me, LONG completely black hair and NO make-up/fake nails or eyelashes, I want to see the same lady in the day I wake up next to in the morning, but the eyes are what do it for me. What I value in a woman I would commit to comes from within, not her outer beauty, which is why inner beauty is much longer. HONEST ALWAYS above all; open minded; mature; respectful (Not just in behavior but in dress, understanding and abiding by boundaries as well); good communicator and willing to talk CALMLY about problems not just throw a childish tampo tantrum (That goes against maturity); kind/caring; can remain HUMBLE and use the word NO; loyal, faithful and trustworthy (This is where the low body count falls into, high count/promiscuity takes away trust in her faithfulness); keep PRIVATE life private; not a drinker/partier; a partner willing to share her opinion not just a follower/servant; can NOT be overly jealous; have a sense of humor (I know American humor is different with sarcasm and innuendos, but just not serious all the time); willing to teach/learn about each others cultures and accept our differences because of them; has no desire to go to the U.S.; age isn't so important, but a minimum would be 30; and brings PEACE and happiness. Sorry, no single mothers, nothing against them, but the cons far out weigh the pros FOR ME (Everyone's opinion will vary), and introduce a whole lot of other problems that would take away peace and happiness. I think the biggest caveat/problem could be that I'm an atheist. Everyone has different preferences/standards in what they look for, the one thing everyone should do is sit down and HONESTLY think about what they actually want in a partner, what is set in stone, what they can compromise on, and what they can give up if everything else checks the boxes (Don't be a western woman and pass on a good person just because of one dislike when they fill all the other boxes). When meeting a lady, talk about each others intentions/expectations, if they are too far apart, move on before anything serious comes of the relationship and someone gets hurt. If she EXPECTS children/you to pay for her families every need, and you have no INTENTIONS of doing so, you are too far apart to be together.
Good video Mike. We all have our own preferences but I’m 60 and prefer 35 and up. No 20 somethings for me. As for that guy wanting to hang at the cafeteria, he’s a bit delusional with that plan but two each their own.
That story about the guy who only wants someone to take care of him when he’s an old man is ridiculous. Does he really think some young hot Filipina doctor is going to want his old fat a__ , hardly. And if his plans are to take someone with him to the US is only going to make him more broke than he already is. For gosh darn sake…hire a caregiver…don’t try and convince some professional woman to “let” him take her away from living in the Philippines. I do like his idea of hanging out where he may meet educated professionals…but it seems he’d had to offer them a lot to get their attention and if they are serious about meeting a westerner it’s going to be that situation where they want to get out of the Philippines anyway. How long does he think an attentive, smart, professional Filipino is going to last in America? There are too many stories of this scenario and the guy is a fool if he thinks that wouldn’t happen to him.
Hi MIKE , if ever I get there , I would look for a minimal age of 40 plus. I love kids but been there done that , thus no kids or older kid. Province girl for sure , gf possibly leading to wife . I am a few years younger than you. It would be nice to see some older girls on your channel. TY GOD BLESS CIAO
I disagree with 65% of this video. I'm a 42-year-old man and there's no way in the world I will ever date a woman that has children. I agree that filipinas that are too young can be a handful but as a man in his 40s as you know men are in their prime. I'm financially stable good shape and I'm not talking to a woman up over 27. I think you need to make a video for younger men who want to date women in their twenties otherwise good video
Im heading there in March. I will be looking for a potential wife. Hopefully move in together for a year or so and if it all goes well, get married. A more traditional woman. I dont want to feel trapped if things dont work out because she gave up a decent job to be with me. I dont want more kids as mine have been grown for years (im 67) and the younger woman all seem to want kids, so I am looking for maybe someone that says she does or doesnt want kids but is 39 or 40 years old. Figuring by the time we actually have a solid relationship she would be past the age to safely have a child. Of course this would have to be in an early discussion. I would prefer she didnt have a child but depending on the situation maybe 1 child. so many variables need to be thought of before you get involved with someone.
@@mikesphilippineretirement yes. I think you need to have thought of all the deal breakers in advance and discuss before you get too emotionally involved. But yes love it the most important thing once you have some basic discovery over coffee. It's late to be finding out deal breakers after you become emotionally attached.
Not all men come to the philippines looking for a woman but a better life. True a good Filipina is a leazon to the philippines and can save you money as she is used to being on a budget. The in general rule is to not take a Filipina back to the west and you need to let them know straight up that you are in the philippines to stay. Many women don't want to leave their family and even if they are an island away they still will be happy. A province girl is used to living simple so what is simple and basic to us is an upgrade for her and she will be very happy with that. Flushing toilet and air conditioning is a luxury in the philippines and that is really the basic needs for most of us . A mature Filipina is probably the best one to find, preferably in her late 20s to the early 30s without children is preferred and not married . Many women will call themselves single mothers when in fact they are separated mothers which some seem to not differentiate from. It's the difference between baggage and a possible jail sentence. Beware as they will lie straight to your face about this and when you find out that they will down play it as no big deal which it is an extremely big deal for you as you can go to prison and then be black listed and deported.
If you met an 18 year old Filipina in high school you have to ask yourself one question, "Is she better of with a local Filipino boy that will impregnate her and move to the next island or is she better off with you?". I suggest it's the latter. We all root for the Justin and Britney story but, in reality, the Rene and Celine story makes more sense long term.
Mike, you mentioned running back to the States to get a divorce. That only works if you’re married in the U.S. I wasted $2,000 on my gf’s divorce. She’s legally divorced in the USA, but not in the Philippines. A U.S. divorce has to be Recognized, and that cost about the same as an annulment.
Yes, it has to be recognized here. It's a new jurisprudence which allows filipinos to remarry if they are divorced by their spouses in their native countries. My ex-wife is a canadian citizen and she divorced me in Canada and that allowed me to remarry here if I want to.
@@mmchannel8056 Understood. My girlfriend got married to an American in the Philippines and then was abandoned for 15 years before I met her. I found out too late that it would have been cheaper to just pay for her annulment.
If I bring my lady to the States and she wants to work she can work for me, but she will not ever need to work she can concentrate on taking care of the house and kids. All she wants is someone who will take care of her and our kids. Mine is from a province in Leyte. She never wanted to come to the USA she always wanted to stay in PH until yesterday the first time in the 8 years we have known each other she said she would come to the States because our daughter told her she wanted to see snow on Christmas. Well, now we have to start working on a visa for her and our daughter to come to the States. I don't know of any place it snows in PH. LOL Any other ideas where our daughter can see snow on Christmas in PH?
@@jimbobmcdually that would be in the countryside of the US to see snow on Christmas Day. To see and feel Christmas in the US is in NYC. In the main i like your style, and i like the subjects you tackle. But you often talk about girls/filipinas/women as though they are a commodity. I'm a 'died in the wool' 60+ brit, so i get your drift, but I think you need to choose your words a little more carefully.
I could not agree more with you. A filipina in her 30s/40s is a very attractive woman. Im 45 anda countryboy, jessa is 34 and a province girl. We argue, we make up......always both happen within the hour. Just like any other couple. But put us at a task together..... we work as one. I see a lot of vloggers here saying this girl is a 5, 6, 8.5....... The woman in a mans life is a 10 and nothing less. If you don't see her/treat her as a 10........ then move out of the way because there is a guy out there who will. Other guys looking a submissive wife? Wtf? Remember, this woman will be making decisions for you when you are not capable of making them for yourself (through a variety of reasons as your next of kin) keep that in mind

Any type of girl you are looking for you need to keep in mind it's going to cost you $$$$. The least expensive will be casual dating, if it's a GF or wife increase your budget to cover her, any kids and definitely her family, it's a cultural package deal. I've heard varying amounts for the family from $50 to $250 a month. It all depends, if they are really poor it will be more, if middle class it will cost you less. If you are a party guy and like bar girls that could get expensive in more ways than one, especially if you are a Captain save a Hoe. There is a TH-camr that married a 18 yr old, he was 56.
so he was dating her when she was under age?
@@mikesphilippineretirement He never admitted to dating her at 17, as he's not a fool. If I recall he was only chatting with her. Which I guess isn't technically illegal. In other words he was window shopping until she turned 18. LOL

As long as we are enjoying each other and I have no stress or drama (tampo is a deal breaker) I will keep her around.
thanks for sharing
Mike, I don’t think I have your energy to be able to date a beautiful 30ish year old woman!
As a 61 year old, I can see myself pursuing a woman in her 40s or even 50s. Time will tell.
you will be shocked at what you can do
Personally, outer beauty is simple for me, LONG completely black hair and NO make-up/fake nails or eyelashes, I want to see the same lady in the day I wake up next to in the morning, but the eyes are what do it for me.

As for that guy wanting to hang at the cafeteria, he’s a bit delusional with that plan but two each their own.
many beautiful ladies in their 30's
@@mikesphilippineretirement Yeah I know. I’ve made several trips already and another coming up in less than a month, so I know what’s available.
but many do not. I agree that you need boots on the ground to understand what is different here from what is going on in the US
That story about the guy who only wants someone to take care of him when he’s an old man is ridiculous.
There are too many stories of this scenario and the guy is a fool if he thinks that wouldn’t happen to him.
many good points John

I disagree with 65% of this video. I'm a 42-year-old man and there's no way in the world I will ever date a woman that has children. I agree that filipinas that are too young can be a handful but as a man in his 40s as you know men are in their prime. I'm financially stable good shape and I'm not talking to a woman up over 27. I think you need to make a video for younger men who want to date women in their twenties otherwise good video
will do
Im heading there in March. I would prefer she didnt have a child but depending on the situation maybe 1 child. so many variables need to be thought of before you get involved with someone.
yes many thing but most important is you love each other and respect each other.
@@mikesphilippineretirement yes. I think you need to have thought of all the deal breakers in advance and discuss before you get too emotionally involved. But yes love it the most important thing once you have some basic discovery over coffee. It's late to be finding out deal breakers after you become emotionally attached.
eyes wide open

That’s What I Will be Looking For Women in Their 30’s 40’s & 50’s
you can find what your looking for in the Philippines, Barry
If you met an 18 year old Filipina in high school you have to ask yourself one question, "Is she better of with a local Filipino boy that will impregnate her and move to the next island or is she better off with you?". I suggest it's the latter. We all root for the Justin and Britney story but, in reality, the Rene and Celine story makes more sense long term.
in high school is the key point to the subject
@@mikesphilippineretirement Correct. Less chance of them already being single mothers.
He meant it lets the man out, but not both.
