@@ulwarriors Yes and no. If you install just a mono amp and sub, the factory amp and sub will remain operable. If you’re installing the full amp system, no. The new amp system bypasses the factory amp which abandons the factory sub. BUT, there is an option! You can either install our MBQ OEM replacement sub which will connect to the new amp and will take the place of the factory sub location, or if you want 2 subs, you can replace the OEM sub with our MBQ sub AND install a 2nd sub. If you’re wanting the 2 sub option, I’d recommend contacting us so we can prepare a different amp configuration to provide more power to handle the 2 sub solution.
Wrangler install would be awesome. This seems to go much smoother than a wrangler. I don’t see room under my 2020 wrangler seat for this amp. Kinda frustrating now that I’ve gone this far as to remove the seat
I have a 6 speed manual Gladiator Mojave. The access hole to run power wire to battery is occupied by the slave cylinder for the clutch. Where do you suggest to run the power wire through the fire wall to the battery?

How does the down-firing 12" Kicker box compare to the side-firing SSV Works 10" box, especially with the top off? I am torn between losing precious cargo space and better sound quality.
@@manchildbbq The 12” Down-Firing Kicker sub definitely produces a deeper, harder punch over the SSV 10” side enclosure. The Down-Firing is super sturdy and built to withstand stacking items on top of. Although it takes up a footprint in the cargo area, you can still pile items on top of it so the space really isn’t lost.

Hello there- if you have the Heigh10, you will not need the PAC module. The RCA’s from the amplifier will connect to the RCA’s at the back of the Stinger. In the video shown, we use the amp bypass harness. Your only difference will be routing of the RCA’s to the radio vs under steering wheel as shown in the video. The Jeep in the video has the Alpine i509-WRA-JL which mounts the deck under the steering wheel. Your RCA’s and remote wire will route to the back of the Stinger radio.

Is there a bundle for a 2024 with the Alpine upgrade (it sounds awful, the EQ is 3 sliders, and isn't loud enough to overcome my hearing loss)? Since I have the factory sub, can I mount a new speaker in its place?
@trailseven I have a 2021 Wrangler unlimited 6-speed. Its awesome to take turns with and toss around. Your video had me thinking about upgrading the sound system, also- the exhaust note is fun to listen to.
So I'm not a professional installer at all. But this is the 5th video I've watched for a bunch of different brand installs for aftermarket stereo and amp installs and I've installed tons of systems in trucks and cars and all these jeep installs I've seen show them installing amps under the seats next to heat vents.......always was under the impression putting an amp infront of a vent blowing hot air on it underneath the seat just doesn't seem like a great idea...now I could be wrong but it wouldn't make me feel comfortable....especially mounting an amp on the floor of a jeep when u can potentially flood the vehicle if u get caught in rain without the top or doors on its happend to me in puerto rico in a rental and ther was about 2 inches of water on the floor.....IDK maybe I'm wrong but im just throwing out my opinion

Running the 9 wire with power wire, is there any signal interference ? THIA
@@mgmaier75 Not at all. Both are insulated and the interference issue is more prevalent when running RCA’s parallel with power.

Does anyone know if the downfiring box will fit under the jeep 2 door back seats and actually be able to remove the back seats with ease if needed?
The down-firing will not fit under the rear seats. The 8” will however fit in the cargo area behind the rear seats.

This is a 5-channel amp which will power all 8 speakers from the 4 channels and the subwoofer from the 5th channel.

Absolutely, the 5”, 7”, and 8.4” all share the same cable installation.

Thank you for your input. We have plenty of marine grade amps if water is a concern for your Jeep.
if im running a dsp should i still use the 9 wire to the amp ?
You will only route to 4 speakers if you’re running an active system. You won’t use this 5-channel amp though either unless your grouping.
So If I don't plan on replacing the factory sub is the wiring in the blue cable>?
No, the blue amp harness is only for the speakers. The sub wire will come directly from the amp to the subwoofer.
