That copyright-free music is 🔥🔥🔥!!! All joking aside, I’ve bought gear from these guys and had them do install. Top-notch all around. They’re making it easy for 4Runner fam.
I’m a little bit confused because I was hoping I could utilize my stock head unit. is that an option with this set up? Because that’s more of what I had in mind of plug-in play.
Same for me. I just installed your FOCAL speaker upgrade and want to keep the stock head unit (for now) and just need a plug n play amp (non JBL '23 4runner) FOCAL's were a huge upgrade over the stock garbage speakers. Thanks!@@TrailGridPro
Will the rear hatch speakers work with this setup? I ask because there are channels for the front, rear and sub.. does Rear channel provide signal to the rear hatch as well? I have the T9 head unit from CTH.
I cant wait for the JBL by pass ... I hate the sound system in my trd pro . Just thinking about all the rewire if I want to go aftermarket it makes me mad.
Nice install video, but have few questions: 1. That ground for amp... will it provide sufficient contact without stripping off some paint? 2. Amp is right at exhaust of underseat a/c exhaust?! Ok during summer, it will cool down, but what about during winter? Won't it heat up just due to hot air comming from that underseat vent? 3. Wouldn't you fasten the amp to the floor? It's held just by wires and gravity, that look quite unprofessional to me.
Thank you! 1. Yep! 2. We've been running them under the seat for years with no issues! :-) 3. You're welcome to fasten it to the floor in any way that makes you feel comfortable. We use a velcro on the bottom side of the amp and that keeps it in place very well, but again you're welcome to use any mounting solution you feel is best for your application.
I’d be careful putting the amp under the seat like he did. There’s a vent under there and if you cut the heat on your amp will get hot. Personally I always just like mounting it on the back seat
@@TrailGridProfor sure man! Wasn’t saying there was anything wrong with the way you did it I just like having it where I can get to it if if I have to service anything/tune it. And I just am kinda iffy like I said because of the vent… putting it under the seat may be fine.

Exquisitely explained. Really appreciate the time you had to take out to explain.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks a ton!

We'll have a stock head unit option soon!

@@TrailGridProany update on when this will be available for the stock head unit?
Where can I buy the harness itself?? Thats like the only part I need.
Are you planning a Tacoma install video? Thank you!
That's the plan!
Do you have any kit that works with the oem head unit?
Coming soon! :-)
Will these instructions work with the sony XAV-9500ES head unit?
They sure do! If you have any questions during install feel free to reach out to support@trailgridpro.com!

Yep! Your hatch speakers are tied into the rear speaker channel, and will still function as normal!

Thanks for commenting! We hope to have that available soon!
Question, wont running the power wire along the other wires cause interference?
It can, and most likely will. An actual audio shop would not do that.
Would this not work with the stockJBL head unit?
We'll have kits available for the JBL trucks very soon! Stay tuned!
am i able to use this kit with the ALPINE ILX-507
@@cloudgamer9790 Yep you sure are!

@@maccook5230 yep, the back seat is a great place as well!!

I like amps when it fits under the front seats. Those vents help when the amp gets hot and you can turn on the air to cool them off.
What if it has the JBL System in 4Runner ?
We'll have a JBL amp bypass and amplifier kit very soon! Stay tuned!
I am very interested in a JBL system amp/sub upgrade!
