In my mind all the pictures in the frames get replaced by their owners - with their personal art, mementos and inspirations. She just provides the frame to display it.
I love that you are tackling spaces that are not mansions. So many design shows cater to people with big spaces and big budgets. This is how most people live and you are showing that a wee bit of creativity can make your space more functional AND beautiful. Bravo!

The attention to detail just continues to elevate lately (like painting the trim on the island, the outlet plates, projector, or styling the extra open shelf in the kitchen)- this was such a huge transformation, and I’d love to see more in this style! I know there have been some comments in the past about the art prints feeling kind of generic, but I thought in this one the balance of photos and prints looked a lot more individualized and like they’d be easy for Alessia to add her own photos and mementos to. This is my favorite makeover so far. I love the traditional elements mixed with the metals that are so rich in color. The plumbing pieces with wood shelving around the little sofa adds such interest to style. Your choice of wallpaper looked as though I was in a airplane looking at clouds through the window. Such a beautiful little space with the added bonus of a movie projecter and screen, "WOW"!

This is my favorite makeover so far. I love the traditional elements mixed with the metals that are so rich in color. The plumbing pieces with wood shelving around the little sofa adds such interest to style. Your choice of wallpaper looked as though I was in a airplane looking at clouds through the window. Such a beautiful little space with the added bonus of a movie projecter and screen, "WOW"!

It looks great! I was feeling bad for her having a beautiful living room, but having to decorate the entry way and bedroom all on her own. She has great taste though based on her Pinterest and asking Alexandra for help. I would love to see an update on the other areas of the apartment. It is definitely a blank slate.
